  • 본 논문은 AMGA 그리드 메타데이터 카탈로그를 위한 WS-DAIR 표준 인터페이스의 설계와 구현 방안을 제시한다. AMGA WS-DAIR 구현은 기존 TCP 인터페이스 기반 AMGA 구현에서 제공하는 모든 기능들을 제공하면서도, WS-DAIR 표준 스펙 기반 인터페이스를 지원함으로써 그리드 상의 데이터베이스 접근 시스템들 간의 상호호환성을 향상시켰다. 또한 성능과 확장성 측면에서도 기존 AMGA 구현과 비슷한 수준을 목표로 구현되었다.

  • Three-dimensional (3D) design data is used for various purposes throughout the life cycle of a plant construction project. Plant 3D CAD systems support 3D modeling based on specs-catalogs, which contain data that are used for different purposes such as design, procurement, production, and handover. Therefore, it is important to share the spec-catalog data in the 3D design model with other application systems. Sharing this data thus requires a system that extracts spec-catalog data from plant 3D CAD systems and converts them into neutral model data. In this paper, we analyze equipment spec-catalog data of plant 3D CAD systems and, based on these analyses, define the data structure for neutral spec-catalog data. We subsequently propose a procedure that translates native spec-catalog data to neutral model data and develop a prototype system that performs this operation. The proposed method is then experimentally validated for the test spec-catalog data.

  • As information technology of constructional area develops recently, web-based on-line system is rapidly increasing to provide information on diverse constructional materials so as to enhance productivity of constructional business and to reduce cost. Since the constructional materials information provided by these systems, i.e., quality, specification, etc are not standardized, however, the staffs on the constructional site suffer considerable difficulties in using materials information when acquiring information on specific materials, e.g., using diverse information systems or repeating similar jobs. Thus, this research typified information items of constructional materials on the basis of GDAS and designed multi system model to control integrated information on constructional materials. This system can efficiently control and utilize materials information by supporting automatic classification of constructional materials to which OmniClass Part-22 and UNSPSC are applied, conditional complex retrieval of materials information, real-time automatic embodiment of electronic catalog and retrieving/controlling RFID.

  • It is necessary to construct an equipment catalog in plant design. A different level of detail may be needed for the three-dimensional (3D) computer aided design (CAD) data for equipment, depending on the purpose. Equipment suppliers provide CAD data with high complexity, whereas plant designers need CAD data with low complexity. Therefore, it is necessary to simplify the 3D CAD assembly data. To resolve this issue, a system for automatically simplifying the 3D CAD assembly data of equipment was developed. This paper presents the architecture of the system, the detailed functions of the system, and a neutral data format used for uploading simplified 3D CAD assembly data to a plant 3D CAD system. In addition, experiment results using the prototype system are explained.

  • PST stands for the Premium Sales Tool for Product Consulting is customized product catalog system. In other words, the product classification categories of content for consulting and sales to customers by providing useful information for the maximization of an overall system. These problems with mobility and flexibility of updating the solution to integrate mobile with mobile devices, but high-performance high-resolutions era content data continuously, but still it is difficult to handle. In this paper, to solve this problem, depending on the user's gesture by allowing periodic allocation and release of a problem for load generation enhanced by improving the PST system has been designed and implemented. Implementation was a result of the test the performance of the system, that PA system that has been provided by the traditional DA system show the allocation and the average 78% of the rate of decrease the load is released in the frequency of page, CPU utilization was reduced an average 72% I was confirmed.

  • This paper proposes an augmented reality application called augmented book. The augmented book provides an interface to the virtual objects and virtual environments using a real book. In the augmented book a user observes and manipulates the 3D visualization of virtual objects. Three different types of markers are introduced for the manipulation of virtual objects. By moving the control marker, the user controls the virtual objects. Our augmented book can be used as an interface for various kinds of 3D contents such as contents of real books or product catalogs.

  • The world faces a legacy of serious environmental problems such as exhaustion of natural resources and lack of landfill sites. To address these problems, recycling of materials and products has been proposed, but at present, it is realized only within a few fields. This is because most industrial products consist of various components made of different materials and their recycling are based on the assumption that they can be separated and classified easily, the actual situation however cannot satisfy this assumption. The issue in recycling the components and wastes of used cars, in turn, gives rise to emphasis on the disassembly process. For the efficient disassembly, the component materials and their easy separation as well as the recyclability must be taken into account as early as in the design process. It should be developed an almost perfect design catalogue with existing technologies by analyzing design characteristics, manufacturing, assembly and disassembly processes for major parts and components of automobiles in terms of existing and newly proposed recycling technologies. Also it is essential to provide more technical know-how and application methods that may be helpful to utilize different components and component groups.
