A Coupling Metric between Classes for Efficient System Design (효율적인 시스템 설계를 위한 클래스 간의 결합 척도)

  • Recently, service-oriented systems have been issued by their properties of reducing software development time and effort by reusing functional service units. The reusability of services can effectively promote through loose coupling between services and loose coupling between services depends on component-based system. That is, the component-based system is designed by grouping the tightly coupled classes of the object-oriented system and the service-oriented system is designed by the component-based system. Therefore, to design the component-based system and service-oriented system efficiently, a metric to measure the coupling between classes accurately needs. In this paper, we propose a coupling metric between classes applying a structural property, a dynamic property, and the normalized value by 0-1. We prove the theoretical soundness of the proposed metric by the axioms of briand et al, and suggest the accuracy and practicality through a case study. We suggest the evaluation results of the proposed metric through a comparison with the conventional metrics.

  • 격현상은 한국어의 여러 가지 문법현상들을 분석하고 이를 전산학적으로 구현하는데 아주 중요한 부분 중의 하나이다. 결합범주문법(Combinatory Categorial Grammar; CCG)을 이용한 대부분의 기존 연구들에서는 격조사나 보조사들에도 별도의 통사범주들을 할당한 후, 이들 조사들이 명사와 결합하여 하나의 명사구를 구성하는 것으로 조사들을 처리하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법들은 이론적인 문제점들뿐만 아니라 전산적 구현에 있어서도 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하면서도 한국어의 격현상을 효과적으로 구현할 수 있는 방법을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 사용하려고 하는 문법공학 시스템은 한국어를 위한 유형상속 결합범주문법(Type-inherited Combinatory Categorial Grammar; TCCG)이다. 이 시스템 안에서는 명사구의 격조사나 보조사들이 별도의 통사범주들을 할당받지 않고, 명사의 굴절규칙(inflectional rules)에 의하여 명사와 결합하게 된다. 따라서 국어의 기본적인 격조사들을 효율적으로 구현할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 보조사나 격조사 탈락현상들도 효과적으로 분석하고 구현할 수 있게 된다.

Language Identification System using phoneme recognizer and phonotactic language model (음소인식기와 음소결합확률모델을 이용한 언어식별시스템)

  • 본 논문에서는 음소인식기와 음소결합확률모델을 이용하여 전화음성을 대상으로 입력음성이 어느 나라 말 인지를 식별할 수 있는 언어식별시스템을 구현하였고 성능을 실험하였다. 시스템은 음소인식기로 입력음성에 대한 음소열을 인식하는 과정, 인식된 음소열을 이용하여 인식대상 언어별 음소결합확률모델을 생성하는 훈련과정, 훈련과정에서 생성된 음소결합확률모델로부터 확률 값을 계산하여 인식결과를 출력하는 식별과정으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 음소결합확률모델로부터 우도를 계산할 때 정보이론(Information Theory, Shannon and Weaver, 1949)을 이용하여 가중치를 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 시스템의 훈련 및 실험에는 OGI 11개국어 전화음성 corpus (OGI-TS)를 사용하였으며, 음소인식기는 HTK를 이용하여 구현하였고 음소인식기 훈련에는 NTIMIT 전화음성 DB를 이용하였다. 실험결과 11개국어를 대상으로 45초 길이의 음성에 대해서 평균 $74.1\%$, 10초 길이의 음성에 대해서는 평균 $57.1\%$의 인식률을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • This paper proposes a DFPS (Dual Frequency Power Source) impedance matching device for uniformity improvement of a semiconductor plasma etching system. The DFPS consists of two parts for safe plasma processing on large-area substrates. The first part is an ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) for high integration by using ferrite core. The second part is a CCP (Capacitive Coupled Plasma) to control uniformity of whole cells. Proposed DFPS can achieve high productivity improvement required for semiconductor equipment industry. The proposed plasma system is analyzed, simulated and experimentally verified with a matching equipment at 27.12MHz and 400kHz.

An Advanced Parallel Join Algorithm for Managing Data Skew on Hypercube Systems (하이퍼큐브 시스템에서 데이타 비대칭성을 고려한 향상된 병렬 결합 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose advanced parallel join algorithm to efficiently process join operation on hypercube systems. This algorithm uses a broadcasting method in processing relation R which is compatible with hypercube structure. Hence, we can present optimized parallel join algorithm for that hypercube structure. The proposed algorithm has a complete solution of two essential problems - load balancing problem and data skew problem - in parallelization of join operation. In order to solve these problems, we made good use of the characteristics of clustering effect in the algorithm. As a result of this, performance is improved on the whole system than existing algorithms. Moreover. new algorithm has an advantage that can implement non-equijoin operation easily which is difficult to be implemented in hash based algorithm. Finally, according to the cost model analysis. this algorithm showed better performance than existing parallel join algorithms.

A Segmentation-Based HMM and MLP Hybrid Classifier for English Legal Word Recognition (분할기반 은닉 마르코프 모델과 다층 퍼셉트론 결합 영문수표필기단어 인식시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose an HMM(Hidden Markov modeJ)-MLP(Multi-layer perceptron) hybrid model for recognizing legal words on the English bank check. We adopt an explicit segmentation-based word level architecture to implement an HMM engine with nonscaled and non-normalized symbol vectors. We also introduce an MLP for implicit segmentation-based word recognition. The final recognition model consists of a hybrid combination of the HMM and MLP with a new hybrid probability measure. The main contributions of this model are a novel design of the segmentation-based variable length HMMs and an efficient method of combining two heterogeneous recognition engines. ExperimenLs have been conducted using the legal word database of CENPARMI with encouraging results.

  • Recently, the research of security and its related problems has been received great interested. The research for hper-chaos systems and its synchronization are actively processing as one of method to apply to secure and cryptography communication. In this paper, we propose the synchronization method by coupling coefficient of linear and nonlinear in order to accomplish the synchronization of hyper-chaos system that organized by SC-CNN(State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network). We also verify and confirm the result of synchronization between entire transmitter and receiver, and each subsystem in transmitter and receiver through the phase portrait and difference of time-series by the computer simulation.

  • 분자모델링 시뮬레이션 도구는 신 물질과 신약개발을 위한 가상 실험을 하는데 사용되는 중요한 도구이다. 이 도구는 분자 물질간의 결합을 통하여 에너지 계산을 하여 가장 낮은 에너지 준위를 보여주는 위치를 탐색한다. 에너지 결과를 빠르게 제공하면 사용자가 분자 물질을 결합하여 안정된 위치를 찾는데 많은 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 에너지 계산을 고성능으로 처리 할 수 있는 분산처리시스템과 실시간 응답성 보장 스케줄링 알고리즘을 적용한 환경에 사용자 입력 예측 시스템을 추가하여 에너지 계산을 기존 시스템 보다. 빠르게 요청하였으며, 에너지 계산 결과의 응답성을 향상 시켰다. 또한 사용자 입력 예측시스템에서 발생하는 오차의 문제를 예측 시스템의 운영 방식을 통해 해결 방법을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 에너지 결과의 응답성 보장을 통하여 사용자가 좀 더 빠르게 안정된 결합 위치를 찾도록 도와준다.

  • This paper proposes a packet detection algorithm for IEEE802.11n system. IEEE802.11n is a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system and we have to consider several combining techniques which are used in multiple receive antenna system. In this paper, we propose a hybrid packet detection algorithm which combines double sliding window algorithm or delay and correlation algorithm, that is used in single input single output (SISO) system, and multiple receive antenna combining algorithms, and simulated their performances in Iin system environments and shows the results.

Numerical Study of SPGD-based Phase Control of Coherent Beam Combining under Various Turbulent Atmospheric Conditions (대기외란에 따른 SPGD 기반 결맞음 빔결합 시스템 위상제어 동작성능 분석)

  • In this paper, based on a stochastic parallel gradient descent (SPGD) algorithm we study phase control of a coherent-beam-combining system under turbulent atmospheric conditions. Based on the statistical theory of atmospheric turbulence, we carry out the analysis of the phase and wavefront distortion of a laser beam propagating through a turbulent atmospheric medium. We also conduct numerical simulations of a coherent-beam-combining system with 7- and 19-channel laser beams distorted by atmospheric turbulence. Through numerical simulations, we characterize the phase-control characteristics and efficiency of the coherent-beam-combining system under various degrees of atmospheric turbulence. It is verified that the SPGD algorithm is capable of realizing 7-channel coherent beam combining with a beam-combining efficiency of more than 90%, even under the turbulent atmospheric conditions up to cn2 of 10-13 m-2/3. In the case of 19-channel coherent beam combining, it is shown that the same turbulent atmospheric conditions result in a drastic reduction of the beam-combining efficiency down to 60%, due to the elevated impact of the corresponding refractive-index inhomogeneity. In addition, by putting together the number of iterations of the SPGD algorithm required for phase locking under atmospheric turbulence and the time intervals of atmospheric phenomena, which typically are of the order of ㎲, it is estimated that hundreds of MHz to a few GHz of computing bandwidth of SPGD-based phase control may be required for a coherent-beam-combining system to confront such turbulent atmospheric conditions. We expect the results of this paper to be useful for quantitatively analyzing and predicting the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the SPGD-based phase-control performance of a coherent-beam-combining system.
