캐쉬 메모리 시스템의 성능 측정 방법으로 이제까지 널리 사용되고 있는 방법이 트레이스 구동 시뮬레이션이다. 트레이스 구동 시뮬레이션의 정확성은 사용하는 트레이스의 크기, 포함된 정보의 종류 등에 의해서 크게 영향을 받는다. 이에 따라 보다 정확한 트레이스를 생성하기 위해 많은 방법들이 제안되었으며 그 중 하드웨어 모니터링 기법에 의해서 얻어진 트레이스는 응용 프로그램의 메모리 참조에 대한 정보뿐만 아니라, 문맥교환이나 시스템 프로그램의 메모리 참조에 대한 정보, 메모리 참조가 발생한 시간 정보 등을 가진다는 장점을 갖는다. 그러나 하드웨어 모니터링 시스템은 트레이스를 생성하기 위한 시스템에 따라서 설계가 변화되어야 하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 하드웨어 모니터링 시스템의 단점을 완화하기 위해서 EPLD(Erasable Programmable Logic Device)를 사용하여 트레이스 생성 시스템을 구성하여, 보다 간단한 수정으로 여러 시스템에서 트레이스 생성이 가능한 하드웨어 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 제작된 트레이스 생성 시스템은 66Mhz의 고속 버스 시스템에서 동작할 수 있는 특징을 갖는다.

Previous buffer cache schemes for multimedia storage systems only exploited the sequential references of multimedia files and didn't consider looping references. However, in some video applications like foreign language learning, users mark the scene as loop area and then application automatically playbacks the scene several times. In this paper, we propose a new buffer replacement scheme, called HBM(Hybrid Buffer Management), for multimedia storage systems that have both sequential and looping references. Proposed scheme assumes that application layer informs reference pattern of files to file system. Then HBM applies an appropriate replacement policy to each file. Our simulation experiments show that HBM outperforms previous buffer cache schemes such as DISTANCE and LRU.

미세 회로 기술의 발전은 단일 칩에 집적될 수 있는 트랜지스터의 수를 지속적으로 증가시키고 있으며 이에 따라 설계의 복잡도 역시 크게 증가하고 있다. 이러한 설계 복잡도의 증가는 여러 기능 블록이 IP(Intellectual Property) 형태로 독립적으로 설계되어서 이들의 조합으로 새로운 시스템을 구성하는 시스템 온 칩(System On a Chi)과 같은 새로운 시스템 설계 방법에 대한 요구를 증가시키고 있다.[1]. 이런 시스템 온 칩에 사용될 메모리 시스템 역시 기존의 표준화된 메인 메모리 이 외에 각각의 다양한 응용에 적합한 맞춤형(Application Specific Standard Products) 내장 메모리 시스템 구조에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이와 같이 특정 응용에 적합한 메모리 시스템을 설계할 수 있는 기본 정보를 제공해 주는 것이 필수적이다. 또한 이러한 정보에 따라 설계된 메모리 시스템에 대한 성능 평가할 환경도 함께 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 응용의 메모리 참조 특성을 분석하고 특성화하기 위하여 캐쉬 파라메터의 변화에 따른 캐쉬 접근 실패의 분포, 메모리 접근 영역의 분포, 참조 사이에 있는 유일한 참조의 수의 분포 등 다양한 정보를 제공해 주는 환경을 구축하였다.

플라즈마 물성데이터는 플라즈마 내에서 일어나는 입자(전자, 원자, 이온분자 등) 들의 충돌에 의해 발생되는 데이터로써 플라즈마 현상을 이해하는 필수 데이터이며, 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있다. 플라즈마 물성데이터를 산업계에서 지속적으로 참조하여 사용할 수 있도록 만든 수치데이터나 통계자료를 플라즈마 물성 참조데이터라고 한다. 기존 플라즈마 물성데이터 센터의 플라즈마 물성 참조데이터 수집평가 시스템은 사용자가 이용하고자 하는 플라즈마 물성 참조데이터를 일일이 자신의 시스템에 맞춰 데이터를 다시 가공해야 하는 어려움이 있어 데이터를 효율적인 관리하고 다양한 분야에 적용하기 위한 XML Schema 설계 대해 논의한다.

Plasma 물성 데이터는 Plasma내에서 일어나는 입자(전자, 원자, 이온, 분자 등)들의 충돌에 대한 데이터로써 Plasma 발생 장치 설계 및 제어의 핵심 요소이며, Plasma 공정조건 확립을 위한 필수 정보가 된다. 참조표준은 과학기술데이터나 정보에 대하여 정확도와 신뢰도에 대한 분석 및 평가가 이루어진 공인데이터를 말한다. 이러한 플라즈마 물성 정보를 체계적으로 관리하고 신뢰성 있는 데이터를 필요로 하는 산업체에 지원하기 위하여 특정 참조표준과 참조데이터로 제정, 보급하는 Plasma 물성 참조표준 수집평가 시스템이 필요하고, 이에 대한 설계가 필요하다.

Scientific/technical data whose reliability is authorized have to include physical/chemical constants, authorized property value or authorized scientific statistical values so that the scientists in the same field use them continuously and repeatedly for their research. The data also have to be managed as Standard Reference Data that will be used in other area nationwide by analyzing, evaluating and authorizing the accuracy and reliability of the information with scientific methods. This study suggests a plan for establishing the National Center for Standard Reference Data as well as a necessity for managing the data produced in research process as a national Standard Reference Data. Also, a prototype of research information system for measurement standards is developed and described in detail for research information for measurement standard to be used as a reference data, then a plan to managing national reference data is suggested, in addition.

정보통신 기술의 발전에 따라 전자 거래를 위한 다양한 기술들이 개발되어 왔다. 그러나 전자 거래에서 사용되는 국제 표준 문서, 국내 표준 문서, 지침서 등과 같은 정보를 체계적으로 관리 및 제공할 수 있는 표준화 된 방법이 개발되어 있지 않다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 전자 거래 관련 정보의 효과적인 관리 및 서비스를 위한 레지스트리 모델을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 관리 모델의 가장 기본적인 정보모델인 ISO/IEC 11179 메타데이터 레지스트리를 참조하여 전자 거래 분야의 표준 참조 시스템 관리 레지스트리 정보 모델을 정의한다. 제안모델은 체계적인 표준 관리 및 상호 연계를 통하여 거래 기업이나 개발 업체에서 전자 거래 시스템 도입 및 구축 시 참조할 종합적인 표준정보 제공을 가능하게 한다.

This paper introduces a technique for generating an appropriate template signal via modeling of minimum-phase stable ARMA (Auto-Regressive Moving Average) system for coherent impulse communication systems. It has been well known that the transmitted impulse signal becomes deformed because of dispersive and resonant characteristics. Accordingly, in spite of using ideal template signal at the correlator, these impairments degrade overall performance attributed to low level of coherence. To increase the degree of coherence, our proposed scheme realizes A3U system derived by Gaussian pulse signal, which simulates the overall characteristic of transfer function in between transmit and receive wideband antennas so as to generate an appropriate template signal in a form of output. The performance of proposed scheme will be shown in results from computer simulations to verify its affirmative impact on impulse communication system with regarding several distinctively shaped antennas.

공공시설 자산관리는 기존의 대응적 유지보수 개념의 시설물유지관리체계에서 예방적 유지보수 개념으로 전환한 시설물 유지보수의 새로운 개념이다. 기존에 운영되고 있는 공공시설관리 시스템들을 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서는 자산관리 모형이 표준화되어 범정부EA 지원시스템에 목표아키텍처로 등록되고 더 나아가서는 범정부 표준시스템으로 만들어 필요한 기관에 보급할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 공공시설 자산관리 정보시스템을 구축하는데 필수적인 참조모델을 시스템의 상호운영성과 정보의 호환성을 확보하기 용이하도록 범정부EA 관점에서 제시하였다. 제시한 자산관리 참조모델이 GEAP에 등록 관리 된다면 이것을 바탕으로 타 기관에서 향후 정보시스템을 구축할 때 사전에 파악하고 활용하도록 제안 할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this research is to investigate a way to increase interoperability between information systems. We proposed a technical reference model (TRM) and a standard profile (SP) that are components of ITA as tools to secure information system interoperability. First, we composed TRM by choosing technology field that need standardization for information system interoperability. And, we choose standards to apply in each technology field of TRM as a interoperability common SP.
