In the present study, we analyzed plans and outcomes on the information society and Information technology in education in the European Union to provide implications for national policy in Korea. For this, we examined a political program of the European Union, called the eEurope initiative, as well as programs of the eLearning Initiative. Particularly, we analyzed European Union e-learning policy and discussed its implications for national convergence in Korea. In addition, we offer four suggestions for Korean policy on the information technology in education after analyzing outcomes, issues, and directions related to the European Union's policy.

최근 Ma에 의한 한 연구는 국 ${\cdot}$ 내 외에서 상당한 관심을 불러일으키고 있다. 미국의 수학교육, 특히 초등 수학 교육 현장의 근본적인 문제점을 명확히 지적했기 때문일 것이다. 본 글에서는 그의 연구를 개략적으로 소개한다. 특히, 그의 연구로부터 교사의 교과 내용에 관한 정확한 이해와 지식이 얼마나 중요한지 주목하여, 우리 나라의 수학교육에 관한 시사점을 교사 교육과 교사 재교육 등의 측면에서 도출한다.

This study examines internationalization index of higher education to draw implications for South Korea. To this end, this study first introduces the concept of internationalization of higher education, followed by the background of the development of internationalization index. Then examined are two internationalization index of higher education: one developed by American Council Education (ACE) and the other developed by OECD, which is known as IQRP (International Quality Review Process). ACE's international index of higher education is useful to governments when they assess the process of internationalization of universities. IQRP, on the other hand, is useful to universities and colleges when they evaluate their status of internationalization. Drawn implications are (1) it is important for universities to build a clear goal and implement appropriate strategies of internationalization, (2) policies on internationalization of higher education should concentrate on contents rather than forms, and (3) the efforts for internationalizing higher education should be made along with the efforts for improving the quality of education.

인공지능과 소프트웨어가 중요한 역할을 하는 시대가 되었고, 이를 학생들에게 교육하여 미래의 AI/SW 인재를 양성하는 것에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 해외 주요국에서는 이러한 시대적 흐름에 맞추어 AI/SW 분야의 인재 양성을 위해 노력하고 있으며, 국내에서도 여러 부처에서 관련된 다양한 정책을 시행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SW교육 관련 소셜미디어와 언론 데이터를 수집하고 이를 분석하여 국내 AI/SW교육에 대한 시사점을 제시하려고 한다. 이를 위해 2014년부터 2018년까지 총 5개년도의 데이터를 수집하고, 네트워크 분석 방법을 활용하여 연도별 SW교육의 흐름, 주요 등장 키워드, 연관 검색어들을 파악하였다. 이를 활용하여 미래의 AI/SW 교육 정책 수립 및 개선을 위한 시사점을 모색해보고자 한다.

This study aims to provide suggestions for improving national curriculum monitoring system. To achieve this goal, we analyzed the Korean national curriculum monitoring system in terms of actual problems and challenges faced by school teachers, and drew criteria for analyzing overseas curriculum monitoring system. Based on the criteria, we investigated the Australian and Singaporean national curriculum monitoring system. We especially carried out interviews with school teachers, principals, officials in Ministry of Education, and tried to identify the actual condition of curriculum monitoring system beyond superficial investigation of them. The results of this study provide four suggestions such as integrated way of monitoring, multi-way open system, and substantial approach into monitoring operation which will lead into meeting with the purpose of the monitoring system of national curriculum.
