  • In this study, it was accomplished the analysis of apartment house shape and the work factor productivity of the form work for the application of rational construction cost in apartment house. The form work is highly depended on the manpower in frame construction, and it has been a high impact during estimating of frame work cost.

  • In this study, it was accomplished to analyze the productivity and manpower through the activity of rebar work for the application of rational construction cost in apartment house. And the rebar work is very important in the view of the expense and safety, and durability in the construction of R/C structure. Also the rebar work is very affected with productivity owing to the lack of manpower and materials cost rise.

  • Few studies on crew productivity has been conducted, although the data is significant for time and cost estimation. Crew productivity data was collected for over 9 months from a nuclear power plant and analysed in order to identify factors driving the productivity. It was revealed that the crew productivity of form work, rebar work and concrete pouring work was 45.64(㎡/crew·day), 2.93(t/crew·day), 110.25(㎡/crew·day) on average respectively. Moreover, 'nightwork', 'No. of workers per crew' and 'total work amount' were identified as drivers.

  • When various construction types of architectural construction are proceeded in order, the reinforced concrete construction is the frame construction which takes up the most important proportion among the construction process. Thus, the analysis of the effectiveness and productivity of the reinforced concrete construction is necessarily needed for smooth performance of construction projects. However, the conventional studies are performing the analysis of the productivity of only part(mould and steel) of the reinforced concrete construction and they have limitation in that they do not propose quantitatively the overall productivity of reinforced concrete construction.

  • Over the past 20 years, Researchers have tried to develop "Integration Model of Cost and Schedule" in construction industry. They suggested various models and techniques, however, it is still required to develop new methodology for AL Form Work in Public Multi-Housing Projects. Accordingly, this research focused on measuring quantity take-offs of on-going projects and analysing the basic process of using the resources(Labor, Material, Plant) related to cost and time data. There are 3 steps of this research : 1) The literature review of previous studies about Integration Model of Cost and Schedule was conducted. 2) Model for integration between cost and schedule was developed. 3) the accuracy of developed model was verified. The results are expected to improve in integrated managing the cost and schedule data of AL form work.

  • Compared to the other industries, construction industry depends many parts of production activities on manpower. And also 3D perception on construction industry and the shortage of motivation in construction workers are the biggest reason to reduce construction productivity. So to solve this problem, the research of factors which affect more to improve the construction workers attitude in construction site will be needed. This research has investigated that the productivity and important factors was divided to economic factors, social factors, psychological factors. The result show that economic factors remain pre-eminent in influencing productivity, but that social factors and psychological factors appear to be of increasing importance in this construction industry.

  • A standard of estimation is used as a basis for estimating the predetermined amount of public construction. However, they raise several points of reasonable labor to be presented to a standard of estimation. For this reason, it is difficult to make a reasonable and efficient estimation of the costs, and this situation presents an urgent need for an accurate way of making such a calculation.This study analyzed the productivity of reinforced concrete work by the CYCLONE model, and the estimated optimal labor through sensitivity analysis, and presented the model on the number of optimal labor through sensitivity analysis.

  • The productivity is the one of the primary elements to evaluate the new systems performance for building construction along with the economic efficiency, the safety, and the quality improvement. At present the on-site construction automation systems(we will call it as Construction Factory or CF hereafter) is under the development by research group for construction automation of high-rise building. The system includes many sub-systems such as a robotic crane, a construction factory, bolting robots, a building material management system using RFID and so on. In this study we discuss and propose the method to evaluate for these hybrid on-site automation system fundamentally. In future we devise a framework of evaluation modules for the on-site building automation system on the basis of this discuss.

  • Because steel frame has own characteristics as easy to work and structural safety, it is being increased application by the trend of construction industry has been more higher and larger in today. However, steel frame works have potential problem, so fundamental solution is needed for preventing serious accidents. Recently, self-supported steel joint for enhancing safety is developed in Korea, but this system has some limitations as convenience of work, retainment of consistent productivity. For complementing this limitations, we developed the new system named Automated wire control machine. This study is performed productivity of steel frame work by new system. The basis data for analysing productivity is collected from field test.

  • Productivity is an important factor of the construction's success and growth. However, compared to the other industries, the study of productivity in the construction industry is still insufficient. Even though the Cast-in-Place piles work is also important in construction process, the research on the productivity is not enough. So, it is necessary for the systematic research on the productivity of Cast-In-Place Piles Work. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to classify lower productivity's cause and find a way to improve these situations. This study will give the checklist for the further study of factoring and improvement of the Cast-in-Place piles work productivity.
