Development of a Height Adjustment Method of Prefabricated Individual Footing for the Leveling of Unit Modular Structural System (유닛모듈러 건축구조물의 수평 정밀도 확보를 위한 Pre-Fab 독립기초 높이조절 공법 개발)

  • In the unit modular construction, the unit module prefabricated in a factory with a high level of accuracy does not fit completely onto the ground-joint junction due to the low accuracy of the ground work. This difference in the level of accuracy can cause diverse problems, such as twisting the upper unit modules and loosening the connection between the module and the footing. On this background, the aim of this study is to develop a technique for adjusting the height of the prefabricated individual footing. To accomplish the aim, a height adjustment method using bolts and nuts is proposed, and a shop drawing and the construction sequence are also presented in this study. The structural safety is verified through a structure simulation. In the future, research will be conducted on a mock-up test of the height adjustment method developed in this study, and an analysis of economic feasibility will be performed in order to verify its constructability and usability.

  • Because the regulation for a noise and a vibration in our country has been being reinforced more and more, a more environment-friendly pile construction method than a current low-noise and low-vibration method was needed for the close construction in the downtown area. In this study, the characteristics of a screw concrete pile method for noise and vibration-free method was explained, and it's vertical bearing capacity was studied in the base of the static pile load test data of the screw concrete piles. Constructed by two methody; a pre-digging shoe type construction method and a toe-jetting shoe type construction method. The vertical load bearing capacity of a screw pile constructed by the former was more about 70% than that of a screw pile constructed by the latter.

  • Consolidation and remedies for slope stability were considered for the slope with additional embankment. Transferred stresses due to additional embankment were assessed by the derived formula based on elasticity theory. Available remedies for slope stability with additional embankment including JSP method, stone column method and EPS method were studied. Caution needed for using JSP method is high pressure which can result in heaving of adjacent soils. Shortages of used case and noise of construction of stone column method are also considered for the safe remedy for slope stability.

  • We will introduce a method of construction of super-block curtain wall applied to Tower Palace III which is the highest high-rise complex building in Korea. Up-up method is utilized on Tower Palace III to shorten the term of works and it is that the curtain walls for the belt wall part are installed after the rests. The belt wall structure increases the horizontal structural stiffness of the building. The method of construction of super-block curtain wall is developed and used to raise and install the curtain wails of the belt wall floor. It is that the large block of curtain walls corresponding to three stories is fabricated on the ground in advance and the block is installed at a time by a tower crane. Specialized installing equipment :,s newly developed and applied to install the super-block. curtain wail. The curtain wall of the upper floor of the belt wall part is installed after the super-block. The installing equipment for this floor is developed utilizing a mini excavator and vacuum suctions. The application of this method had made it possible to omit the setting up the scaffold and financial profits such as the shortening of the terms of works was realized. The safety of works was secured and the productivity was also improved.

  • 절토사면 보호.녹화공의 개념과 분류체계가 아직까지 확립되어 있지 않으며, 현장에서 공법의 선정과 시공도 여러 가지 적절하지 못한 경우가 자주 발생하고 있다. 이러한 것을 해결하기 위해서는 이 분야에 대한 지속적인 투자와 관심, 그리고 관련회사의 사면의 환경특성을 고려한 성실시공이 수반되어야 한다. 또한, 절토사면의 장.단기적인 유지관리를 위해서 사면의 분포현황, 사면녹화공의 시공.관리상태, 환경특성 등의 자료를 조사하여 종합적인 사면유지관리시스템과 연계해야 할 것이다.

  • 과거의 이수나 치수기능에 역점을 둔 하천개발이 국민의 하천환경에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 인공화 된 하천을 원래의 자연스러운 하천상태로 되돌리고자 하는 다각적인 노력이 모색되어 하천에 대한 복원계획을 세우고 자연형 하천공법을 개발, 적용하기 위하여 여러 기관에서 각각의 연구목적에 맞게 시험유역에 운영하고 있다. 그러나 소하천은 지역적인 특성이 두드러지고 공간적 분포와 기후적 특성이 다양하기 때문에 소하천 특성변화에 따른 지속적인 자료구축을 위해 유출 및 하도형상등 수리 수문학적 변화특성과 하천환경 특성을 분석하고 모니터링 함으로써 자연형 하천의 시공 후 발생하는 여러 가지 문제에 대한 검증과 설계 시에 세운 목표에 대해서 목표의 달성여부를 검토해야 한다. 하천정비후의 정확한 변화 상태를 검토하여 적용된 공법에 대한 타당성을 검토하여야 하며 각 분야별 세부평가 기준도 작성할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 행정자치부 선정 소하천정비 시범지구로 지정된 봉황소하천에 대해 유역의 시공전후 모니터링을 실시하여 소하천의 환경기능을 향상시킬 수 있는 소하천 정비공법 개발을 위한 지속적이고 일관성 있는 수리 수문 자료의 축적과 하천환경 개선과 향후 자연형 소하천정비 공법의 기초자료로 활용하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 대상지역인 봉황천은 전라남도 강진군에 위치하고 있으며 시범구간 약 1km에 대해 2003년부터 2006년까지 수질, 수리, 생태계 모니터링을 실시하여 시공전후로 비교하였다.

  • Noise and vibration due to pile driving cause residents nearby construction sites to file civil complaints and to the extent of bringing construction to a halt. To deal with this issue, construction engineers have worked strenuously to develop several types of low noise & low vibration pile methods. In this study, a new noise and vibration-free precast screw pile method proposed as a low noise & low vibration pile. It penetrates into the ground by rotating and pressing to avert noise and vibration while maximizing bearing capacity. A prototype of noise and vibration-free precast screw pile method was manufactured, which is not seen anywhere in Korea and elsewhere, and have undergone pilot tests twice to determine construction method. Based on this study, features of the noise & vibration-free screw pile method, production of screw concrete pile prototype, two pilot tests and subsequent construction method were determined.

  • Underground excavation for building construction in Korea is changing from conventional support method (Strut, Ground anchor) to inside permanent support method by stability, economic, circumstances around excavation and etc. This study was selected the sites of Top-down, New Top-down, S.P.S, S.T.D and B.R.D in general use. This study was compared and analyzed a construction cost and period between aforementioned methods and conventional support method. Also, this study was confirmed the stability of temporary retaining wall by analysis for measurement data under construction. As a result, this study can grasp that most improved permanent support method is excellent in economic and constructability than conventional support method in case of deep excavation and rapid appearance of bedrock.

  • The bar-shaped electrode is very popular in earth construction for its easy obtainments of the regulative grounding resistance values on power distribution systems in many countries. For these reason, a lots of researches are being proceeded on its deformation and materials. But the grounding construction has limit for improvement the grounding resistance characteristics not only by the improvement of the driven electrode, because that the grounding characteristics are very sensitive to soils(hard, soft). This study is about the construction methods on which the driven electrode can be serially or parallely connected using by hollow screw rod for obtaining the regulative grounding resistance values. The experimental results show that the grounding resistance values are reduced more than 30[%] comparing with the other construction methods under the same conditions(earth resistance, numbers of driven electrode, construction method of serial and parallel, chemicals for reducing grounding resistance, water).
