Relations between Initial Displacement Rate and Final Displacement of Arch Settlement and Convergence of a Shallow Tunnel (저심도 터널의 천단침하 및 내공변위의 초기변위속도와 최종변위의 관계)

  • It is generalized to measure the arch settlement and convergence during tunnel construction for monitoring its mechanical stability. The initial convergence rate a day is defined from the first convergence measurement and the final convergence defined as the convergence measured lastly. The initial and the final tunnel arch settlement are defined like the preceding convergence. In the study, the relations between the initial and final displacements of a shallow tunnel are analyzed. The measurements were performed in the tunnel of subway 906 construction site in Seoul. The overburden is 10-20 m and the tunnel goes through weathered soil/rock. The width and height of the tunnel are about 11.5 m, 10m, respectively. So this is a shallow tunnel in weak rock. The length of tunnel is about 1,820 m and the tunnel was constructed in 2 stages, dividing upper and lower half. The numbers of measurement locations of arch settlement and convergence are 184 and 258, respectively. As a result, the initial displacement rate and the final displacement are comparatively larger in the section of weathered soil.

Buildability of 3D Printed Concrete Structures at Various Nozzle Speeds and Aspect Ratios (노즐이동속도와 변장비에 따른 3D 프린팅 콘크리트 구조물의 시공성)

  • In this study, an experimental study on the buildability of the structure using the developed printing materials and equipment was performed. Experimental variables included the moving speed of nozzles(=80 and 100mm/s), the revolutions per minute (RPM) of screw in discharge buckets, and the aspect ratio(=1.67 and 5.00) reflecting wall length of the structures. Buildability of the 3D printed concrete structures was analyzed based on the maximum decomposition layer and collapse patterns of the structures according to the experimental variables. The nozzle movement speed of 80mm/s and the aspect ratio of 1.67 were favorable for 3D printing in this study. The collapse process of structure due to uneven layer decomposition was also analyzed through the relative displacement measurement of the lower part of the structure during printing.

Evaluation of Applicability of HWAW (Harmonic Wavelet Analysis of Waves) Method in Determining Grouting Effect in Dam and Embankment (제체 그라우팅 효과 평가를 위한 HWAW방법의 적용성 평가)

  • Dam and embankment are very important civil structures. Grouting is widely used to repair and maintain dam and embankment, and it is important to evaluate the effect of grouting for dam safety. The non-destructive method based on determination of wave velocity in the dam or embankment is effectively used to evaluate grouting effect because wave velocity is identical with stiffness and grouting increases local stiffness in a dam. In this paper, HWAW (Harmonic wavelet analysis of waves) method was applied to evaluate the grouting effect. HWAW method can determine two-dimensional shear wave velocity map with good spatial resolution and the shear velocity profile by the proposed method is sensitive to a variation of stiffness of target system. Through numerical simulation and field tests, the applicability of HWAW method in determining grouting effect is shown.

  • 최근 국내 건설현장들은 도심지 근접구간에서 발파진동피해를 최소화하기 위하여 전자뇌관을 이용한 미진동 전자발파공법 적용사례가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 미진동 전자발파는 무진동 암파쇄 대체공법으로 경제성은 우수하나 시공현장에서 진동을 제어하는 공법으로 1회 굴진장을 1m 이하로 적용하고 있어 시공속도가 저하되는 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 미진동 전자발파 수준의 진동제어와 굴착비 절감 및 시공속도를 높일 수 있는 더블데크 발파공법을 연구 및 시험을 수행하였다. 미진동 전자발파와 더블데크 전자발파 비교 시험결과 진동레벨, 발파효율, 파쇄입도, 여굴량 등이 비슷한 수준으로 평가되어 현장 적용시 굴진장 증대로 인한 공사기간 단축 및 시공비 절감이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

Sight Distance at Crest Vertical Curves Under Consideration of Construction Errors (볼록형 종단곡선에서 시공오차를 고려한 정지시거에 관한 연구)

  • This study is carried out to evaluate the sight distance change due to construction errors of vertical crest curves. Various design speeds and grades as well as various size of construction errors are incorporated in this study. After showing theoretical methodology numerical results are compared and analysed for the given ranges of parameters. New vertical curve change rate(m/%) is suggested to guarantee minimum sight distance under construction errors. As to the results, the reduction of sight distance are $2.8{\sim}21.3m$ at 120km/h, $2.0{\sim}15.1m$ at 100km/h, $1.4{\sim}10.6m$ at 80km/h, $1.0{\sim}7.5m$ at 60km/h $0.5{\sim}3.9m$ at 40km/h. Vortical curve change rates need to be increased about $6{\sim}25%$ to provide minimum stopping sight distance according to design speed.

  • Instrumented steel sheet piles being driven by vibratory pile driver were installed in granular soil deposit and behaviors of the sheet piles were investigated. One of the instrumented steel sheet pile was installed without clutch and the other was installed with clutch. Sheet pile with clutch means that of installed in connection with pre-installed sheet pile. Penetration rates of sheet piles measured from depth measuring drum has shown that interlock friction had great effect on penetration speed of sheet pile. Clutch friction shows irregular distribution along the depths of penetration and its magnitude was estimated as 19.1kN/m. According to the accelerations obtained from accelerometer, it was seen that steel sheet pile behaviored nearly as a rigid body. Efficiency factor of an isolated sheet pile was 0.42 and that of the connected sheet pile was 0.71. Shapes of dynamic load transfer curves obtained from analysis of measuring devices was similar to those suggested by Dierssen.

  • 라이닝과 굴착작업은 통상적으로 병행작업이 되며, 라이닝은 시공속도가 빠르기 때문에 공기는 주로 굴착 속도에 지배된다. 그러나 소단면/원형단면 터널에서는 작업 공간확보문제 등 제반조건에 따라 굴착과 라이닝 작업이 분리되어 라이닝 공정이 전체 공기에 커다란 영향을 끼치는 경우도 있다. 라이닝 콘크리트의 타설시기는 계측에 의해 원지반의 변위가 수렴된 것을 확인한 후 하는 것이 원칙이다. 따라서 NATM 에서는 전단면 라이닝이 일반적이다. 본 고에서는 라이닝 설비로서 사용되는 타설설비, 운반설비, 형틀설비의 총 3편으로 나누어 라이닝 기계에 대하여 설명하도록 한다.

  • 매스 콘크리트 구조물에서는 콘크리트 타설 후 시멘트의 수화열로 인한 온도응력에 의해서 온도균열의 발생 가능성이 매우 높다. 따라서, 매스 콘크리트 시공시, 온도균열을 구조물의 내구성 관점에서 최대한 억제시킬 필요가 있다. 최근에는 국내에서도 단위시멘트량이 많은 배합을 이용하는 고강도 콘크리트 구조물의 시공이 증가되고 있다. 이와 같은 매스 콘크리트 구조물은 단위시멘트량이 많기 때문에 부재내 수화열에 의한 온도의 상승 속도가 빠르기 때문에 시공에 앞서 사전에 설계, 재료 및 시공 측면에서 온도균열 제어 대책을 검토할 필요가 있다.(중략)

  • 정전기발생은 물질의 성질, 이동속도, 절연성을 갖는다는 것이 정전기를 축적하는 조건이 된다. 물체의 이도속도가 클수록 정전기의 발생량이 커지게 된다. 접속면의 크기 및 표면의 상태도 정전기의 발생량에 관계한다. 접속면이 크고 상호간에 양물체가 격하게 운동하는 조건일때 정전기의 발생량이 커지게 된다.
