The critical role of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) in tumorigenesis led to the development of several first- and second-generation Hsp90 inhibitors, which have demonstrated promising responses in cancers. In this study, we found second-generation Hsp90 inhibitor BIIB021-resistant multidrug-resistant (MDR) human cancer cells, although BIIB021 was shown to be active in first-generation Hsp90 inhibitor 17-allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (17-AAG)-resistant MDR cells. MCF7-MDR and HeyA8- MDR cells were more resistant to BIIB021 than their parental counterparts, indicating that BIIB021 cannot be applicable to all cancer cells expressing MDR proteins. We revealed that dimethyl-celecoxib (DMC), one of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), potentiated cytotoxicity of BIIB021 against both BIIB021-resistant and BIIB021-sensitive MDR cells. The effectiveness of NSAIDs involving celecoxib and DMC in combination with BIIB021 led to the autophagic degradation/down-regulation of mutant p53 (mutp53) that overexpressed MDR cells and the suppression of Hsp70 induction. This resulted in sensitization of MDR cells to BIIB021. Moreover, autophagy induction by sulindac sulfide, another type of NSAID, and niclosamide, an FDA-approved anthelmintic drug, potentiated 17-AAG-mediated autophagic degradation/down-regulation of mutp53 and c-Myc, client proteins of Hsp90. Therefore, our results suggest that NSAIDs and niclosamide positively enhance the anticancer activity of Hsp90 inhibitors through an autophagic pathway. They may also be new candidates for sensitizing MDR cells to Hsp90 inhibitors.

Nitrogen charging trailer applied to KUH-1 is a device to charge Nitrogen in main front wheel buffer, tail bumper buffer, brake accumulator and tire of aircraft. As the name suggests, it is a device that has mobility along with nitrogen charging. Originally supplied by Tronair in the United States, it was imported from Korea, and the locally developed product not only satisfies the performance of the existing product, but also designed to be easier than the product introduced in the operation. It was selected as the joint investment project of the 15th civilian government building, and development needs analysis and test evaluation were carried out under the support of development and management of Korea Aerospace Industries and Defense Agency for Technology and Quality.

FSC는 상시지방적을 보유하는 특성을 가지고 있으므로 지방섭취세포(fat-storing cell, FSC)라고 명명되어으며 유동에 노출하는 성세포, 내피세포와 달리 이 세포의 유동면은 교원직유와 내피세포에서 유래하는 윤랑선에 의하여 피복된다. 더욱이 이 세포는 각종 척추동물에 존재한다는 사실이 확인 되었으며 그 지방적은 동물의 종류에 따라 특유한 형을 구비하는 동시에 개체차가 없다. FSC는 이물탐식성이 없으며 지방적을 함유한 성세포와는 위치적, 기능적으로 다르다는 것이 증명되었다. 발생학적으로는 간엽세포에 속하며 유사분제에 의하여 증식능력을 가지고 있다. 이 세포에는 glycogen이 증명되며 모든 지방세포의 실험이 나타나는 성적에서와 유사하게 항시 지방을 합성하여 종의 특유한 형을 가진 지방적으로서 저장됨을 시사하였다. 전현적관륜에 의하여 FSC가 유동주위강(disse腔) 속에 있어 성세포, 내피세포와는 달리 유동에 노출하지 않고 항상 내피세포층과 교원직유에 의하여 유동에서 격리됨을 추정하였다. 이로 인하여 많은 학자들에 의하여 FSC가 승인을 받았다. 오늘날에는 유동을 둘러싸고 있는 상재세포가 내피세포, 성세포 및 FSC의 3종임이 인증이 되었다. 이 세포의 미세구조상의 특징은 기저막이 없는 공허한 세포로 보이나 항상지방적(空胞)을 보유하고 잘 발달한 조면소포체를 가지며 유동내피면에 따라 분기확산하는 돌기를 가지고 있다. 그리고 세포체는 유동주위강을 달리는 무수신경직유의 varicosity (사립체 및 신경결합소포를 함유한 신경종말)와의 사이에 adrenalin 작동성 synaps를 형성한다. FSC의 기능적 의의는 ㄱ, 간소엽내 교원직유형성에 참여 ㄴ. 유동내피하 돌기는 내피를 외측에서 지지하고 보강하며 또한 유동을 둘러싸고 연장하는 돌기는 수축하여 유동강을 축소한다. ㄷ. 지방을 저장하여 간세포의 energe원을 공급하며 VitaminA를 그 속에 저장한다. ㄹ. 간의 해독작용에 관여한다.

The Kyoto Mechanisms allows a supplementary means for compliance, CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) and JI(Joint Implementation) projects. The investment in CDM projects is increasing rapidly as the first implementation period began in 2008. This paper seeks to determine factors affecting the price of primary CER using UNFCCC CDM Project Development Document(PDD) data. This study employs the Cluster analysis and the GLS(Generalized Least Squares) method.

The scatting problem by E-polarized plane wave with obique incidence on a tapered resistive strip grating with zero resistivity(perfectly conducting) at strip-edges is analyzed by the method of moments in the spectral domain. Then the induced surface current density on the strip is expanded in a series of Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind. The expasion coefficients are calculated numerically in the spectral domain, the numerical results of the geometric-optical reflection coefficient for the tapered resistivity in this paper are compared with those for the existing uniform resistivity. And the position of sharp variation points in the magnitude of the geometric-optical reflection coefficient can be moved by varying the incident angle and the strip spacing, It is found out that these sparp variation points are due to the transition of higher mode between the propagation mode and the evanescent mode.

The purpose of international cooperation for launch vehicle between Ukraine and Brazil was to launch Ukraine's Cyclone-4 launch vehicles at the Alcantara cosmodrome in Brazil. Ukraine and Brazil have prepared this cooperation since 1999 and established a joint venture. However, the first launch has been postponed several times. Because it took a lot of time and efforts to negotiate, sign and ratify the cooperation agreement and to regulate the protection of technology transfer to the third countries. Thus, the administrative affairs and diplomatic steps as well as the technical matters should be considered to prepare international cooperation for launch vehicles.

국제해사기구(International Maritime Organization)는 선박 평형수로 인하여 발생하는 환경문제를 방지하기 위하여 지난 2004년 선박 평형수 관리 협약을 제정하였고, 2016년 핀란드의 비준함에 따라 2017년 9월 8일부터 발효될 예정이다. 이 협약에 대응하기 위하여 선박 평형수 처리기술이 개발되어 승인이 되었다. 이중 수중방전을 이용한 기술은 화학약품의 첨가 등이 없어 경제적이고 내부에서 발생하는 OH라디컬, 자외선, 충격파, 전기장, 오존 등에 다양한 요소들에 의하여 수처리가 가능하고, 중화를 위한 첨가제 등이 필요없어 친환경적이다. 본 연구에서는 부산 항만 근처연안에서 채취한 바닷물을 대상으로 수중방전을 이용한 방법을 연구하였다. 실험방법은 그림1과 같이 Point to Point 방식의 전극을 꾸몄고, 용액은 1L이며, 전압은 8kV, 30kHZ로 가해주었다. 광학분석장비(OES)를 이용하여 수중방전시 발생되는 빛 분석을 하였다. 실험결과 OES분석 결과 살균작용하는 OH 라디컬이 발생하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 실험 도중 시료를 채취하여 $35^{\circ}C$ 48시간동안 배양하였다. 배양 결과 시간이 경과함에 따라 미생물의 개체가 그림 2와 같이줄어두는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Since the first commercial GM plant, the FlavrSavr tomato, authorized in 1994, more than 140 GM plants were authorized for marketing globally. For the authorization and labelling of GM plants, the detection methods for genes introduced and proteins expressed in GM plants were developed qualitatively and quantitatively. This review presented the detection methods, conventional PCR, multiplex PCR and real-time PCR, for soybean, maize, canola and cotton as the dominant GM plants. Also, microarray assay and nanotechnology as new approaches for detection methods for GM plants were investigated.

Tracheal bronchus is an aberrant, accessory or ectopic bronchus arising almost invariably from the right lateral wall of the trachea and may be related to inflammatory conditions affecting the lung, including recurrent pneumonia, bronchiectasis. Recently we experienced a case of tracheal bronchus associated with pulmonary actinomycosis. The 37-year-old male patient had suffered recurrent hemoptysis and had been medicated as a presumptive diagnosis of tuberculosis, but either clinical or radiologic improvement was not seen. Right upper lobectomy was performed and pulmonary actinomycosis was confirmed by the histologic examination. Postoperatively, the patient was medicated with penicillin and ampicillin for 3 months and completely recovered without any evidence of recurrence during the 6month follow-up period.
