Optimized Design of Wideband Microstrip Slot Antenna with Reverse L-shaped Feedline (역 L-형 급전구조를 갖는 광대역 마이크로 스트립 슬롯 안테나의 최적화 설계)

  • T-모양의 급전구조를 갖는 마이크로스트립 슬롯 안테나는 정합을 쉽게 이룰 수 있고, 대역 폭이 기존의 슬롯을 가로지르는 급전구조에 비하여 넓었다. 본 논문에서는 역 L-형 마이크로스트립 급전구조를 제안하여 FDTD(Finite Difference Time Domain)법으로 해석하여 안테나를 최적화 설계하였다. 슬롯 폭이 16 mm일 때, 전압 정재파비가 2.0 이하인 조건에서 대역폭은 2.3 GHz를 중심으로 약 48 % 정도의 광대역 특성을 얻었다. 제안된 급전구조는 기존의 슬롯 가로지르는 급전구조의 복사 저항보다 매우 낮았다. 또한 역 L-형 급전구조의 대역폭 특성을 기존의 급전구조의 슬롯릇 안테나들과 비교하였다.

Design of the Non-Resonant SWG Antenna with Double Slots in the Narrow Wall of Rectangular Waveguide (구형 도파관의 협벽에 이중 슬롯을 가진 비공진형 슬롯 도파관 안테나의 설계)

  • In this paper, the non-resonant SWG(Slotted Waveguide) antenna with double slots in narrow wall of rectangular waveguide is designed. Because energy radiated from each slot depends upon inclination angle of slot of the designed antenna, inclination angle of each slot is controlled to satisfy the amplitude distribution for required sidelobe level. Instead of the conventional extraction method of slot conductance, this amplitude distribution is made by the proposed method, which employs far-field radiation pattern calculated by Fourier transform of aperture field distribution on slot. The non-resonant double SWG antenna is designed by the proposed method and is manufactured. The antenna performances are measured and compared with the simulated results.

  • 본 논문에서 로프리스 엘리베이터용 영구자석형(PM) 선형동기전동기(LSM)의 디텐트력을 저감하기 위하여 반응표면법(RSM)을 이용한 디텐트력의 최소화 설계 방법을 제안하였다. RSM을 이용하여 정수 슬롯형과 분수 슬롯형 PM-LSM의 설계변수를 추론하고 유한요소법(FEM)으로 디텐트력을 구하였다. 반응표면법과 유한요소법의 해석결과를 토대로 분수 슬롯형 PM-LSM이 주어진 체적의 엘리베이터 시스템에 적합한 형상임을 입증한다.

Experimental Study of the Fire Behavior of CFT Columns in Relation to the Sectional Shape & Size (단면형상 및 크기에 따른 콘크리트 충전강관(CFT) 기둥의 화재거동에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, fire resistance tests were conducted to evaluate the fire resistance performance of unprotected and non-welded CFT columns in relation to the shape and size of cross-sections. Unprotected slot-type CFT columns which were ${\square}300$ and ${\square}500$ in dimensions resisted fire for 125 minutes and more than 180 minutes, respectively. Strain analysis showed that slot-type CFT columns were more ductile than welded CFT columns. The temperatures of central parts measured when welded CFT columns and slot-type CFT columns had lost fire resistance performance were higher in the former than the latter. Therefore, slot connection does not a great influence on the temperatures inside the concrete.

  • 슬롯이 있는 직사각형 마이크로스트립 안테나의 이중주파수 동작 특성을 연구하였다. 마이크로스트립 안테나의 급전방식은 전자기적으로 결합된 단일 마이크로스트립 안테나이며, 패치구조는 직사각형 패치의 대각선 방향에 "ㄱ"형 슬롯을 대칭으로 배치시켰다. 본 논문에서 제안된 "ㄱ"형 슬롯의 장점으로는 패치의 크기를 줄이는 효과와 동시에 이중 대역의 주파수를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 제안된 마이크로스트립 안테나의 반사손실은 S11에서 -10 dB 기준으로 첫 번째 공진점 4.808 ㎓ 에서는 120 MHz의 대역폭을 가졌고, 두 번째 공진점 6.175 GHz 에서는 100 MHz의 대역폭을 가졌다.는 100 MHz의 대역폭을 가졌다.

  • This study aims to analyze the effects of design parameters of the slotted cooling liner for air-breathing propulsion system. The three kinds of design parameters of the slotted cooling liner were selected and were investigated effect on the cooling performance of the slotted cooling liner. In this paper calculation results for inner wall temperature of cooling liner from heat transfer calculations were presented.

  • Film cooling is used to protect thermally the inner wall of combustion chamber exposed to hot gas in air-breathing propulsion system and specially film cooling using slotted cooling liner has been investigated to improve the cooling characteristics for a long time. In this paper results from gas dynamic and heat transfer calculations were presented in the combustion area and cooling area of multi-slotted cooling liner.

  • In a bursty user traffic mode, ALOHA random multiple access protocol achieves higher performance than any conventional fixed assignment technique. One of central problems in slotted ALOHA is synchronization. Because of the long propagation delay in satellite mobile communication, packet may be spilt over into adjacent slots and thus guard time may be included between packet intervals. In conventional ALOHA channels, simultaneous transmission by two or more users results in a collision : the unsuccessful packets have to be retransmitted according to some retransmission algorithm. However, in a radio environment, users are often at different distances from the receiver : therefore, their received signals have substantially different power levels. The packet arriving with the highest energy now has a good chance of being detected accurately. Similarly, in some spread-spectrum random access systems, the earliest arriving packet dominates later arriving packets and thus captures the channel. In this paper slotted ALOHA channel with non zero guard time and capture probability is studied. Using the Markovian model, the performance of slotted ALOHA with guard time and capture effects is derived and compared with that of the conventional ALOHA via numerical analysis.

Flow Characteristics with Distance between Solid Propellant Grain and Igniter (고체 추진제와 점화기 간 간격에 따른 유동 특성)

  • Flow analysis using computational fluid dynamics was conducted to investigate the effect of the igniter flame caused by the gap between the igniter and the propellant grain in a solid rocket motor. Two propellant grain types were assumed; namely cylinder type (1 mm, 3 mm, and 5 mm gap) and the slot type. The slot type had two igniter hole locations. One was located at the small gap of the propellant grain, and the other one was located at the large gap. In the case of the cylinder type, the pressure in the igniter zone was higher with a thinner gap. Additionally, in the case of the cylinder type, the pressure difference between the igniter installed zone and the free volume was also higher as the gap became lower. The cylinder types were affected by the gap distance, but the slot types were not. Moreover, the results of the slot types were similar to the 5-mm gap case of the cylinder type.
