Spectator's Value Cognition and Expected-benefit Factors on Professional Baseball Sportstar (프로야구 스포츠스타에 대한 관람자의 가치인식과 추구혜택)

  • The purpose of this study was to find spectator's value cognition and expected-benefit factors on professional baseball sportstar. Purposeful Sampling method was used to select among fan club leaders and people who had watched baseball games over ten years 8 informants who watched more than 4 times in 6 baseball games in 2011 Lotte Card Professional Baseball League. Data collection relies on focus group interviews and in-depth interviews. Text analysis was attempted to adopt the A-R-C needs theory proposed by Thomson(2006) for spectator's value cognition and the metaphors for consuming by Holt(1995) for expected-benefit factors. The research summary is as follow: Spectator's value cognition on professional baseball sportstar were an object of entertainment-oriented value, a major figure for social relationship-oriented and an object of identical. Spectator's expected-benefit factors on professional baseball sports tar were confirmation of values and heroic orientation. Meanwhile, spectator who had entertainment-oriented value cognition on professional baseball sportstar expect heroic orientation, who recognize professional baseball sportstar a major figure for social relationship-oriented and an object of identical pursue confirmation of values.

Trends in the use of big data and artificial intelligence in the sports field (스포츠 현장에서의 빅데이터와 인공지능 활용 동향)

  • This study analyzed the recent trends in the sports environment to which big data and AI technologies, which are representative technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and approached them from the perspective of convergence of big data and AI technologies in the sports field. And the results are as follows. First, it is being used for player and game data analysis and team strategy establishment and operation. Second, by combining big data collected using GPS, wearable equipment, and IoT with artificial intelligence technology, scientific physical training for each player is possible through user individual motion analysis, which helps to improve performance and efficiently manage injuries. Third, with the introduction of an AI-based judgment system, it is being used for judge judgment. Fourth, it is leading the change in marketing and game broadcasting services. The technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution is bringing innovative changes to all industries, and the sports field is also in the process. The combination of big data and AI is expected to play an important role as a key technology in the rapidly changing future in a sports environment where scientific analysis and training determine victory or defeat.

  • 인터넷을 통해 정보에 대한 접근이 쉬워진 요즘, 스포츠를 보더라도 경기만 시청하는 것이 아니라 경기 정보 분석 등을 함께 본다. 이때, 대부분의 기존 스포츠 중계 서비스는 하나의 스크린에서 모든 정보를 전달하기 때문에 가독성이 떨어지고 영상과 정보를 같이 보기에 어렵다. 본 프로젝트는 멀티스크린을 이용해 다양한 스포츠 정보를 각각의 스크린에 나타내줌으로써 사용자에게 기능적인 편리함과 정리된 콘텐츠를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 이에 멀티스크린을 위한 연결을 구축하고, 스크린을 통해 해외축구 콘텐츠를 제공하는 기능을 설명한다.

  • In recent years, women's monetary rewards in golf increased and their performances have improved significantly compared to other sports. Sports marketing has become more active in Asia and the number of Korean players in LPGA with good scores are increasing. For these reasons, golf is becoming increasingly popular. The prize money is higher than in other sports and the economic benefits are increasing due to the financial incentives such as sponsorships. Many of these prospects actively affect women's golf. Certain rookies continue to increase and their performances improve day by day. In this study, I analyze the changes in performance over time of last 5 years from 2009 using growth curve analysis. According to the results of analysis, driving distance and average putting skills developed but green in regulation decreased.

  • Recently, in the field of sports, the use of data in conducting games, planning seasons, and operating teams has increased significantly. Also, in order to develop better players, it has become necessary to use data to accurately analyze their performance. Therefore, in this study, various data about rookie players was collected and pre-processed in order to analyze and visualize their performance. Additionally, an analysis was conducted to determine at least how many opportunities should be given to foster rookie players. Then, a data analysis method was presented for nurturing athletes by using data in the field of sports. It is expected that this study will contribute to fostering rookie players by utilizing data.

  • 다양한 객체 추적 기술들이 스포츠 분야에 활용이 되면서, 방송이나 경기력 분석에 많이 사용되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 2014년도 K리그 경기중 승패가 결정된 17경기를 동영상 경기 분석 프로그램으로 처리된 데이터를 활용하여 뛴 거리와 경기 승패와의 관련성에 대해서 통계적으로 분석한다. 뛴거리는 총 뛴거리, 점유시 뛴거리, 비점유시 뛴거리로 나누어 분석하고, 그 결과 비점유시 뛴거리의 차이가 경기의 승패에 영향을 준다는 것을 카이검정을 통해 확인하였다.

The Relationship between Lifestyle Sports Leader's Leadership Style and Badminton Club Member's Performance: A Self-Efficacy Mediating Effect (생활스포츠 지도자 리더십유형과 배드민턴 동호인의 경기력 관계: 자기효능감 매개효과 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between the leadership style of badminton life sports leaders and the performance of club members. A total of 600 badminton club members were invited to participate and 593 were selected for this study. For data analysis, mediating effects were verified through frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. For result section, first, it was found that training instruction behavior, authoritative behavior, and social behavior, which are sub-factors of the leader leadership type, have a positive effect on performance(p<.05). Second, it was found that training instruction behavior, which is a sub-factor of leader leadership type, had a positive effect on self-efficacy(p<.01), and that authoritarian behavior had a negative effect on self-efficacy(p<.01). Third, the mediating effect of self-efficacy was found indirectly in the relationship between leader leadership and performance(p<.001). Based on these results, it is judged that it will be easier to build a more effective training system if the direction for the leadership and guidance type of life sports is set by reflecting the needs of the participants.

Analysis of Scoring Difficulty in Different Match Situations in Relation to First Athlete to Score in World Taekwondo Athletes (세계태권도 겨루기 선수들의 선제득점에 따른 경기 내용별 득점 난이도 분석)

  • This study analyzed the difficulty of scoring in different match situations in relation to which competitor scored first. The study analyzed the data from the 2022 Guadalajara World Taekwondo Championships. The analysis was performed for two separate weight classes: lightweight and heavyweight. Four game content variables were used: whether the athlete scored first, attack type, attack area, and game situation. Descriptive statistics, the Rasch model, and discrimination function questions were applied for data processing. SPSS and Winsteps were used for the statistical analysis, and the statistical significance level was set at 0.05. Consequently, in the lightweight class, the scoring frequency of the first scorer was high for all the game variables. In the heavyweight class, the scoring frequency for the first scorer was high for the attack type and attack area. By contrast, those who did not score first were more frequently found to be in a loss situation. By analyzing the scoring difficulties in different match situations based on whether the competitor scored first, the athletes who scored first in attack type most easily scored first. In losing situations, the athletes who scored first in attack area scored most easily, whereas those who did not score first scored most easily in body and match situations. For the heavyweight class, those who scored first in terms of attack type, counter-attack, and attack area scored the most easily while winning in body and match situations.

  • Sports event is core product of sports business and the scale of sports event business is steadily increasing. For the successful operation of sports events, it is necessary to analyze the stackholder in stage according to the Function Area(FA) in the process of hosting / preparation / operation. This study is a study to define stakeholder by analyzing sports event process of sports events horizontally and vertically. This study consists of three categories : 1) investigation, 2) analysis and systematization of core processes, 3) analysis stakeholder. As a result of the analysis, the core stakeholders in the stage of hosting(bid) were analyzed as local organizations and committees including the promotion TF team, government organizations, domestic and foreign competition associations, national and international sports organizations (committees), and bid committees. Stakeholders in the stage of preparation / operation include stakeholders from organizational committees, various sports committees, international organizations and international organizations, governments and local governments, related companies and businesses, media, sponsors, donors or volunteers, athletes, teams and spectators.
