이승엽이 8년간의 일본 프로야구 생활을 정리하고 돌아왔다. 그는 "아쉬움보다 시원하다."고 입을 열었다. 시실 이승엽은 일본생활을 더 이어갈 수 있었다. 지난 2010년 12월 1년간 연봉 1억 5천만 엔을 받고 오릭스 유니폼을 입었지만 발표와 달리 유효기간이 2년이었던 까닭이다. 한국행은 보장된 연봉을 포기한 새로운 도전인 셈. 그가 미소를 지으며 국내 리그로 복귀하는 진짜 이유는 무엇일까. 이승엽을 만나 솔직한 심정을 들어봤다.

마닐라에서 동남쪽으로 560Km 떨어진 곳에 위치한 세부 섬은 필리핀에서도 가장 오래된 거리나 성벽, 기념비 등이 남아 있어 역사의 향기가 물씬 풍기는 곳이다. 섬이지만 산악 리조트와 골프 코스가 구비되어 육지에서 누릴 수 있는 재미도 함께 느낄 수 있고, 해안에는 세계적인 최상급 리조트와 부대시설들이 잘 갖춰져 있어 편리한 휴양을 즐길 수 있다. 에메랄드빛 바다와 하얀 모래사장 외에도 스노크링, 스쿠버다이빙 등 각종 해양 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 장소가 풍부하고, 세부 시내로 들어가면 옛 스페인 통치 시대 때의 유물들이 남아 있어 역사를 음미해 볼 수 있는 시간도 가질 수 있다.

당뇨병성 족부질환은 크게 당뇨병성 족부 혈관병증, 당뇨병성 족부 신경병증, 당뇨병성 족부궤양 등으로 나누어지며, 당뇨병환자에서 하지에 궤양 및 괴사가 발생 위험도는 정상인에 비하여 15~17배나 높다. 이러한 당뇨병성 족부질환을 제대로 치료하지 않으면 발의 일부나 전부를 절단하게 되며, 외상에 의한 절단을 제외하면 하지 절단의 가장 주요한 원인이 된다. 당뇨병성 족부질환으로 인해 불가피하게 절단이 되었다 하더라도 수술 직후부터 적극적인 약물치료 및 재활치료는 정상인과 거의 동일하게 일상생활 수행 및 독립보행이 가능하며, 스포츠를 포함한 여가활동까지 가능하다.

발레에 대해 문외한인 사람들조차 그 선율은 들어봤을 정도로 <백조의 호수>는 유명한 작품이다. 차이콥스키의 서정적인 바이올린 선율은 매우 아름다원 신화의 'T.O.P'와 같은 대중음악에서도 샘플링 할 정도이다. 하지만 단지 음악만 아름다웠다면 이 음악을 듣고 사람들이 하얀색 튀튀(tutu)를 입은 발레리나의 모습을 떠올리진 않을 것이다. <백조의 호수>는 음악과 인체로 표현할 수 있는 아름다움의 극치를 보여주는 발레 작품이기 때문에 사람들의 뇌리에 깊이 각인된 것이다. 오늘날 클래식 발레가 환상적인 예술로 거듭날 수 있게 된 데에는 수많은 예술가의 노력과 함께 과학의 뒷받침이 있었기에 가능한 것이다. 인간의 한계를 초월하기 위해 스포츠 과학의 힘이 필요하듯 인체 예술의 극한을 보여주기 위해 발레에도 과학이 필요한 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a competency model by career type by designing the specified career paths through the analysis of career experience of the athletes in the professional sports field. For this purpose, career types were identified as sports administrators, judges, leaders, sports information analysts, and global sports talents based on literature analysis, career development type and path guide design, experts interviews. Competency candidates were derived from interviews and workshops on experts. In order to finalize the competency model, it was confirmed by completing the feasibility test of experts. As a result, it is divided into common competency, professional competency, and global professional competency. There are 6 common competencies such as global competence, OA utilization, 29 special competencies by 5 career types, and 2 global competencies like sports foreign affairs, job preparation for international sports organization and the sports league federation. Competency definitions and behavioral indicator were developed for all competencies and could be used to diagnose the competency level of sports talents and to establish career development academy programs based on the competency model.

(사)한국패키지디자인협회가 주최하고 지식경제부, 한국디자인진흥원, (사)한국디자인법인단체총연합회 등이 후원하는 대한민국패키지디자인대전이 19회를 맞아 지난 1월 26일 그랜드앰배서더 호텔에서 시상식을 열었다. 제19회 대한민국패키지디자인대전에는 총 183점이 접수, 작품의 질 역시 해마다 높아져 심사 시 우열을 가리기 힘들 정도로 우수한 작품들이 출품되었다는 평가를 받고 있다. 대한민국패키지디자인대전은 일반부문과 학생부문으로 나누어 우수 작품이 선정되고 있으며, 일반 부문은 식음료, 화장품, 제과제빵, 전기전자, 생활용품, 주류, 팬시문구, 스포츠레저, 의료의약품, 화공익, 연구, 실험작품 부문으로 나뉘며 학생부문의 경우 패키지디자인부문, 브랜드아이덴티티(B.I) 부문, 실험작품 부문으로 선정, 시상되고 있다. 제19회 대한민국패키지디자인대전에서는 팩스타 대상인 지식경제부장관상은 수상작이 없으며, 일반 회원 작품 총 76작의 출품작 가운데 38 작품이 팩스타상을 수상했다. 학생부문에서는 총 181점 출품작 중 대상 1점, 금상 3점, 은상 5점, 동상 8점, 특별상 1점이 선정됐으며, 총 85개 작품이 입선했다. 본 고에서는 제19회 대한민국패키지디자인대전 일부 수상작들을 살펴봄으로써 근래 패키지디자인 경향을 알아보도록 한다.

동서양 문명이 만나는 곳, 터키. 두 문명이 서로 융합하면서 발전해 온 터키는 우리나라와는 소중한 인연을 가진 나라다. 멀리는 오랜 옛날 중앙아시아 초원에서 출발한 몽골/돌궐족의 후예로써 한국과 민족적 동질성을 찾아 볼 수 있으며, 1950년 한국전 당시 UN 군의 일환으로 참전하여 1천여 전사자를 포함하여 1만 5천여 전투병력을 파병하여 한국의 자유와 평화를 지키는데 큰 도움을 주었다. 2002년 월드컵 경기에서는 양국간의 오랜 우정을 확인시켜 주었을 뿐 아니라, 특별히 역사적인 3/4위전을 통해서는 전 세계인들에게 진정한 스포츠 정신과 함께 양국 국민들이 왜 서로를 '형제의 나라' 라고 부르는지 그 이유에 대한 답변을 보여 주기도 했다. 그리고 2008년, 유럽과 아시아를 동시에 접근할 수 있는 지리적 이점을 바탕으로 새로운 전략시장으로 떠오르는 터키로 우리 벤처가 전진할 시점이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate item goodness-of-fit of Scale, Rasch rating scale model was applied to 5 dimensions 24 items of the Test of Performance Strategies (TOPS) in a sample of athletes with physical disabilities (n=215). An assumption to test Rasch Model, which is satisfaction of unidimensionality, is regarded through PCAR test, and WINSTEPS 3.65 program is used to test the goodness-of-fit of items. The results of this study were: First, 3-point rating category was appropriate for the TOPS instead of the existing 5-point rating category. Second, as a result of analyzing the goodness-of-fit of the items, 21 items of the TOPS were suitable, but 3 items were not. Third, the item reliability of person separation of the TOPS was acceptable, but the person reliability of item separation was not suitable and it was necessary to adjust the item order considering the difficulty level of the items. Fourth, as a result of comparing the individual attribute score and the difficulty level through the Item-Person Map, the distribution of the item difficulty distribution was shown to be biased in some factors compared to the personal attribute score distribution.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the construct of Korean Version of Mental Toughness through Open-ended Questionnaire for soccer Players and coach. Data collection was inductively analyzed by distributing open questionnaires to 100 soccer players belonging to the Korean Football Association and 100 soccer coaches who participated in the training for obtaining a soccer coach's license. The resulting results are as follows. First, as a result of the inductive content analysis of korean version soccer players mental toughness, 11 factors were derived in the detailed area and 6 factors in the general area. Secondly, in the results on the mental toughness of Korean version soccer players according to soccer players and coaches, both players and coaches were found to be the highest factor, kkangdagu. I hope that the results of this study will be used as basic data for efforts to reduce the improving performance for soccer players and coaches.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of one-off capraise movement on the quickness of the lower extremities among the basic physical strength factors. The subjects of this study were 16 students majoring in physical education at Y University in D Metropolitan City, and all subjects were familiar with the contents of the measurement items and crime prevention, and the experiment was conducted with the students who answered the questionnaire and agreed. In summary, it seems that only a single calfraise is effective in strengthening the quickness of the lower extremities, and in particular, it is judged that the thicker the circumference of the calf muscle, the more it affects the quickness of the lower extremities. In addition, although the results of this study may not be considered to be effective for all ages, it is considered that it is good to use it as basic data for physical fitness evaluation as it shows the effect of improving records only with a single exercise. In future studies, it would be nice to recruit subjects by age and conduct studies that can raise the need for exercise through age differences.
