Even though lots of research have been doing about spam mail blocking technologies and their systems, the emergence of spam mails of new types causes the spam mail filtering rate to decrease and the occurrences of false-positive mails to increase. Therefore, existing spam mail filtering algorithms suffer from increasing load to be processed and decreasing reliability in spam mail blocking systems due to the shortage of newly developed algorithms and their research. This paper presents the Fit-FA Finder which is able to select appropriate algorithms to be applied and their procedures, and the development of the SMBC platform. The Fit-FA Finder is developed and implemented in the SMBC platform in which recovering process based on privacy information is employed for false-positive mails

전자우편(e-mail)은 매우 편리한 통신수단임에도 불구하고 무분별한 광고성 스팸메일(spam mail)의 침입과 타인의 메일을 가로채거나 변조가능성 등의 부작용 및 역기능으로 신뢰성에 문제가 되고 있다. 특히 기존의 스팸 방지 기술인 발송/수신 단계 스팸 방지 기술은 아직까지 스팸을 완벽하게 차단하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 스팸 방지 기술을 이용하여 1단계 차단을 거친 후 사용자 참여를 이용한 검증 시스템을 개발함으로써 스팸 차단 효율을 향상시키고자 한다.

While E-mail has become an important way of communications in IT societies, it creates various social problems due to increase of spam mails. Even though many organizations and corperations have been doing researches to develop spam mail blocking technologies, more cost and system complexities are required because of varieties of blocking technologies. In case of adopting spam blocking technologies, system reliability largely relies on the False-positive error rate with the order of employing spam blocking filters. In this paper, a False-positive mail recovery technique based on privacy information is proposed and implemented in order to improve the reliability of spam locking filters. Through the implemented prototype, recovery procedure for False-positive mails is verified and the results are summarized and analyzed.

스팸 메일의 정의와 피해 현황을 살펴보고, 스팸 메일의 제도적ㆍ기술적인 규제 방법을 알아본다. 기술적인 규제 방법은 메일 클라이언트/서버 차원의 스팸 방지 방법, ASRG에서 제안한 메일 프로토콜과 헤더를 이용한 스팸 규제 방법, 온라인 우표제를 통한 스팸 규제 방법이 있다. 살펴본 규제 방법들을 분류해보고, 결론과 향후 연구 과제를 제시한다.

Due to E-mail has a property which is not complete for security, sometimes it is used for purpose of commercial or bad things, therefore it becomes the latest problem to keep off a Spam-mail and commercial advertising E-mail, many ways to keep off were perposed for it. In this paper, I explained how to sort and keep off these Spam-mail and commercial advertising E-mail with three way, prevention by server level, prevention by construction of network level, prevention by client level. we designed a prevention system for Spam-mail and implemented it by Visual Basic.

본 논문은 유해콘텐츠를 접속하는 동기를 통하여 이를 효과적으로 차단하기 위한 전체적 방법에 대한 제시를 행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 인터넷 유해 콘텐츠의 접속 동기를 분석한다. 또한 인터넷 유해 콘텐츠를 접속하는데 있어 가장 큰 요소인 스팸메일에 대해 실태 파악 및 분석을 행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 스팸메일이 증가하는 이유, 스팸메일 발송자가 전자우편을 수집하는 방법 그리고 각종 스팸메일 방지 방안 및 스팸 방지 기술에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 또한 수신측에서 행해지고 있는 스팸메일 차단에 대해 여과를 안 하는 이유 등에 대해 조사함으로써 스팸메일 차단에 대한 연구 방향을 잡기 위한 기초 자료로 삼고자 하며 이를 기초로 이메일을 수집 단계에서부터 차단이 이루어 지게 하기 위한 종합적 차단 방법에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

스팸메일은 이메일이용자들에게 정신적인 피해, 경제적 손실을 주고 있어서, 스팸메일 방지대책이 매우 필요하다. 스팸방지대책의 하나로 스팸블랙리스트에 의한 스팸메일차단방법이 있으며 이메일수신자에게 스팸메일의 수신 양을 줄여주는 효과를 얻을 수 있어, 많은 ISP, 공공기관, 학교, 기업 등에서 이용되고 있다. 그러나 스팸메일 차단에 따른 선의의 이용자가 피해를 입는 경우가 있는 단점이 있다. 본 고에서는 다양한 스팸 대응 기법을 살펴보고, 우선 스팸 대응을 위한 대형 ISP의 사례를 살펴보았다. 우리나라 스팸대응효과는 스팸대응기관 중의 하나인 스팸하우스의 스팸발생 국가순위 등으로 확인한 바, '05.3.14일 현재 스팸발생국가 TOP 10 중에 우리나라는 3위, 스팸발생 ISP Top 10중에 코넷망(kornet.net)의 스팸발생순위는 2위를 차지하였는데, '06.9월과 '07.2월의 국가순위는 6위로 개선되었고, 코넷망은 10위권 밖으로 Top 10에 나타나지 않게 되었으며 스팸 발생 건수도 상당량 감소한 것으로 나타나는 등 효과를 발휘하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 본 고에서는 바람직한 스팸 대응 방안을 제시하였다.

While the E-mail is a important way of fast communication in these days. it is real that the E-mail is often misused as a commercial advertisement method and creates many social problems. Even though various filtering techniques for blocking spam mails have been developed, reliability of mail systems is decreased by misreading normal mails as spam mails, i.e. false-positive errors. In this paper, the SMBC(Spam Mail Blocking Center) platform employing spam mail recovery method based on privacy information is proposed and designed. The SMBC is designed in frame layer based on spam blocking system of proxy sewer and can be physically implemented in various topology so that flexible development with layered module is possible. Using privacy information makes the proposed SMBC platform minimize processing load and false-positive error rates so that it can improve mail system reliabilities.

In this paper, I developed a method whereby spam mail is automatically blocked through the connection to link URL. The blocking system works as follows. First, the system extracts information of URL linked to electronic mail which was delivered from any server on the internet. Next, the system lets itself be connected to the web pages through this URL. Last, the system blocks the electronic mail if those web pages contain any key word which was defined as a clue to spam mail.
