A Mobile P2P Streaming Architecture for Efficient Handover (효율적인 핸드오버를 위한 모바일 P2P 스트리밍 구조)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient mobile P2P streaming architecture to minimize playback jitters in P2P overlay networks based on wired/wireless networks even though mobile peers experience the handover. In this architecture, mobile peers receive data in a push manner to maximize the data receiving speed before and after the handover. In addition, they can maintain the buffering above a specific level through handover prediction and re-selection of neighbor peers. By simulation experiments, we show that our proposed architecture can improve the performance significantly when the handover occurs compared to the existing mesh structure.

  • 인터넷을 이용한 디지털 오디오 방송 서비스에 대한 관심이 집중되면서 디지털 오디오 데이터를 서버로부터 사용자에게까지 실시간으로 전송하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 디지털 오디오 방송의 실시간 전송을 위하여 효율적인 오디오 압축 기술의 개발도 중요하지만 이들 오디오 압축 기술과 연계되는 오디오 스트리밍 기술이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용되고 인터넷 오디오 방송관련 기술을 분석하고, 특히, IETF에서 논의되고 있는 MPEG-2AAC 및 MPEG-4 오디오를 인터넷을 통하여 전송하기 위한 RTP payload 포맷을 분석하고, 기술개발을 위한 고려사항을 제안한다.

  • 무선 메쉬 네트워크는 단말 사이에서 데이터와 음성을 끊김 없이 목적지까지 계속 연결을 가능하도록 하는 네트워킹의 한 방법이다. 이는 메쉬 네트워크는 서로서로 연결된 구조를 띄기 때문이며, 이는 다른 무선 네트워킹과 달리 네트워크의 손상이나 문제가 발생하였을 경우에도 연결을 계속 유지할 수 있는 메커니즘을 가진다. 이 메쉬 구조 내에서 영상 스트리밍 실험과 더 나은 품질 제공방안을 고찰한다.

  • As the environment with sensor network and ubiquitous computing is emerged, there are many demands of handling continuous, fast data such as streaming data. As work about streaming data has begun, work about management of streaming data in Publish-Subscribe system is started. The recent emergence of XML as a standard for information exchange on Internet has led to more interest in Publish - Subscribe system. A filtering technique of streaming XML data in the existing Publish- Subscribe system is using some schemes based on automata and YFilter, which is one of filtering techniques, is very popular. YFilter exploits commonality among path queries by sharing the common prefixes of the paths so that they are processed at most one and that is using the top-down approach. However, because partial matching path queries interrupt the common prefix sharing and don't calculate from root, throughput of YFilter decreases. So we use sharing of commonality among path queries with the common postfixes of the paths and use the bottom-up approach instead of the top-down approach. This filtering technique is called as PoSFilter. And we verify this technique through comparing with YFilter about throughput.

  • 멀티미디어 홈 네트워크 환경을 위해서는 A/V(Audio/Video)데이터의 실시간 전송에 유리한 IEEE1394 네트워크와 이동성을 편리하게 지원하고, 홈 외부로의 전송에 적합한 이더넷의 상호 연동 서비스가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 가정내의 IEEE1394 기반 A/V 장치에서 홈 내부 및 외부의 이더넷 기반 모바일 장치로 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하고, 인터넷의 멀티미디어 데이터를 IEEE1394 기반 A/V 장치로 전송하는 홈 게이트웨이의 구조를 제안한다. 멀티미디어 데이터의 실시간 전송을 위해 DV to MPEG4 트랜스코더를 DV, MPEG4 코덱을 통해 구현하였고, IEEE1394 네트워크와 이더넷 사이의 멀티미디어 데이터 전송 및 제어를 위해 스트리밍 서버와 MPEG4 코덱을 내장한 클라이언트, 그리고 IEC61883 규격을 이용한 IEEE1394 장치 제어 모듈을 제작하였다.

  • This paper proposes and implements consistency algorithm that is serviced streaming data efficiently in VOD system. The media data is loaded into each node by Round Robin method. The barrier mechanism is changed into the minimum data factor(SH. GOP) of media data in this paper. In addition in order to fast media data service, the additional features are implemented in the consistency algorithm. Additional feature of the consistency algorithm is added. First, time synchronization algorithm is added the suggested consistency algorithm. Second, the prepaging mechanism supports efficient buffering service. I experimented the suggested consistency algorithm on two DSM systems.

  • Due to the limited storage space in video proxy server, it is often required to replace the old video data which is not serviced for long time with the newly requested video. This replacement causes the service delay and increase of network traffic. To circumvent this problem, we propose the an efficient replacement scheme in a video proxy server. In addition, we present a video data management technique for decreasing the number of replacement in video proxy server. For this purpose, we employ a memory in video proxy server. If the video segment which is loaded in memory is requested once again by a different user, this segment is resided in memory. The video in the memory is stored in the video proxy server depending on the consuming pattern by users. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than other algorithms in terms of packet hit rate and number of packet replacement.

  • As the video streaming service are supported by various devices, the amount of usage increases and efforts to improve the service from the viewpoint of users have continued. When a user watches a video, a response time occurs from input to playback, and if this response time becomes longer, the user's service satisfaction decreases. In this paper, we are proposing a method prefetching each user's preference video data obtained by analyzing user's past history record to the device for reducing the response time. We will show the result that prefetching data can improve the response time to 41% at most. And we analyzed real-video streaming viewing record and got each user's preferred video list. We investigated the change of response time according to a hit-ratio and amount of overhead data that was prefetched to the device, but not viewed. It was shown that as the hit-ratio grows bigger, the improvement of response time becomes more effective.

  • Analysis techniques of the data over time from the mobile environment and IoT, is mainly used for extracting patterns from the collected data, to find meaningful information. However, analytical methods existing, is based to be analyzed in a state where the data collection is complete, to reflect changes in time series data associated with the passage of time is difficult. In this paper, we introduce a method for analyzing multi-block streaming data(AM-MBSD: Analysis Method for Multi-Block Stream Data) for the analysis of the data stream with multiple properties, such as variability of pattern and large capacitive and continuity of data. The multi-block streaming data, define a plurality of blocks of data to be continuously generated, each block, by using the analysis method of the proposed method of analysis to extract meaningful patterns. The patterns that are extracted, generation time, frequency, were collected and consideration of such errors. Through analysis experiments using time series data.

  • 본 논문은 고화질 이미지를 MPEG-2 스트리밍 기반에 전송하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 연구는 기존 연구에서는 다루지 않았던 고화질 이미지에 대한 부분을 다룰 것이며 제안된 환경은 DVB-ASI(Digital Video Broadcasting-Asynchronous Serial Interface) PCI 카드에서 입력받은 MPEG-2 스트리밍 데이터를 실시간으로 표준출력 장치에 디스플레이하며 송신 측과 수신 측에서 사용될 MPEG-2 스트리밍 헤더를 제안한다. 제안한 모듈 시험 결과 동영상 전송과 더불어 고화질 이미지 수신이 실시간으로 디스플레이 되었으며 시스템 점유율이 낮게 측정되었다.
