This paper presents a method for real-time verification of Statecharts. Statecharts has been widely used for real-time reactive systems, and supports two time models: synchronous and asynchronous. However, existing real-time verification methods for them are incompatible with the asynchronous time model or increase state space by introducing new variables to the target models. We solved these problems by extending existing model checking algorithms. The extended algorithms can be used with both time models of Statecharts because they consider time increasing transitions only. In addition, they do not increase target state space since they count those transitions internally without additional variables. We extended an existing model checker, NuSMV, based on the proposed algorithms and conducted some experiments to show their advantage.

스테이트 차트에서 (Unified Modeling Language: UML) 상태 기반의 이벤트를 처리하는 실행 상태를 기술하고, 구현과 임베디드 시스템에 적용하는 방안에 대하여 논의하며 퀀텀 플랫폼(quantum platform)을 이용하는데 구성요소인 퀀텀프레임워크 컴포넌트에 대한 부분을 Windows Host 환경에 적용하는 방법에 대해 연구하고 성능평가를 하였다.

현대 사회의 급변하는 기업환경에 대처하기 위해서 기업들은 기존의 애플리케이션 사이에 중간 매개체인 미들웨어를 설치하여 애플리케이션 통합을 이룰 수 있는 EAI를 도입하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 EAI는 상이한 미들웨어를 사용하는 시스템간의 통합을 위해서 Point-to-Point방식의 코딩을 사용해야 한다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스테이트 차트와 XML기술을 이용하여 다양한 미들웨어 시스템 상의 애플리케이션을 효율적으로 통합할 수 있는 미들웨어 독립적인 워크플로우 매니지먼트 시스템을 제안한다.

To cope with rapidly changing enterprise environment, many business entities introduce EAI, which integrates applications by installing middleware. But existing EAI has a serious problem that is to import imddleware-dependent coding method to integrate systems, using different middlewares. In this paper, we suggest middleware independent 'Workflow Management System' which efficiently integrates applications of various middleware systems with 'Duplicate EAI Adapter', 'state chart' and 'XML' technology.
