Development of Scalable Application Service Authoring Tool based on the Eclipse Platform (이클립스 플랫폼에 기반한 스케일러블 어플리케이션 서비스 저작도구 개발)

  • 스마트폰과 스마트TV와 같은 다양한 콘텐츠 소비 단말들이 급속히 보급되는 최근의 IT환경에서는 콘텐츠 제작, 유통, 소비에 있어서 예전과는 다른 패러다임을 요구하게 되었다. 예를 들어 각기 다른 해상도, 연산량, 사용자환경 등의 다양한 조건들에 대한 고려가 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 이를 해결하고자 단일 서비스 콘텐츠 패키지로 여러 단말들에게 적응적인 서비스를 제공하는 Scalable Application Description Language(SADL)에 기반한 스케일러블 어플리케이션 프레임워크가 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스케일러블 어플리케이션 프레임워크에서 적응형 서비스 콘텐츠를 쉽게 생산하고 패키징 할 수 있도록 이클립스 공개소스 플랫폼 기반의 저작도구를 제안 및 개발하였다. 개발한 저작도구는 유지 보수 및 확장성을 고려하여 모델-뷰-컨트롤러에 기반한 Graphical Editing Framework(GEF)를 이용했다. 제안하는 저작도구는 다양한 운영체제에서 작동하며, 유지보수 및 확장성이 우수하다. 또한 서비스 콘텐츠 개발을 위해 이클립스 플랫폼이 지원하는 다양한 플러그인 도구들을 그대로 활용 가능하다는 장점을 갖는다. 뿐만 아니라 본 저작도구는 기능의 추가적인 확장을 통해 홈 내 가상화 장치들을 위한 응용 프로그램 제작에도 활용할 수 있다.

  • WebGL is a cross-platform web standard for a low-level 3D graphics API based on OpenGL ES 2.0 and presents 3D graphics in web browsers without installing extra plug-ins. The reason that WebGL is notable is because it is included in the HTML5 standard which is getting the spotlight as a next-generation RIA(Rich Internet Application) platform for variable devices such as PCs, smart phones, table PCs, and smart TVs. In this research, we would like to introduce and develop a behavior engine for easy and rapid authoring of complicated interactions and 3D object's behavior models in WebGL-based contents.

  • 스마트그리드 환경하에서 플러그인 전기 자동차(PEV)는 새로운 도전이자 과제이다. 전 세계적으로 전기 자동차에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 PEV가 전력망에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LA사업자(Load Aggregator)는 소비자들의 부하를 통합적으로 관리하여 에너지 비용을 최소화하며 인센티브 지급을 통한 V2G 서비스를 사용하여 피크 삭감을 유도한다. PEV 운영 비용 최소화와 부하 평탄화를 목적으로 하는 LA사업자에 의한 PEV 충전 부하 관리의 잠재적인 이점들을 평가하며, 최적 충전 제어 방식을 위하여 하루전 시장에서 충전 부하와 V2G 가능 용량을 예측하고 PEV 배터리를 분석하여 모델링하는 방법을 제시하였다. 사례연구에서는 다음의 세 가지 PEV 충전 시나리오 즉, 제어되지 않는 시나리오(퇴근 후 충전), TOU 요금제를 적용한 시나리오와 최적 충전 제어 시나리오에 대해 에너지 비용과 피크 수요 감축 측면에서 비교 평가하였다. 이는 향후 증가하는 PEV로 인한 계통의 경제성 평가 및 신뢰도 평가로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • This paper proposes an effective smart plug system capable of monitoring power, cutting off standby power and overload current. The key design concept is focused on measurement accuracy, self power consumption and controlling via smart phone application. The system is composed of several plugs and a hub, and adopts a star-topology-styled TDMA wireless protocol for communication between plug and hub. The test result shows that the implemented smart plug system meets K10026 regulation and is worth in electrical safety, energy saving, easy living.

  • In this paper, the methods of designing and implementing user interaction using jQuery in Web Application are suggested. While computing ability of smart devices grows up, web application technology is generalized. So JavaScript is one of noticeable web application technologies, and jQuery is the most popular JavaScript framework. We described basic grammar, scalability and plug-ins of jQuery. We categorized user interactions and animations and described methods to implement it.

  • 기숙사와 같이 여러 사람이 세탁기를 공유하는 상황에서 세탁상황을 알 수 없어 세탁물을 가지고 세탁실에 갔다가 모든 세탁기가 사용 중인 상황이 많이 발생하여 학생들의 불편함이 크다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 세탁기를 그대로 사용하고 사물인터넷 기술이 적용된 스마트플러그를 개발하여 서버와 통신하게 하고, EBS(Efficient Book System) 세탁기앱을 통해 세탁상황을 원격에서 알 수 있고, 예약할 수 있으며, 세탁시간을 추천해 하는 시스템을 개발한다. 실제 기숙사 세탁실 세탁기에 적용하여 테스트했으며, 실현 가능성을 보였다.

  • A lot of electrical energy is used in our daily life. While energy saving concerns are overall, consumption practices of people in general are very different. People want to control their energy use and by knowing the amount of energy they use. Smart plug is a new device that measures electricity usage through each plug at an outlet with on/off control. User experience for electrical devices in regards to electricity usage should be newly designed. In this study, based on the survey, personas have been devised and their energy use experience in relation with smart plugs have been designed. Service models have been designed as well. By designing service with smart plug, user could enhance the experience of energy usage and saving and energy consumption practices could be improved in a sustainable manner.

  • The increase of smartphone users have made mobile carriers offload increasingly congested traffic of 3/4G by providing Wi-Fi hot-spots in the public places such as coffee shops and subway stations. In the traditional authentication in WLAN, the users should convince the service providers that they are valid customers before they use WLAN services. Since the authentication protocol is designed for service providers. Even with the mutual authentication based on the IEEE 802.1X, which is supported by IEEE 802.11 standard, it is difficult to be convinced of that the service providers really have installed the WLAN APs, which users are confronted with. An attacker can install rogue APs that masquerade as legitimate APs by copying the SSID, MAC address, etc. in order to obtain users' private information. In this paper, we introduce a method of authenticating legitimate APs for smartphone users. And we show our proposal can be well utilized for the current Wi-Fi hot-spots as a security plug-in and prove it through our experiments.

  • The smart grid technology is expected to significantly improve energy efficiency by dynamic power supply. One of its application is the Vehicle-to-Grid(V2G) that utilizes an electric vehicle's battery as a household storage battery. Meanwhile, a lot of researches are recently investigated in the area of wireless energy transfer technology because of its convenience and safety in charging a battery. With the wireless energy transfer infrastructure a wireless magnetic induction communication technique can help the dynamic power supply of the smart grid more efficient. In this paper, we propose a wireless magnetic induction communication sion cowhich includes data transmission and location-aware functions. We expect the sion cohelp the smart grid to control power supply more efficiently. We also developed its test-bed and evaluated the performance.

Design and Implementation of Standby Power Cutoff System for Smart Home Environment Based on Zigbee-MQTT (Zigbee-MQTT 기반 스마트 홈 환경에 적합한 대기전력 차단 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, with the development of IoT technology, there has been an increase in interest in the power consumption of the devices used by the internal devices. Especially, the standby power consumption during the main function of the devices is about 11% of the power energy and the problem of standby power interruption is suggested. However, there is a problem that the plug must be unplugged in order to substantially shut off standby power. Therefore, in this paper, we design and implement a standby power cutoff algorithm that can automatically control and manage users' participation in order to solve there problems. As a result of evaluating the implemented system, it was confirmed that the standby power interruption rate improved by about 5.89Wh on average compared to the existing system.
