A Study on Utilizing SNS to Vitalize Smart Learning (스마트러닝 활성화를 위한 SNS활용 방안 연구)

  • Smart-Learning has been increasing with the growth of smartphone usage. Looking at previous research, this study established the concept of smart learning, current understanding of smart learning and the requirements for smart learning. Subsequently, It was established a concept of SNS, reviewing future education, self-directed learning by using social network, and suggests policies of vitalizing smart-learning by using SNS. In order to use SNS in smart learning, first it is proposed the need for smart learning laws and institutions, particularly with young people considering their emotions in order to expand what is proposed. secondly, the need for SNS usage to be socially and culturally relevant. third and finally, the need for strengthening information security with co-operation from the government.

  • 스마트기기의 발달과 보급의 확산과 함께 모바일 인터넷 등 통신서비스 환경이 발전함에 따라 이러닝 환경의 고도화가 진행되면서 유비쿼터스러닝, 모바일러닝을 넘어 스마트 디바이스와 이러닝 연관 신기술이 융 복합된 새로운 형태의 교육 시스템인 스마트러닝으로 발전하고 있다. 하지만 현재 다양한 스마트 디바이스 기반의 스마트러닝 서비스를 통해 교육 콘텐츠를 학습자에게 제공하기 위해서는 기존 이러닝 콘텐츠의 구조 개선이 불가피한 상황이며 콘텐츠의 재사용 가능성, 접근성, 상호운용성, 항구성 및 질적 수월성의 향상을 위한 스마트러닝 표준화가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 이러닝 콘텐츠를 통한 스마트러닝을 구현하기 위한 방안으로 EPUB 3.0 표준을 활용한 스마트러닝 솔루션을 제안하고자 한다.

Awareness and Utilization Plan of the Smart Learning in University Education (대학교육의 스마트러닝에 대한 인식 및 활용 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine university student's awareness and utilization plan of Smart Learning of the university education. For this purpose, a needs analysis is performed through a survey of 345 university students. Through the survey, first, students of media devices, including the average daily usage time of four hours at the most common smart devices, the intended use was used SNS, games and entertainment, datebook, and more. Second, the benefits of the smart learning, which students learn to recognize the challenges and reducing the burden most common obstacle was the difficulty in immersion classes. Third, the demand for university education smart learning, the most common opinion about the classroom building. On the basis of the above research findings, the utilization plans are proposed.

  • This study was performed to figure out the effects of perceived usefulness and ease of use in Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) affecting acceptance attitude and intention to use in smart learning. In addition, the study recognized the need for differentiation of learning time by analyzing the difference of effects influencing acceptance attitude of perceived usefulness and ease of use during learning time, which is at the beginning, midterm, and at the end of the term. As the results of the study, it showed that there were differences between the factors, the learning time of which was considered, affecting acceptance attitude and intention to use. Furthermore, in order to improve the effectiveness of building a smart campus, which is currently under the construction, the study argued that universities need to consider the learning relevance and subjective norm as important factors in perceived usefulness of smart learning. Finally, the need for the design of various smart learning types became accepted considering learning time.

  • 최근 스마트기기가 널리 보급되고 소셜네트워크 서비스가 확산되면서, 스마트 기기 및 소셜미디어를 활용함으로서 학습에서 상호작용을 극대화한 교육환경으로 스마트러닝이 크게 부각되고 있다. 그리고 스마트러닝 콘텐츠 및 환경의 확산으로 PC 위주에서 스마트폰 등으로 이러닝 콘텐츠의 사용환경이 확장됨에 따라 콘텐츠 저작의 경제성과 효율성 등을 고려하게 되었으며, 하나의 콘텐츠를 다양한 환경에서 활용 가능하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 기존 PC기반의 콘텐츠를 스마트기기에 적용함에 있어 여러 가지 문제가 발생하는데 이 문제들을 해결하는 방안으로 먼저 콘텐츠에 대한 표준화가 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전자책 표준화를 활용한 효율적인 스마트러닝 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

The Empirical Study on the Motivations for e-Learning Service Usage of Smart Device Users (스마트기기 이용자의 이러닝 서비스 사용 동기에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to test the motivations for e-Learning service usage of smart device users. To do this, empirical data were collected by conducting a field survey with 382 smart-device based e-learners, and structural equation model was used for the purpose of analyzing the data acquired by the survey. A structural equation model was designed and constructed by such factors like usefulness, enjoyment, word-of-mouse(WOM) effect, and social interaction on e-Learning usage intention. In addition, social interaction has an influence on WOM effect. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows; first, usefulness, enjoyment, and WOM have direct effects on e-Learning usage intention. Second, social interaction not only has direct influence on e-Learning usage intention but also has indirect influence carried by WOM effect. The findings have significant implications which the study inquires into the factors for e-Learning usage motivations of smart-device based e-learners.

  • 현재 태블릿 PC와 스마트기기의 급속한 보급으로 다양한 분야의 스마트러닝 시스템들이 운영되고 있다. 그러나 현재까지의 스마트러닝 시스템에서는 학습자가 강의를 정확하게 수강하였는지의 판단은 로그인과 동영상강의의 런닝타임으로 체크하여 학습자가 동영상강의를 제대로 수강하였는지는 판단하기 어렵다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 기존 스마트러닝 시스템에 스마트기기의 내장 카메라를 이용한 시선인식기능을 사용하여 학습자가 동영상강의를 수강하는 동안 시선인식이 되지 못하면 동영상이 멈추게 설계하여 강의내용을 끝까지 수강하게 한다. 그리고 각 수강생별로 시선인식이 되지않아 동영상이 멈춘 시간대와 멈춘 시간을 기록하여 강의종료 후 서버에 전송하여 전체 강의시간에 대한 집중도를 체크하며 학습자의 수강여부를 판단하고 같은 강의를 수강하는 여러 학습자들의 자료를 분석하여 교수자가 강의를 개선할 수 있는 스마트러닝 시스템을 설계하려고 한다.

An Exploratory Study of the Relationship between Smart Learning and Smart Work: The Use of Personal Laptops by Graduate Students in a Smart Campus Environment (스마트러닝과 스마트워크의 관련성에 대한 탐색적 연구: 스마트 캠퍼스 환경에서 대학원생의 개인 노트북 컴퓨터 사용을 중심으로)

  • The importance of smart learning (SL) has been emphasized in schools. Additionally, the significance of smart work (SW) in improving business performance has gained much attention among industries. From theoretical, technological, and environmental perspectives, SL and SW are somewhat similar. Therefore, a case study was performed to find a way to link SL and SW, and a linking model was proposed for this purpose. Because laptops are considered a pivotal element in the technological aspect of SL, graduate students' use of personal laptops in classes (Bring Your Own Laptop, BYOL) was investigated. The results showed that the students reacted positively to the idea of using personal laptops in class and that they expected to learn IT skills more effectively this way. They listed being able to study even after class and the easy accessibility of relevant data as the strengths of BYOL. However, they cited the heaviness of the laptops and occasional loss of focus during classes as the weaknesses of BYOL. Thus, this study showed the possibility of that students who experience SL can perform better in an SW situation. Therefore, if a policy is enacted that allows students to efficiently use laptops, a greater number of educational achievements will be attained on smart campuses and, subsequently, a greater number of smart workers will be produced.

  • 스마트 러닝에 대표적으로 사용되는 스마트 보드는 학생들에게 향상된 동기부여와, 적극적인 수업 참여를 불러일으키고, 어플리케이션을 직접 조작함으로서 흥미를 주고, 주의집중도를 향상시키며, 개인차를 고려하여 학습에 기여했다. 그러나 학생들에게 환영을 받았던 스마트 보드의 새롭고 흥미로운 이점들은 오래가지 못했다. 학생들의 동기부여는 지속되지 못했으며, 어떠한 성과도 나타나지 않았다. 그러므로, 스마트 보드는 적절한 가르침의 전략과, 방법, 기술을 조화롭게 사용하여 바라는 영향을 달성해야 한다.

The effect of COVID-19 characteristics and transmission risk concerns on smart learning acceptance: Focusing on the application of the integrated model of ISSM and HBM (코로나-19의 특징과 전파위험 걱정이 스마트 러닝 수용에 미치는 영향: ISSM과 HBM의 통합 모형 적용을 중심으로)

  • As COVID-19 spreads, people's interest in smart learning that can do non-face-to-face learning is increasing nowadays. In this study, we aim to empirically analyze how users' thoughts on COVID-19 and the information quality and system quality of smart learning systems affect users' acceptance of smart learning and examine the effect of perceived sensitivity and severity of COVID-19 on the satisfaction and use of smart learning through concerns about the risk of transmission. In addition, we examined the influence of information quality composed of content quality and interaction quality and system quality composed of system accessibility and functionality on the use of smart learning through user satisfaction. To verify the validity of the proposed model, we conducted a survey on 334 users with experience in using smart learning, and performed the analysis using Smart PLS 3.0. According to the analysis results, among information quality and system quality, only functionality has a positive (+) effect on the satisfaction of smart learning, and satisfaction has a positive (+) effect on the usage behavior. However, it is found that accessibility among system quality do not affect satisfaction, and concern about the risk of transmission has a negative effect on satisfaction. This study can provide meaningful guidelines to researchers when researching smart learning to support students' learning in a pandemic situation of a new infectious disease, such as COVID-19. It will also be able to provide useful implications for educational institutions and companies related to smart learning.
