Fault Detection Method for Ceramic Cup by Pseudo Reverberation Time Based on Output Data by Impact Test (충격 시험의 출력 데이터에 기초한 유사잔향 시간을 이용한 도자기의 결함 탐지법)

  • To determine the faults of ceramic cup it is proposed to use pseudo reverberation time concept estimated by impact test in room. Schroeder curves estimated from impact test for a cup with small crack and without one are utilized to estimate pseudo reverberation time. Pseudo reverberation times are compared and discussed according to a sort of impact hammers and impact points and also boundary conditions. As a result. proposed method is proved to be very useful to detect the existence of faults for candidate cups.

  • To enhance the recycling rate of wasted glass bottles toward recycled aggregates, the study would decide optimal comminution equipment based on the particle size distribution, aspect ratio and equipment energy analysis. The impact, compress and abrasion is type of generated force by comminution. So, hammer crusher, shredder, roll crusher and ball mill have been selected because they have characteristic which is each type of force. As a result of the particle size analysis of each product, only the shredder product satisfied concrete and asphalt aggregate quality standard condition. Also, as a result of aspect ratio analysis using Imaging software program (Image J, National institute of health), most of size fraction is confirmed under 1.6 value. It was confirmed that the product has low dangerousness and satisfying to shpage index. Also, the particle reduction ratio against input energy of shredder product was the most high. Therefore, we can decide that the optimal equipment which applicable for comminuting waste glass bottle in certain particle size under 10mm is shredder. The result of study will make contribution to increasing energy efficiency of comminution processing and competitiveness of product.

  • On July 5,2002 the Law Concerning Recycling of End-of Life Vehicles popularly known as the "Automobile Recycling Law" was enacted in Japan. This paper examines the features of this Law, reasons why the Law was brought into existence, and its predicted impacts on the automobile industry. Pursuant to the Law, the current automobile recycling system was replaced by a new one in January 1, 2005.

  • The production technologies of free-form concrete panels are emerging to satisfy the need of modern complex shaped in architectural design. This study aims for introducing and improvising the innovative technique called Rod type mold that overcomes the difficulties in some extent by enabling the mold to be used many times, making the shape of the mold adjustable in a flexible way and describing its production process to provide the alternative solution for the construction of free-form mold with considering the features including reusability and optimization cost across its production process. In this study, the freeform concrete panel shape was designed and experiment was done using computerized numeric control machine and rod type mold. The problems appeared on achieving desired shape while operating on rod type mold. The process of identifying all the root causes and contributing causes that may have generated an undesirable condition were done. Consequently, the conical or semicircular shaped was proposed for the end of Numerical control rod and replaced it with the existing flat shaped end to avoid the detachable problem and to improve rod type mold performance.

시멘트 산업에서의 자원재활용

  • 1. 2014년도 우리나라 전체 폐기물 발생량은 146,607천 톤이며, 건설폐기물이 46.2%(67,644천 톤), 사업장 일반폐기물이 38.1%(55,914천 톤), 생활폐기물이 12.4%(18,219천 톤), 사업장 지정페기물이 3.3%(48,810천 톤)을 나타내고 있다. 2. 건설폐기물의 97.9%, 배출시설계 폐기물의 77.3%, 생활폐기물의 67.0%, 지정폐기물의 57.3%가 재활용되고 있다. 3. 2015년도 우리나라 시멘트산업에서 18,801천 톤의 순환자원을 재활용하였다. 폐기물이 6,136천 톤이고, 부산물이 12,665천 톤이다. 부산물은 11,000천톤이 제철슬래그이고, 1,600천 톤이 폐석고(탈황석고 중화석고)로 추정된다. 그리고 폐기물 6,136천 톤은 사업장 일반폐기물의 약 11.0%에 해당된다. 4. 시멘트 톤당 순환자원 사용량(재활용 원단위)은 일본이 400kg/톤 이상이고 우리나라는 300kg/톤 대를 나타내고 있다. 일본이 우리나라보다 재활용량/톤이 많은 이유를 다음에서 찾을 수 있다. (1) 고품위 석회석 원료 (2) 법 제도(지원금 포함) 5. 원료 대체율의 산출은 다음 두 산출방법으로 나타낼수 있다. (1) 이론적인 원료 상한 대체량에 대한 실제 원료 대체량 (2) 이론적인 원료 조합량에 대한 실제 원료 대체량 2015년도 우리날 전체 원료 대체량(17,770천 톤)은 (1)에 의한 대체율 : 71% (2)에 의한 대체율 : 27% 6. 자동차 슈레더 더스트(ASR)를 시멘트산업에서 자원화 하게끔 ASR처리의 보완 및 법적지원(지원금 포함)이 요망된다. 7. 부산물 및 폐기물의 자원화는 시멘트산업에서의 이용이 가장 우수한 장점을 갖추고 있다. 그러므로 시멘트산업에서 폐기물의 자원화를 적극 추진하게끔 제도의 보완 및 시설지원 등 정부의 대책수립이 간절하다.

  • The Korean Auto industry has developed remarkably over the past 30 years. In 2005 alone, Korea produced 3.7 million vehicles, and the number of vehicles registered surpassed the 15 million marks. The rapid growth in registration, however, has given increasing problems to the traffic congestion and the environmental pollution. The system for handling of ELV in Korea is governed by the 'Motor management law'. The law places the responsibility for vehicle scrapping directly on the vehicle owners. The take-back rate of ELV reaches nearly 100% in Korea since 1987. To further entourage recycling, the government introduced the extended producer responsibility system(EPRS) starting January 1, 2003, which imposes waste recycling obligations on producers or importers. According to the system, producers must recycle home appliances and packaging materials. This system, however, did not involve the automobiles. In 2006, the automobiles recycling law is under preparing now by the government. This article is concerning current status for End-of-Life vehicle's recycling and the recycling system model for advanced ELV industries in Korea.

Evaluation and Analysis of Composition of Shredder Residue from End-of-life Vehicle (폐자동차 차피파쇄잔류물의 組咸에 대한 分析評價硏究)

  • A research was performed to evaluate a use of shredder residue to currently dispose of at landfills. Laboratory analyses were conducted to determine especially the fuel characteristics of shredder residue. For this aim, shredder residue was classified by the particle size as well as by the type of material and the content of Cl, S, ash, and calorific value were determined. Due to the chlorinated plastic content of shredder residue, mean concentration of Cl was found to exceed 4wt% except one sample while that of S was ranged from 0.25 to 0.39 wt%. As far as calorific value was concemed, plastic was observed to be more than 10,000 kcal/kg while wood/paper and fiber accounted for approximately 4,000 kcal/kg. Shredder residue was found to contain varying trace amounts of metal elements, including Fe of 6∼8.5 wt%. Hg and Cr(VI) were not detected, however, while Cd was contained as small as 0.0004-0.0009 wt%.

Recycling of Ferrous Scraps (철스크랩의 리사이클링)

  • This work provides an overview of the steel production process, pretreatment and tramp elements of scraps and recycling technology of dust generated from steelmaking process. Steel is the most common metal used by mankind, with the world production of crude steel in 2018 exceeding 1.8 billion tonnes. Recycling of ferrous scraps reduces CO2 emissions by about 42 % and saves about 60 % of energy, compared to production steel from iron ore. Steel scraps are usually recycled to both an electric arc furnace (EAF), scrap-based steelmaking and the basic oxygen furnace (BOF), in ore-based steelmaking. EAF steelmaking, which uses iron scrap as a main raw material, is changing to an energy-saving type with a device for preheating scrap. Dust generated from the steelmaking process is recycled in various ways in the steel mill to recover iron and zinc.
