액체 램제트 엔진의 3차원 분무 및 연소 반응 해석

  • 액체 램제트 연소기는 흡입공기와 분무, 혼합 그리고 이에 따른 연소 등 일련의 과정에 따라 다수의 복잡한 현상들이 상호 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 액체 램제트 연소기내의 유동특성을 파악하기 위해서 2차원 및 3차원 연소기 형상에 대해서 수치적 실험을 수행하였으며, 격자구성은 연소기에 공기를 공급하고 연료를 분무하는 공기 유입관 영역과 연소실 영역, 그리고 출구 대기 영역으로 나누어 독자적으로 격자를 생성시켰다. 2차원과 3차원 유동해석을 비교하였고 분무모델의 적용에 따른 연소특성 및 분사위치에 따른 연소특성을 비교하였다. 유동해석 결과 2차원과 3차원의 유동특성은 달랐으며, 분무모델을 적용해야 정확한 연소 유동 현상을 예측할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 유입관의 안쪽에 연료의 분사위치를 준 경우가 연소의 안정화에 필요한 재순환영역으로의 연료의 혼합이 잘 되어 유입관 바깥쪽에 연료를 분사시키는 것보다 좋은 분사위치임을 알 수 있었다.

An Efficient Multicasting Algorithm and Its Performance Evaluation in Multistage Interconnection Networks (다단계 상호연결망에서 효율적인 멀티캐스팅 알고리즘과 성능 평가)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient multicasting algorithm in multistage interconnection networks (MIN's) employing the region encoding scheme. The proposed algorithm uses the recursive scheme to recycle a multicast message at most two times through MIN, in order to send it to its desired destinations. It is composed of two recycling phases which are the copying phase and the routing phase of the multicast message. In the first phase, a source sends the message to a region that contains the largest number of destination regions, and destinations in these regions receive and store the message in this phase. The remaining destinations can finally receive the message in the second phase. This method of the algorithm can improve its performance by reducing the delay of message and the volume of traffic. Moreover, we evaluate the performance of our algorithm in terms of the average number of recycling and the number of internal links used per destination, comparing with the previously proposed algorithm.

  • In this study, STEAM program on the subject of 'atmospheric circulation and surface current' was produced based on data and applied to 106 first-year high school students to analyze its effect and problem-solving processes. This program was organized to collect, refine, visualize, and analyze data and to allow communication processes to proceed based on these results. Using this, the concept of circulation in daily life was expanded from a global perspective to identify problems about circulation around the world. As a result of the application of the program, significant changes were identified in knowledge information processing competency. Also, significant changes were made in terms of convergence and creativity, which are sub categories among STEAM core competencies. It also sought to obtain suggestions for data-based STEAM education by analyzing students' responses in the form of a Text network.

  • 동해의 보편적인 순환계를 Lagrangian 부표 수치실험을 통하여 추적하였다. 부표 수치실험을 하기 위하여 사용된 순환장은 동해전반에 관하여 보간된 실제 해저지형을 사용한 원시방정식(Primitive equation)모형으로부터 유도되었다. 시뮬레이션된 순환장은 전반적으로 기존의 관측치와 고찰결과에 일치하지만 좀 더 많은 시간적, 공간적 변화를 보여준다. 부표는 모형영역내에서 동해전역에 걸쳐 해수수송이 최소와 최대가 되는 달인 3월 1일과 9월 1일에 투하되어 각각 1년간 추적되었다. (중략)

  • 본 연구에서는 Fig.1과 같은 2상 자연순환 회로의 1차원 해석을 수행하고, 액 상의 과냉정도와 각 상 영역에서의 밸브 마찰저항이 순환유속에 미치는 영향을 살펴보 므로써 정적 불안정의 조건을 알아보는데 있다. 본 모델에서는 유한 길이를 갖는 증 발기와 응축기를 고려하였으며, 정적 불안정의 가능성을 해석적으로 보여주기 위해 간 단한 모델(point-heat-source/sink)도 함께 다루었다.

  • The dilution and the shore attachment of buoyant effluent into a crossflow are investigated experimentally. The effluent is produced by discharging warm water through a side channel into an open channel crossflow with the same depth to the side channel flow. Buoyancy causes the effluent to lift off the bottom, spreads across the crossflow and stays as the surface layer. The geometry of the recirculating region and the dilution of the effluent depend mainly on the buoyancy. The condition of the shore attachment can be specified by the ratios of velocities and Froude numbers.

  • The experimental study has been conducted to investigate the effect of the recirculation zone on the multi-slot film cooling in the ramjet combustor. The recirculation zone which is generated by the protrusion tip on the entrance of the coolant flow path affects on the first slot. Velocity fields, dimensionless temperature fields and adiabatic film cooling effectiveness on the downstream wall of the slot exit are measured. The results show that the film cooling performance is rapidly decreased after the slot exit by the share layer and high turbulence intensity between separated flows and coolant flows.

  • The flow configurations at open channel junctions are analyzed by 2-D depth averaged mathematical model. The governing factors of the flow at the junction are found to be discharge ratio between tributary flow and the post confluence combined flow, and confluence angle. Analyzed by these two factors are flow patterns and flow depth variation at the confluence, discharge ratio above which the flow upstresm from the junction is affected by the tributary flow and the geometries of a recirculation region. Further, the flow contraction in the downstream region and the deflection of the tributary flow in the main channel were investigated. The numerical results are compared with the existing experimental data fairly well.

  • 차세대 제트 추진기관으로 주목받고 있는 스크램제트 엔진의 핵심은 연소기 내부에서의 성공적인 초음속 연소를 필요로 한다. 초음속 연소는 공기-연료 혼합(fuel-air mixing)의 정도에 따라 연소효율이 영향을 받게 된다. 공동형 화염 보염기(cavity flameholder)는 재순환 영역(recirculation zone)을 생성하여 연료 혼합의 효율을 높여 지속적인 초음속 연소가 진행될 수 있는 시간을 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 EDISON 전산유체역학 소프트웨어를 이용하여 공동형 화염 보염기를 지나는 초음속 유동의 재순환 영역과 전압력 변화에 대한 전산 해석을 수행하였다. 초기 형상을 생성하여 유동 해석을 수행한 후, 3개의 형상 변수에 대한 매개 변수 연구를 통하여 공동의 형상과 위치에 따른 재순환영역의 제어가 가능함을 확인하였다.

The Influence of Using the Concept Cartoons about Middle School Students' Science Attitudes in the Lessons on Water Cycle Unit (물의 순환에 대한 과학 수업에서 개념 만화 활용이 중학생들의 과학 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of using the concept cartoons about middle school students' science attitude in the lessons on water cycle unit. For the purpose, they were developed to the learning program with concept cartoon and the instrument for the science attitude which has four categories; attitudes about science, attitudes about science subject, learning motives for science subject, and scientific attitudes. The research method was designed to quasi-experimental design. The concept cartoon was provided to the experimental group during nine lessons. Before and after the lessons in all two groups, the pre-post tests with the instrument were performed. The results from twice t-tests were shown that the domain of learning motives for science subject was only improved. From these, it were indicated that the concept cartoon was not effective all areas in science attitude, therefore the use in science lessons need to be restricted within narrow purpose.
