  • The first part of this article investigates the general characteristics and the advantages and disadvantages of the analytico-synthetic classification over the enumerative one. The second part analyzes the general steps and related problems in compiling an analytico-synthetic scheme, and investigates the steps further including facet analysis , choosing order in main classes, citation order and order in array : and adding notations, through an illustrative scheme for a matrimonial agency's records.

A Study on the Effects of the Appearance Sequence of Author Keyword on the Appearance Frequency of Article Title in the Education (교육학 분야 국내 학술 논문 저자키워드 출현 순서에 따른 빈도가 저자키워드의 논문 제목 출현 빈도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 교육학 분야에서 국내 학술 논문 저자키워드 출현 순서에 의미가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 저자키워드 출현 순서별로 빈도를 조사하고 동 저자 키워드가 제목에 출현하는지를 살펴본 후, 학술논문 저자키워드 출현 순서에 따른 빈도가 저자키워드의 논문 제목 출현 빈도에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 연구의 배경은 구조적 학술용어사전의 구축과 관련해서 효율적인 용어 선정이나 용어 분류 방법을 찾는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 위해 교육학 분야 저자키워드의 출현 빈도수가 1인 것을 제외하고 고빈도 순으로 400개 용어를 추출하였다. 저자키워드의 몇 번째 출현 순서가 저자키워드의 제목 출현에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는지 알아본 결과, 저자키워드의 첫 번째 출현이 아닌 두 번째 출현이 가장 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 해쉬 함수를 바탕으로 한 메시지 인증 코드 중의 하나인 MD5 를 하드웨어로 설계하였다. MD5 는 block-chained digest 알고리즘으로 64 단계의 동일한 단계 연산 구조를 가지므로 가장 기본적인 연산 한 단계를 구현하여 반복적으로 수행하는 구조로 설계하였다. 단계 연산구조 내에서는 연속된 32bit 덧셈 연산이 이루어지는데 기존의 CLA(carry-lookahead-adder)만을 사용하여 구현한 구조 대신 본 논문에서는 CSA(carry-save-adder)와 CLA 를 혼용하였다. 덧셈연산의 결과는 순서와 상관없기 때문에 연산자의 덧셈 순서를 리스케줄링 하였으며, 이는 기존의 CLA 만을 이용한 방법과 비교하여 최장지연 경로를 15% 줄여 훨씬 빠르게 연산을 수행하고, 전체 면적도 30%를 줄일 수 있었다. 결과적으로 본 논문에서 제안하는 구조는 지금까지 나온 어떤 MD5 프로세서 보다 작고 빠른 프로세서를 구현 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Method of Adaptive ISF Split Vector Quantization Using Normalized Codebook (정규화 코드북을 이용한 분할 벡터 구조의 ISF 적응적 양자화 기법)

  • In most of the ISF (or LSF) based real time speech codec, SVQ (split vector quantization) method is used to decrease the quantizer complexity and memory size of codebook. However, it produces drawback that the level of correlation between code vectors can not be used during vector splits. This paper presents a new method of adaptive ISF vector quantization, which compensates the drawbacks of SVQ structured quantizer for wideband speech codec. In each different frame, the proposed method makes use of the correlation between splitted vectors by adaptively changing codebook distribution according to ordering property of ISF. The algorithm is evaluated in AMR-WB, and shows about 1.5 bit per frame improvement.

Investigation of Stress Changes in Concrete and Strands according to Cutting Order of the Strands in Pre-tensioned Concrete Slab (프리텐션 슬래브 구조에서 긴장강선 용접절단순서에 따른 긴장재 및 콘크리트의 응력변화 고찰)

  • This study focuses on the effect of the cutting order of prestressing strands on the strain change in the strands and on the state of stress of concrete, experimentally and numerically. In the experiment, strain of strands and of transversal reinforcement were measured for three different cutting orders during detensioning process by using flame-cutting procedure. The experimental results were compared with those obtained from the FE analysis. As a results of the experiment, it is confirmed that the cutting order of prestressing strands affected on the strain of strands as well as of transversal reinforcement. The FE analysis gave similar results to those obtained from the experiment. Therefore, the cutting order should be chosen appropriately to when the strands get detensioned.

  • 본 논문은 원시 프로그램에 오류가 생겼을 때 신속한 오류검출, 소프트웨어의 유지 보수, 유연한 테스팅 등을 목적으로 하는 프로그램 슬라이싱과 원시 프로그램의 복잡한 베 어 흐름이나 데이터 흐름을 이해하고 프로그램이 테스팅 속도 향상과 오류위치를 파악하는 데 도움을 주는 구조적 순서도의 개념을 도압하여, C 언어데 대한 할당문(Assignment Statement)과 복합 제어 문(Compound Control Statement)으로 된 원시 프로그램의 입력 에 대해 프로시듀어(Procedure) 내에서의 구조적 순서도인 나씨-슈나아더만 차트 (Nassi-Shnei-derman Chart)를 자동 생성하고 실제 관심있는 변수에 대해 정적 슬라이싱 (Static Slicing)을 하는 도구를 개발함으로써 보다 빠르고 정확한 프로그램 구조의 이해에 도움을 주고자 한다.

Advanced OS-CFAR Processor Design with Low Computational Effort (순서통계에 근거한 개선된 CFAR 검파기의 하드웨어 구조 제안)

  • An OS-CFAR (Ordered Statistics CFAR) based on a sorting algorithm is useful for automotive radar systems in a multi-target situation. However, while the typical cell-averaging CFAR has low computational complexity, the OS-CFAR has much higher computation effort. In this paper, we design the new OS-CFAR architecture with a low computational effort. In the proposed method, since one time sorting processing is performed for the decision of the CFAR threshold, the whole processing effort can be reduced. When the fast sorting technique is employed, the computing time of the proposed OS-CFAR is always much shorter compared with typical OS-CFAR method regardless of the data size. We also present the processing result of proposed architecture using the real radar data.

Parametric Study on Design of Composite-Foam Sandwich Structures for Micro EDM Machine tool structures (미세 방전가공 기계 구조를 위한 복합재료-포움 샌드위치 구조 설계에 관한 파라메트릭 연구)

  • In this paper, parametric study was carried out to design sandwich structures for EDM machines controlling stacking sequence, stacking thickness of composites and rib configuration. Sandwich structures which are dealt with in this paper are composed of fibre reinforced composite for skin material and foam or resin concrete for core materials. The sandwich column has cruciform rib to enhance bending stiffness of the structure and the bed has several vertical ribs to resist the normal forces and vibration. The design parameters such as rib thickness and stacking sequence were controlled to enhance the system robustness. Finite element analysis was also carried out to verify the variation of static and dynamic stiffness of the structures according to the variation of the parameters. Vibration tests were performed to verify the natural frequencies and damping ratios of the manufactured composite structures. The appropriate shape and configuration conditions for micro-EDM machine structures are proposed.

A Musical Genre Classification Method Based on the Octave-Band Order Statistics (옥타브밴드 순서 통계량에 기반한 음악 장르 분류)

  • This paper presents a study on the effectiveness of using the spectral and the temporal octave-band order statistics for musical genre classification. In order to represent the relative disposition of the harmonic and non-harmonic components, we utilize the octave-band order statistics of power spectral distribution. Experiments on the widely used two music datasets were performed; the results show that the octave-band order statistics improve genre classification accuracy by 2.61 % for one dataset and 8.9 % for another dataset compared with the mel-frequency cepstral coefficients and the octave-band spectral contrast. Experimental results show that the octave-band order statistics are promising for musical genre classification.

  • Information obtained from DFD(Data Flow Diagram) are very important in system maintenance, because most legacy systems are analyzed using DFD in structured analysis. In our thesis, we design and implement an extractor for design sequence of database tables using DFD. Our extractor gets DFDs as input data, transform them into a directed graph, and extract design sequence of DB tables. We show practicality of our extractor by applying it to a s/w system in operation.
