봄은 탄생의 계절이다. 성경에 따르면 인간은 이른바 '지식의 나무'의 열매를 먹은 죄로 인해 행복한 에덴의 삶으로부터 추방당했다. 그렇다면 인간의 불행은 알려고 하는 데서 시작된 것이란 말인가? 우리말의 '아름답다'는 본래 '앎(知)'에서 온 말이다. 앎의 학문인 과학은 우리에게 아름다움과 불행을 동시에 안겨준다. 탄생은 이렇듯 생태적으로 양면성을 자고 있다. 그러나 그것은 또한 인간이 선택할 수 없는 숙명이다.

'환상'이란 현실에 대한 전복적인 기능을 하는 비현실적인 것이다. 서양에서는 이것을 'Fantasy'라고 하고, 고전소설에서는 '신이(神異), 기이(奇異), 괴이(怪異)'와 같은 한자어가 주로 사용되었다. <박씨전>은 인물, 사건, 배경에서 환상성이 드러난다. 이 논문에서는 <박씨전>의 환상성을 활용하여 문화콘텐츠의 원형적 소재로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 검토해보았다.

자연형 하천으로 복원된 도시하천의 기온저감 효과를 파악하고자 2007년 6월 1일부터 2008년 5 월 31일까지 10분 간격으로 서울시 강남구의 양재천 및 그 주변지역의 기온을 관측하였다. 관측 값 은 관측지점의 일중 기온변화와 관측 자료들 중에서 연 평균 기온이 가장 높은 숙명여고 (SM) 와 양 재천 주변 두 지역(YW와 YT)의 기온차를 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 2007년 6월 15일 22:50에 숙 명여고와 양재천 두 지점의 기온차가 $7.7^{\circ}C$로 가장 크게 관측되었으며 이때 기상상태는 바람이 없고 맑고 개인 날씨이었다. 또한 일 중 기온 저감효과는 낮보다는 밤에 뚜렷하였으며 관측 기간 중 숙명 여고 (SM)에서 열대야 현상이 13일로 가장 많이 나타난데 비해 양재천 (YW와 YT)은 4일로서 열대 야의 특성인 도심지 최저기온 상승을 하천이 억제함으로써 하천의 기온저감효과가 확인되었다.

흔히 사람이 살아가면서 없어선 안 될 요소로 의식주를 손꼽곤 한다. 그런데 이 3가지 요소 중에서 의류가 맨 앞에 포진함은 의미심장하다. 먹고 자는 행위보다 입는 행위가 더 중요해서 일까. 아마 잠시라도 사람의 곁을 떠나지 않으면 안 되는 필수적인 요소이기 때문에 의류를 제일 앞에 포진시킨 것이 아닐 까 한다. 사실 인간이 옷을 입지 않고 존재하는 시간은 얼마 되지 않는다. 은밀한 사적인 공간에서 아니면 인간은 입어야 하는 게 숙명이다. 반면 삶에 있어 반드시 필요한 입는 행위의 이면에는 빠는 행위, 즉 세탁의 행위가 숙명처럼 존재한다. 한번 입고 옷을 버리지 않은 이상 세탁은 삶에 있어 필수 불가결한 요소이다. 이러한 행위를 가장 편하게 만드는 이기가 세탁기이다. 세탁은 가정에서 하는 게 일반적이기만 상업용 세탁용 시장도 존재한다. 돈 주고 세탁을 맡기는 세탁소가 대표적인 업종이다. 그런데 최근 상업용 세탁 시장의 틈새시장으로 셀프 빨래방이 확대되고 있다. 셀프 빨래방은 말 그대도 소비자가 혼자 세탁기 및 건조기를 이용해 세탁을 하는 업태이다. 셀프세탁 문화의 확대가 전제되어야 하는 이 신업태가 과연 얼마만큼의 시장 파급력을 형성할 수 있을 까. 이 신업태의 중심에 있는 코인업사는 셀프 빨래방의 급속 확산과 성공을 자신하고 있다. 무인매장으로 24시간, 365일 운영을 할 수 있다는 사업 본연의 장점에다 최근 매장 경쟁력을 강화할 야심에 찬 제품군까지 준비했다. 바야흐로 셀프 빨래방의 전성시대를 열어가려하는 코인업의 신사업 추진 현황을 따라가 봤다.

The study investigated conservation and fiber of 66 letters of Sukmyeonghancheob (national treasure No.1629) that the National Cheongju Museum kept. Before treatment, the cover was destroyed and inner paper was stained by water and humidity and destroyed by insects. One volume of King Hyojong was kept at separate frame. The author disassembled book and removed old Baejeobji and inspected paper quality of letter and tested fiber by using C-stain: The author reassembled one volume by including one letter separated after repairing destroyed area of the edge.

내일 눈이 올 것이다. 이 명제의 모순적 반대는 '내일 눈이 오지 않을 것이다'이다. 오늘 이 둘 중의 어느 한 명제가 참일 경우, 그 명제는 이미 오늘 참이고 그리고 그의 모순적 반대의 다른 한 명제는 오늘 이미 거짓이다. 만약 오늘 둘 중의 어느 명제가 참인지 이미 결정되어 있다면, 그러한 결정된 사태가 내일 발생되지 않을 조바심에 안달이 날 것이다. 만약, 둘 중의 어떤 한 명제가 참인지 결정되어있지 않으면, 그 역시 내일의 사태가 어떠한 결정적 태도로 주어지고 있지 않은 현재가 찝찔한 것이다. 전자를 결정론, 후자는 비결정론의 입장인데, 에피쿠어의 절충적 의견에 따르면, '눈이 온다'와 그리고 '눈이 오지 않는다'는 둘 다의 결과들이 가능하다. 그에 따르면 실제로 일어나는 것만 가능하므로, 세계의 전 과정에서 결코 일어나지 않았던 것은 언제라도 가능하지 않았다. 전자를 대표하는 디오도어는 현존하는 한 언명은 시간의 질서 안에서 가까운 훗날에나 먼 훗날에도 명제 논리적으로 결정되어있다고 주장한다. 이에 후자를 표방한 크리십은 한 언명의 결과는 그의 모든 조건들이 채워진다면 가능하고, 그의 필연적인 조건들이 결코 충족적으로 채워지지 않으면 다른 한 결과는 결코 일어나지 않는다고 주장한다. 여기서 벌어진 논쟁에서 본고는 명제의 가치를 선형적 구조의 시간에서 해석한 디오도어의 결정론에 대하여 흐트러진 시간의 구조에서 해석한 크리십의 숙명론의 논의의 대비를 보여줄 것이다.

1,2-Disubstituted chiral calix[4]arene "25-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyloxy)-26-methoxy-27,28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene" was synthesized by the reaction of 25-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyloxy)-calix[4]arene with methyl iodide in the presence of K2CO3. Methylation was occurred at the 26-position of calix[4]arene. The partial cone conformation and 1,2-substitution were characterized based on the 1H NMR, 13C NMR and X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction method. The crystals are orthorhombic, Pbca, a=10.652(1), b=17.687(1), c=32.247(3) Å, Z=8, V=6075.4(9) Å3, Dc=1.38gcm-3. The intensity data were collected on an Enraf-Nonius CAD-4 Diffractometer with a graphite monochromated Cu-Kα radiation. The structure was solved by direct method and refined by full-matrix least-squares methods to a final R value of 0.050 for 2368 observed reflections. The molecule is in the partial cone conformation. It has two strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds of O(1D)-H…O(1C)-H…O(1B).

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of donation campaigns ambassador model in non-profit organizations. To analyze the research hypothesis, the independent variables (high awareness-high expertise, high awareness-low expertise, low awareness-expertise, low awareness-low expertise) and the dependent variables (source credibility, message credibility, attitude toward the organization, and donation intention) were measured. Interaction effect was found on the source credibility, message credibility, and donation intention. The interaction effect showed that public perceived positively if the ambassador has high cognition level on the condition of low expertise. However, the attitude toward the organization according to the PR ambassador type was not significant. The study suggested that the non profit organization would better use the ambassador of high cognition rather than expertise.

The paper aimed to analyze research trends and productivity, targeting papers published for the past 24 years in The Journal of Engineering Education Research, For the research trend analysis, the content analysis was conducted and research productivity of authors was investigated through Lotka's Law. The research subject were 897 papers published on The Journal of Engineering Education Research from 1998 to June 2021. Research findings are as follows. First, the pattern of writing showed that percentage of co-authors over 2 was higher than single author. Second, the authors were most likely to belong the university, followed by government agency, affiliated organization and Research institutes in universities. Third, the flow of records in giving paper showed that the number of continuants has decreased over time and only a few writers have presented their papers. Fourth, the analysis results on the research productivity discovered difference in actual figure and revised, theoretical one, which indicates that Lotka's Law was not applied to The Journal of Engineering Education Research. Based on findings as shown below, we suggested a series of plans to develop The Journal of Engineering Education Research and increase research productivity in future.

Objective: This study attempts to gauge the necessity of contraceptive education for women defecting from North Korea (NKDWs). Methods: We conducted in-depth interviews with six NKDWs who had lived in the Republic of Korea (ROK) for more than three years, to understand the subjects' perceptions, experiences, and opinions regarding contraception. Thematic analyses were performed using qualitative data provided in the survey results. Results: Before their defections from North Korea, none of the NKDWs had received any sex education. Loop is the only contraceptive method available to married women in ROK. After defection, NKDWs were provided information about contraceptive options available in China, but they could not fully understand this information. Furthermore, the information they received was not accurate. Thus, NKDWs had a high need for contraceptive sex education. As per our survey, their preferred education method was at least 3 lessons plus 1 : 1 counseling, as necessary. Conclusion: This study indicates that a necessity exists for development of a sex education program for NKDWs to enhance their contraceptive knowledge. Thus, government and health managers have a role to play in developing such a program.
