고분해능 XRD를 이용한 150 mm 사파이어 웨이퍼의 정밀한 면방위 측정

  • 사파이어 단결정은 LED 소자의 기판으로 널리 사용되고 있으며 현재 소재 수율을 향상시키기 위하여 6인치 이상의 대구경 웨이퍼를 만들기 위하여 많은 노력을 경주하고 있다. 단결정, 특히 반도체 단결정 웨이퍼에서($00{\cdot}1$), ($11{\cdot}0$) 등의 어떠한 결정학적인 방위(crystallographic orientation)가 표면과 이루는 각도, 즉 표면방위각(off-cut 또는 misorientation angle)의 크기와 방향은 제조된 LED 소자의 물성에 영향을 끼치므로 웨이퍼를 가공할 때 정확하게 컨트롤해야한다. 본 연구에서는 고분해능 X-선을 이용하여 표면이 결정학적 방향과 이루는 면방위각을 정밀하게 결정하는 측정법을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 ASTM 의 측정법과는 다른 원리를 이용하고 웨이퍼의 휨(bending)이나 측정고니오 회전축의 편심과 무관하게 표면방위각을 결정하는 새로운 이론적 모델을 제시하고 그 모델을 적용하여 표면의 수직축이 대구경 사파이어($00{\cdot}1$) 축과 이루는 표면방위각을 정확하게 측정 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 측정방법의 장점을 이용하여 ASTM의 측정법과 면방위 측정 결과를 비교 분석 하였다. 150 mm 사파이어 웨이퍼를 ASTM의 방법으로 면방위를 측정하였을 때 고분해능 장비에서 회전축 ${\Phi}$의 기준을 다르게 설정함에 따라서 수직/수평 면방위 측정결과가 많은 차이를 보였다. 그러나 본 연구에서 사용한 측정법에서는 이러한 수직/수평 면방위의 값들이 거의 변화하지 않고 일정하게 나타나는 것을 확인 하였으며, 측정한150 mm 사파이어 웨이퍼의 표면방위각은 $0.21^{\circ}$이고 표면각이 나타나는 방향은 웨이퍼의 primary edge 방향으로부터 $1.2^{\circ}$벗어나 있는 방향이었다.

Optimum Reinforcement Conditions of Large Diameter Reinforcement for Steep Slope of Conventional Railway Embankment under Train Loading (기존선 성토사면 급구배화를 위한 열차 하중 하 대구경 봉상보강재의 최적 보강조건)

  • A reinforcement is required to ensure the structural safety in case of railway embankment excavation under railway load. A large diameter soil nailing with concrete wall is applied as the reinforcement method instead of the conventional soil nailing system. In this study, a series of 3 dimensional numerical analyses are performed to investigate the optimum reinforcement considering 15 different conditions based on the length, lateral spacing, diameter, and inclination of the reinforcement. The interface between soil nail and perimetric grout is considered by means of cohesion, stiffness and perimeter of the grout. 0.3 m of reinforcement diameter is assessed as the most appropriate based on the economical viewpoint though ground displacement decreases with the increase of diameter, however the difference of displacement is negligible between 0.4 m and 0.3 m of diameter. Surface settlement, lateral displacement of wall, and stress of reinforcement are calculated and economic viewpoint to reinforce embankment considered. Consequently, the optimum reinforcement conditions considering those factors are evaluated as 3 m in length, 0.3 m in diameter, 1.5 m in lateral spacing, and 10 degree of inclination angle in the case of 3 m of excavation depth. Additionally, inclined potential failure surface occurs with approximately 60 degrees from the end of nails and the surface settlement and wall lateral displacement are restrained successfully by the large diameter soil nailing, based on the result of shear strain rate.

Automatic Drawing and Structural Editing of Road Lane Markings for High-Definition Road Maps (정밀도로지도 제작을 위한 도로 노면선 표시의 자동 도화 및 구조화)

  • High-definition road maps are used as the basic infrastructure for autonomous vehicles, so the latest road information must be quickly reflected. However, the current drawing and structural editing process of high-definition road maps are manually performed. In addition, it takes the longest time to generate road lanes, which are the main construction targets. In this study, the point cloud of the road lane markings, in which color types(white, blue, and yellow) were predicted through the PointNet model pre-trained in previous studies, were used as input data. Based on the point cloud, this study proposed a methodology for automatically drawing and structural editing of the layer of road lane markings. To verify the usability of the 3D vector data constructed through the proposed methodology, the accuracy was analyzed according to the quality inspection criteria of high-definition road maps. In the positional accuracy test of the vector data, the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) for horizontal and vertical errors were within 0.1m to verify suitability. In the structural editing accuracy test of the vector data, the structural editing accuracy of the road lane markings type and kind were 88.235%, respectively, and the usability was verified. Therefore, it was found that the methodology proposed in this study can efficiently construct vector data of road lanes for high-definition road maps.

The differences of STO between before and after presurgical orthodontics in skeletal Class III malocclusions (골격성 III급 부정교합자에서 술 전 교정치료 전과 후의 수술계획의 차이)

  • Objective: To evaluate the discrepancies between initial STO and final STO in Class III malocclusions and to find which factors are related to the discrepancies. Methods: Twenty patients were selected for the extraction group and 20 patients for the non-extraction group. They were diagnosed as skeletal Class III and received presurgical orthodontic treatment and mandibular set-back surgery at Pusan National University Hospital. The lateral cephalograms were analyzed for initial STO (T1s) at pretreatment and final STO (T2s) after presurgical orthodontic treatment, and specified the landmarks 3s coordinates of the X and V axes. Results: Differences in hard tissue points (T1s-T2s) in the X coordinates of upper central incisor edge, upper first molar mesial end surface, lower central incisor apex, lower first molar mesial end surface and mesio-buccal cusp and Y coordinates of upper central incisor edge, upper central incisor apex, upper first molar mesio-buccal cusp were statistically significant in the extraction group. Differences in hard tissue points (T1s-T2s) in the X coordinates of upper central incisor edge, lower central incisor apex, lower first molar mesial end surface and Y coordinates of lower central incisor apex were statistically significant in the non-extraction group. In the extraction group, the upper arch length discrepancy (UALD) had a statistically significant effect on maxillary incisor and first molar estimation. Lower arch length discrepancy and IMPA had statistically significant effects on mandibular incisor estimation in both groups. Conclusions: Discrepancies between initial STO and final STO and factors contributing to the accuracy of initial STO must be considered in treatment planning of Class III surgical patients to increase the accuracy of prediction.

  • To achieve an esthetic restoration, visualized information considering the facial aspect of patient is required. As for the reasons of esthetic failure, it could be explained by lack of communication and information such as horizontal, vertical and esthetic line. Therefore, it is important to deliver that the visualized information to dental technicians or other dentists for the success of esthetic treatment. This case report presents the process of visualizing esthetic information and designing the restoration using a digital diagnostic tool; Digital Smile Design.

Altitude Estimation Improvement in DGPS using Barometric Altitude Sensors (기압 고도계를 이용한 DGPS 고도측정 향상)

  • DGPS provides less altitude accuracy than horizontal accuracy according to geometric characteristics of GPS satellite arrangement. To assist DGPS altitude measurements, two barometric altitude sensors were used and set up at the mobile and the reference station respectively to get the differential altitude. This differential altitude is coupled with the DGPS altitude measurement by a Kalman filter so that the improved altitude is estimated. The differential altitude is based on the relative altitude measurement but results in providing the absolute altitude. The precision of this differential altitude is verified by experiments in accordance with a baseline length.

  • 5G와 IoT로 인한 무선 트래픽 급증에 대응하기 위해서는, 무선망 성능 및 주파수효율 향상, 신규주파수할당, 주파수 공동사용 기술 개발 등이 복합적으로 적용되어야 달성 가능하다. 그의 일환으로, LTE를 비면허 대역에 사용하려는 LTE-U(Long Term Evolution-Unlicensed)라는 새로운 패러다임의 수평적 주파수 공동사용 기술을, 이동통신에 적용하려는 시도가 진행되고 있다. LTE-A의 주파수 집성기술을 활용하여, 1차 캐리어를 면허 대역 LTE 기반으로 하고, 2차 캐리어를 비면허 대역 LTE로 묶어서 고속으로 데이터를 전송하는 기술이다. 우선적으로 5GHz 비면허 대역에 적용을 검토하고 있는데, 기존에 사용하던 Wi-Fi 및 기상레이다 등과의 공정한 공존(fair coexistence)이 가장 중요하다. 따라서 각국의 5GHz 주파수 대역 규제 현황, 공존을 위한 LBT(Listen-Before-Talk)통신 메커니즘, 표준화 현황을 살펴본다. 또한 이해 당사자인 Wi-Fi, LTE, 이용자, 기술기준의 입장을 살펴보고, 구현이슈, 지적소유권 동향 등을 검토하고, 기술적 및 정책적 대응전략을 살펴본다.

  • 철강석 또는 석탄의 적치장에서는 이들 원석을 퍼내어 용광로로 보내주는 불출기(reclaimer)가 사용되고 있다. 불출기를 자동화하려면 야적파일에 불출용 회전 버킷(bucket)을 자동착지시키는 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 야적 파일 표면위의 버킷 착지점을 추출하는 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 파일의 3차원 형상 검출, 파일의 등고선 추출, 불출기의 역기구학해의 도출 및 착지점 추출 알고리즘으로 이루어진다. 파일의 3차원 형상과 거리를 측정하기 위한 3차원 형상 검출기가 2차원 레이저 검출기에 수평주사(scanning)용 모터를 부착하여 개발하였고, 다 단계의 영상처리를 통해 버킷이 작업할 수 있도록 파일의 작업 등고선을 추출하였다. 불출기가 회전 버킷에 의해 기구학적으로 여유자유도로 이루어 졌음을 보였으며, 역기구학 해를 구하는 방법을 아울러 제시하였다. 그리고 버킷의 착지점을 과부하 방지와 단위 시간당 생산성을 최대화하는 성능기준에 근거하여 구하였다. 또한 개발된 시스템을 제철소 원석 야적장의 불출기에 설치 시험하여 타당성을 입증하였다.

Evaluation of Track irregularity due to Adjacent Excavation Work on Serviced Urban Transit (도시철도 인접굴착공사에 따른 운행선 궤도의 궤도틀림 분석)

  • In this study, finite element analysis was performed to evaluate the track irregularity of the existing track system on urban transit according to the large-scale excavation work that is constructed adjacent to the serviced line. Based on the numerical analysis, the effect of track irregularity generated during the step-by-step construction process was analytically derived, and the stability in terms of track deformation was evaluated through comparison with related standards. As the results, in the case of track irregularity items evaluated based on the relative displacement difference at a certain distance, such as alignment and vertical irregularity, it occurred most clearly at the location where deformation of the existing structure begins, such as the end point of adjacent excavation work. On the other hand, the overall vertical and horizontal displacement of the track was the largest deformation at the center of the construction section. The vulnerable position of the deformed side of the existing structure due to adjacent excavation is analytically proven that the both of the end point section and the center of the construction can be a vulnerable position in terms of track irregularity.

A Case Study on the Application of Machine Guidance in Construction Field (공사 현장에서의 Machine Guidance 적용에 관한 사례연구)

  • Manpower in domestic construction sites is becoming more and more aging. Various methods have been devised to prevent productivity and quality deterioration of construction due to absence of skilled workers and difficulty in supplying manpower. Especially, many researchers study various methods such as Machine Guidance (MG) and Remote Machine Control to improve productivity and quality. Although many prior studies have been conducted since the advent of MG, There is lack of field test in a difficult site to stakeout. In this study, field test of MG excavator was carried out at difficult site to stakeout, and productivity analysis and quality evaluation were conducted. As a result of the analysis of productivity, the minimum value was 20.5%, the maximum value was 56.9%, and the average productivity in 4 days was 38.3% higher than the standard product. As a result of the analysis of quality, the horizontal error ${\pm}1cm$ and the vertical error ${\pm}2cm$ confirmed in the previous study were verified.
