Estimation of bearing error of line array sonar system caused by bottom bounced path (해저면 반사신호의 선 배열 소나 방위 오차 해석)

  • The Line array sonar consisting of several hydrophones increases array gain and improves the performance for detecting the direction of the target compared to single hydrophone. However, line array sonar produces the bearing error that makes it difficult to determine the bearing of incoming source signal due to the relation between bearing angle of target and vertical angle of multipath signals. Vertical angles of multipath are varied with the geometry of receiver and target and various underwater environments, therefore it is necessary to consider the bearing error to estimate accurately the bearing of the target. In this study, acoustic modelling was performed to understand the effect of multipath signals on the target signal. The errors of bearing angle estimated from the bottom bounced signals are calculated with several environment. In addition, the expected bearing line, as a function of source-receiver range, compensated for the bearing error is predicted from the estimated bearing angle.

  • 현재까지도 대부분의 필기체 한글 인식은 완벽한 분할을 가정하여 개발되고 있으며 한글 분할 그 자체에 대한 관심은 매우 낮은 편이다. 또한 한글은 자소의 모아쓰기 형태를 갖고 있어 문자내에 여백이 존재할 뿐만 아니라 문자와 문자 사이의 접촉되는 특징이 흔히 발생되기 때문에 기존의 영문자에 사용된 방법을 그대로 직접 적용하기에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 무제약 필기체 한글을 분할하기 위하여 가상 분할경로를 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 기존의 분할 방법들이 갖는 직선화된 분할경로 뿐만 아니라 문자내에 존재하는 여백의 정보를 활용하여 꺽은선 분할경로를 주로 이용하는데 특징이 있다. 분할과정은 크게 2단계로 구성되는데 첫 번째 단계는 입력받은 한글 문자열에 대한 전처리 과정과 수직투영을 통해 직선화된 분할경로를 찾고 이에 따라 쉽게 분할 가능한 문자와 중첩되거나 접촉된 문자를 구분하여 다음 단계의 분할대상으로 결정한다. 두 번째 단계에서는 다양한 가상의 꺽은선 분할경로를 생성하기 위하여 각 문자에서 특징점을 추출하고, 인접한 특징점들 간의 무게 중심점을 찾아서 더 세밀한 경로 생성을 함으로서 가장 최상의 분할경로를 결정한다.

Vertical Evacuation Speed in Stairwell of a High-rise Office Building (업무용 고층건물 계단실의 보행속도에 관한 연구)

  • As building height is increased, more careful decisions about the required safe egress time is needed for evacuation. This study analyzed the influence of three training sessions on the vertical speed of evacuation in the high rise building. Evacuation experiments were done in a high-rise office building in Seoul, and we analyzed the vertical evacuation speed as a function of density using a camera. Controlled and uncontrolled total evacuation were compared using the Pathfinder simulation. The process of repeated training, changed the specific stair utilization rate from 6.3% to 39.5%. The vertical evacuation speed as a function of density was analyzed using the equation s = 1.004 ? 0.288D, which is very similar to the equation used in a different study. The total evacuation time of the special controlled total evacuation was reduced by about 25% compared to the simultaneous evacuation.

  • In this paper, we analyzed Alamouti based the MIMO-OFDM system in an underwater vertical communication channels. These in consideration both the transmission loss the multipath loss which is suitable for underwater environment are necessary method to improve the efficiency and communication performance in underwater communication. This paper is modeled in an environment that caused the error, considered each simulated the multi-path loss, transmission loss, the Doppler spread in order to implement a practical communication environment and simulated through the MIMO-OFDM system of Alamouti STBC method. The MIMO-OFDM system 2Tx-2Rx of Alamouti STBC scheme in underwater vertical communication system is obtained about 3~5 dB gain as compare with its 2Tx-1Rx scheme with reference $10^{-3}$ BER.

  • This paper have examined how industrial restructuring had been undertaken in response to economic crises in both Stuttgart, the hometown of the German automaker Daimler-Benz and Turin, that of the Italian automaker Fiat, in terms of changes in regional governances. Based upon this comparison, their micro dynamics have been examined that the transformation of automotive production systems from vertical integration to vertical disintegration had produced different regional development paths. It is argued that the recent transformation of auto production systems does not lead to a global convergence, but it reveals a local divergence based upon its locally embedded heritages, which is closely related to regional governances among the economic agents in question.

  • 데이터 웨어하우스는 방대한 이력 데이터들을 저장하는 저장소이며, 이를 다양한 관점에서 분석하기 위해 OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) 연산을 이용한다. 일반적으로 이러한 저장소는 데이터를 저장할 때 많은 열(columns) 을 기반으로 저장하는 와이드(wide) 형태의 테이블로 저장하게 된다. 하지만, 관계형 DBMS에서는 열 수의 제약(MS SQLServer, Oracle 등 열의 수는 1024개임)을 받게 되므로, 그 이상의 열들을 저장할 수 없다. 하지만, 열 기반(이하, 수평 테이블)으로 저장하는 것보다는 관계형 DBMS의 특징을 이용하여 행(row) 기반(이하, 수직 테이블)으로 저장하게 되면 많은 데이터를 효율적으로 저장할 수 있다. 이때, 저장 테이블의 스키마 구조가 변경되므로, 수평 테이블에 대한 질의도 저장된 수직 테이블에 적용 가능하도록 변화시켜야 한다. 또한, 사용자에게 빠른 질의 응답을 제공하기 위해 질의 최적화를 고려하여 실행전락을 세워야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경험(heuristic)을 근거로 각 연산(프로젝션, 실렉션, 조인 연산)을 위한 질의 트리를 생성하여 질의 최적화에 대한 여러 질의 경로를 고려하고, 다양한 실험을 통해 질의 최적화에 대한 접근 경로들을 분석한다. 이로써, 본 연구의 질의 경로 분석을 기반으로 최적화 실행 계획을 기대해 본다.

  • 동해 울릉분지에서 1998년 8월 수중 폭발성 음원인 SUS를 이용하여 수온구조를 파악하기 위하여 해양음향 토모그래피 실험을 수행하였다. 실험은 관측해역 중앙에 수직선배열 수신기(수심 270-360m, 10개)를 설치하고 수신기를 중심으로 반경 30km와 603m에서 항공기를 이용하여 SUS charge(244m)를 36개 지점에 투하하였다. 역산결과와 비교하기 위해 AXBT를 이용하여 각 지점에 대한 수직 수온관측이 동시에 수행되었다. 도달시간 계산을 위해 폭발수심 및 시간은 실험식을 이용하였으며 이를 이용하여 음선경로별 도달시간을 관측하였다. 수직단면 수층을 여러 충으로 나누어 격자별 음선 전파거리를 계산, 표준해양에 대한 도달시간 차이를 이용한 역산 결과는 관측결과와 비교했을 떼 각각의 결과는 차이가 있었으나 전반적인 경향은 유사하게 나타났다.

  • 'Visual segment surface' means a surface that extends from the missed approach point of non precision approaches (or the decision altitude location for approaches with vertical guidance and precision approaches) to the threshold to facilitate the identification of and protection from obstacles in this visual segment of the approach. Validation is the necessary final quality assurance step in the procedure design process, prior to publication. The purpose of validation is the verification of all obstacle and navigation data, and assessment of flyability of the procedure. This paper shows how to apply the protection for the visual segment of the approach procedure, and the results of the validation for visual segment surface conducted at an airport.

  • Most space-borne optical scanning systems adopt linear arrayconfigurations. The well-knownthree different types of space-borne sensors arealong-track line scanner, across-track linescanner, and three line scanner. To acquire accurate location information of an object on the ground withthose sensors, the exterior and interior orientation parameters are critical factors for both of space-borne and airborne missions. Since the imaging geometry of sensors mightchange time to time due to thermal influence, vibration, and wind, it is very important to analyze the Interior Orientation Parameters (IOP) effects on the ground. The experiments based on synthetic datasets arecarried out while the focal length biases are changing. Also, both high and low altitudes of the imagingsensor were applied. In case with the along-track line scanner, the focal length bias caused errors along the scanline direction. In the other case with the across-track one, the focal length bias caused errors alongthe scan line and vertical directions. Lastly, vertical errors were observed in the case ofthree-line scanner. Those results from this study will be able to provide the guideline for developing new linearsensors, so as for improving the accuracy of laboratory or in-flight sensor calibrations.

  • The cultured stain fungus isolated firstly from discolored wood of Pinus rigida was inoculated on wood blocks to investigate the invading pathway of the fungus. The inoculated fungus rapidly colonized in the ray parenchyma and moved radially along them. In process of time the fungus penetrated tracheids where it started to move into vertical direction. After 90 days the fungus colonized all over the wood tissue, therefore some cell lumens were filled with full of hyphae. In addition methanol extracts did not affect the invading pathway of the stain fungus.
