A Study on Tensile Restraint Crack Critical Stress Characteristcs of Gravity-Wet-Type Underwater Welded Joints (중력식 습식 수중용접부의 인강구속균열 임계응력 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the characteristics of TRC (tensile restraint crack) critical stress in the gravity type underwater wet welding process and in the in-air welding have been investigated for Y, y and 45$^{\circ}$r grooves using the KR Grade A-3 steel plates and the E4303 covered electrodes. The following results were obtained: (1) In the TRC tests, the initial critical stress of Y groove is higher than those of the 45$^{\circ}$r single bebel grooves in both in-air and underwater weldings, and the cold fracture sensitivity is higher in the underwater welding than in the in-air welding. (2) The hardness of underwater weld metal is the highest in heat affected zone is about Hk 365 in the in-air weld but Hk 670 in the underwater weld which is higher for cooling speed is more rapid, resulting in the lower critical stress by increase of fracture sensitivity. (3) The diffusible hydrogen quantity for 48 hours is about 18cc/100g-weld-metal in the in-air welding but 48cc/100g-weld-metal in the underwater welding. So that, in the case of underwater welding the diffusible hydrogen penetrates about 3 times more than that in the in-air welding.

  • Underwater acoustic sensors are mounted on unmanned underwater vehicles(UUV) and detect and process the underwater information. These underwater acoustic sensor designs are very important subject for understanding and applying engineering. Therefore, in this paper, it was designed and fabricated the acoustic sensors step by step, evaluated their performance, and then studied the suitability of such a series of design procedures and steps to apply them to the integrated design learning. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the steps and methods of the proposed sensor design are suitable for the contents of the integrated design project, and they are easy to acquire the technology and are very interesting design topics. It is anticipated that when the design project is applied to the integrated design in the future, high educational achievement will be achieved.

  • 현행 어구로는 제반 수행되는 문제점과 생력형 조업시스템으로의 개선이 어렵기 때문에 이를 달성하기 위해서는 기계화 조업을 실행할 수 이는 새로운 어구를 개발하여야 가능하다는 결론이 현장 조사에서 나타났다. 본 연구는 먼저, 현행 어구에 죔줄 채택 가능성을 조사하기 위해 1/100로 축소한 모형어구에 단지 죔줄 부착에 의한 조업과정별 수중형상 변화, 침강력 등 어구의 특징을 수조실험을 통해 분석하였다.(중략)

  • 최근 우리나라의 해양플랜트 산업 성장과 관련하여 이 같은 산업에 종사하는 필수 인력 가운데 각종 수중작업을 수행하는 고도의 기술을 가진 인적 자원의 확보가 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라의 산업잠수 종사자 교육 및 훈련실태 그리고 자격요건 등을 조사하고, 선진국에서의 Offshore Diver 종사자를 위한 교육 및 훈련과정과 자격인증 제도 현황을 조사 비교하여 향후 우리나라의 Offshore Diver 인력양성 및 교육의 제반여건을 마련하는데 기초 자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다.

입지 여건에 따른 항로표지시설 계획

  • 항로표지시설은 방파제 상치, 노출암, 수중암, 산지 정상 등 다양한 입지에 건설되었으며, 항로표지시설에 대한 정밀안전진단결과(침하, 경사, 전도, 활동, 파손, 균열, 박리, 마모, 침식, 세굴 등) 내구수명은 파랑 및 조류 등 해양환경에 직접적으로 노출된 경우 20년, 비교적 해양환경에 노출이 심하지 않은 경우 40년 정도로 조사되었다. 안전진단 결과 등급이 낮은 순으로 항로표지시설 개량공사 계획이 수립 되고 있으며, 입지 여건에 따른 철거 및 시공방법에 대한 다양한 사례를 조사하여 시공기술을 제시하였다.

  • In the KRISO cavitation tunnel, the acoustic characteristics for the measurement of underwater noise are investigated, The background noise is measured and analyzed up to 100kHz at various test conditions. The noise level of the KRISO cavitation tunnel is compared with those of the other cavitation tunnels which have been designed for the noise study[HYKAT(Germany), GTH(France), etc.]. In order to investigate the background noise source. the coherence between structural vibration and noise level is analyzed using the B&K 3550 FFT analyzer. The experimental results show the possibility of the noise study and suggest the improvement plan.
