The key feature of the $7^{th}$ Education curriculum, which is applied by order by year from 2000, is represented by differentiated curriculum. In order to embody differentiated curriculum, it is extensively recommended the level-based instruction. Level-based class basically has purposes to give students matched study experiences in accordance with their abilities and to help all students to understand what they have learned through providing differentiated instruction with considering the learners' stand points. The preceding researches have reported many cases about operating methods and educational effectiveness for the level-based instruction. In the meantime, researches about students' acceptances or opinions related to the level-based instruction are not sufficient. In this research, students opinions about level-based instruction are analyzed, based on the distinction of sex and level, and improving operational methods are suggested.

In this study, we estimate the effect of ability grouping on mathematics achievement empirically. We use propensity score matching(PSM) method to minimize selection bias and estimate the effect of ability grouping on the mathematics standard score of Scholastic Ability Test with the KELS(Korea Education Longitudinal Study) 6th stage data. The result indicated that relationship between ability grouping and mathematics achievement is positive and Policy efforts is needed to operate ability grouping effectively.

최근에 들어 교육현장에서 수준별 교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 그러나 적은 수의 교사로 많은 수의 학습자를 수준별로 교육하는 것은 쉽지 않은 일이다. 조별 이동이나 급간 이동으로 수준을 나누어 교육하고 있으나 변화하는 학습자의 정확한 수준 측정 및 이동이 어렵다. 또한 CAI(Computer Aided Instruction) 프로그램이 많이 보급되었지만 수업 외 시간에 학습자 스스로 반복 훈련을 통한 학습을 강조하므로 교실 수업에 적용하기는 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 수업시간 교사의 지도하에 웹을 기반으로한 교수-학습을 통해 각 학생들의 수준을 평가한 후 수준에 맞는 학습과 보충 및 심화학습이 이루어질 수 있는 웹기반 수준별 교수-학습 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

Now, most of programs developed were presented as form of item pool by dividing problems by section and level for the level differentiated course, so the utilization is decreasing at the field caused by unconsidered school underachievement elements by achievement. Especially, the study on teaching materials and effective measures map for mid-low level students with low utilization is more urgent. Therefore, in this study we will promote teaching method for improving learning achievement at high school. The development teaching materials(the performance evaluation and diagnostic assessment, reconstruction of textbooks) will be applied to classes for the underachieving students directly, and the achievement in the experimental class was significantly improved compared to the comparative class and the meaningful conclusions could be drawn as results of conducting same assessment based on the experimental class and the comparative class.

The revised mathematics education curriculum in 2007 decided to introduce mathematics workbooks to the textbook system, which were supplemental textbooks to support mathematics teachers' teaching and students' learning in level-based classroom. This study is to find the field status whether the middle school mathematics workbooks are currently used in the school to be in line with the original intention and purpose and to discuss the improvement direction and effective utilization idea which modification and amendment shall be made for the effective utilization in the field. To achieve the goal of this study, the inquiry survey was made from 75 middle school teachers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in the middle schools where the moving classing for each level(or class in each level)has been performed with provision of the questionnaire sheet for the understanding of the teachers for the utilization status of the mathematics workbook to solve such study task.

In this paper, we designed an open class teaching model in level-based team arrangements. In this way, teaching lesson plans were newly developed in order to teach students in open classroom environments. Both teachers and students required enough time to be acquainted with the new approach. However, empirical data analyses of mid-term and final examinations as well as survey data mathematical achievements indicated that most of the students have shown interests in mathematical activities and confidences on their mathematical abilities. Furthermore, there were few students who seemed to be isolated from mathematical activities. In particular, most students didn't seem to get lower grades than expected from other teachers who hesitated to apply the new model.

In this thesis we have developed an algorithm to evaluate each student's level of understanding and find out which subjects they are not good at when they get on-line lectures at a cyber university. This algorithm is based on fuzzy logic using each student's scores adjusted according to the level of difficulty. In addition, we also introduced a "duplex intellectual lecturing system" and an "evaluation method based on the level of understanding." With the duplex intellectual lecturing system students can ask questions on line at a cyber university and under the new evaluation method, there is no need for students to move between classes. As a result of a computer simulation test, the duplex on-line lecturing system has proven to be more effective than the current one-way cyber lecturing system.

제7차 교육과정은 선택과목을 확대하고 수준별 수업을 유도하고 있다. 이러한 방식에 따르면 중고등학생들이 대학에서처럼 자신이 수강신청한 과목에 따라 교실간에 이동하게 된다. 학교당국과 학생들이 기존 교실 환경내에서 이러한 교육적 변화를 적극적으로 수용할 수 있도록 소프트웨어적인 보조가 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 시간표 작성 , 시설 배치도 작성, 교실 배정, 교실 위치 및 시간표 보기, 그리고 민감도 분석을 위한 통합 시스템을 제안한다.

본 연구는 물리치료학과 학생들을 대상으로 근거중심의 학습을 통해 학습 이해도와 성취도, 실무능력을 증진시키고자 하는 연구를 실시하였다. 과학적이고 근거중심의 단계별 수업을 이수한 1학년 대상자인 17명이 연구에 참여하였고, 남자와 여자로 구분하여 강의전, 후로 나누었다. 성별에 따른 성취도 분석과 강의 전, 후에 따른 근거중심 학습의 효용성에 관한 특성을 비교하였다. 통계처리 방법으로 실험 전 후 차이를 검증하였고, 모든 통계적 유의수준은 0.05로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 근거중심 학습의 필요성, 학습 시너지 효과, 전문학술지 접근도에서 강의 전에 비해 후에 유의한 감소를 보였다. 향후 저학년인 1, 2학년 물리치료학과 학생들에게 흥미를 유발하고 동기를 부여하여 저널 탐색을 통한 임상 물리치료에 대한 접근도를 강화시킬 필요가 있고 이를 통해 이론중심의 수업보다 실무중심의 명확한 근거 위주의 수업을 지향해야 할 필요성이 있다고 생각한다.

정보통신 기술 발달에 따른 사회적 변화는 생활 전반에 중대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 교육 분야에서도 수준별 교육과정을 통하여 자기주도적 학습을 강조하면서 초등 과학과의 목표에서도 과학적 소양의 함양이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 과학과의 다양한 분야를 직접 실험할 수 없는 문제점 등을 해결 하는 방안으로 전자적 도구의 활용 방안-전자교과서-이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 전자교과서에 대한 개념을 정리하고, 초등학교 과학과 '열의 이동과 우리 생활' 단원을 대상으로 전자교과서를 개발하여, 현장 수업을 통해 전자교과서의 학습효과를 검증하고자 한다.
