정부는 2017년까지 뇌 연구분야 세계 7위 진입을 목표로 연구개발 인프라 인력양성 등의 분야에 2009년에 총 610억 원을 투자한다. 인간의 뇌 정보를 활용할 수 있는 인지 메커니즘에 대한 분석이 이루어진다면, 인간과 같이 스스로 생각하고 느끼는 수준의 인공두뇌 및 인간형 로봇 개발이 가능하게 되고, 생각만으로 제어하는 뇌-컴퓨터 뇌-로봇 뇌-기계 인터페이스 기술로 사용자의 뇌파 혹은 신경 근육신호 등에 따라 알아서 움직이는 휠체어나 인공수족, 자동차, 비행기 등이 가까운 시일 내에 실현될 것으로 기대된다. 이에 인지과학의 한 분야인 증강인지(augmented cognitive)와 HCI 기술의 교집합 영역에서의 응용연구 이슈를 탐색하기 위해 인지과학의 개요, 증강인지의 출현 증강인지 시스템 모델, 프로젝트 사례 등에 대한 자료 수집 및 분석 내용을 본 고에 서술코자 한다.

Objectives : Hand-Foot-Mouth disease is a highly contagious disease most often seen in children. It is caused most commonly by the coxsackievirus A16 and clinically characterized by vesicles appearing on the hands, feet and in the mouth. The purpose of this study is a approach to the oriental medical treatment of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease. Method : We studied the clinical literatures of traditional chinese medicine about Hand-Foot-Mouth disease after the year 2000. Result : Hand-Foot-Mouth disease are similar to epidemic febrile disease(溫病) dampwarm syndrome(濕溫), and epidemic disease(時疫) in Oriental Medicine. Conclusion : In oriental medical treatment is classified into the treatment of internal use, external use, and combination treatment of chinese and western medicine.

The meridians pathway on the hand and neck studies connection with craniospinal nerve to obtain result fellowing items. 1. Large Intestine Meridian of Hand-yang ming, Small Intestine Meridian of Hand-tai yang. The author studied 49 cases having neurologic disorders grossly, who admitted to the Oriental Medicine Hospital in Kyunghee university from May 1995 to March 1999. We have got the following results: 1. Age and sex distribution of children: from 4 to 6 was 34.7%, over 7 was 32.7%, 2 to 3 was 28.6%, below 1 was 4.0%, Male to female ratio was 1.33:1. 2. Distribution of chief complain as follows : Hemiplegia 59.2%, Quadriplegia 30.6%, Aphasia 42.9%, Facial palsy 18.4%, Convulsion 16.3%, Aphagia 12.2%. 3. Distribution of diagnosis as follows : Cerebral infarction 32.7%, Cerebral hemorrhage 12.2%, Hypoxic brain damage 10.2%, Brain tumor 6.1%, Guillian-Barre syndrom 6.1%, Moya-Moya disease 4.1% etc. 4. Improvement ratio as follows : Poor 14.3%, Fair 59.2%, Good 26.5%.

Myositis ossificans progressiva, otherwise called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva is a rare hereditary disease of unknown etiology, which is characterized by progressive ectopic ossification in connective tissues of the muscles, tendons, fascia and aponeurosis. We report a case of myositis ossificans progressiva confined to hands and feet, which has an unusual clinical feature with slow progression.

본 논문에서는 일반적인 수족관에서 물고기를 관찰하는데 있어서 관찰자가 빠르고 효율적으로 물고기에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 여러 종의 물고기가 살고 있는 수족관 환경에서 처음 보는 관찰자과 쉽게 물고기에 대한 정보를 얻기는 힘들다. 이러한 제약을 효과적으로 개선하기 위하여 반 투영 거울을 사용하는 공간 증강 현실을 위한 영상출력 기법을 이용한다. 이때 피사체의 위치 정보를 얻기 위해 배경인 수족관영상과 피사체인 물고기영상을 분리한 후 물고기의 깊이 정보 값을 추출하기 위하여 호모그래피 행렬을 이용하고 보정된 이미지를 계산 한다. 실험결과 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 통해 구축한 이 시스템으로 관찰자는 각각의 물고기들에 대한 정보를 반응형 Annotation으로 쉽게 얻을 수 있었다.

Objectives : This study was conducted to establish a standard and classify suitability in the treatment of limb impediment among the children with development disabilities using bee venom and eight principles herbal acupuncture. Methods : 10 patients with pediatric development disabilities with limb impediment as the main symptoms were chosen in this study. Bee venom herbal acupuncture and eight principles herbal acupuncture treatments were rendered and evaluated responses as well as pursuing most proper treatment methods. Results : 1. Bee venom herbal acupuncture showed a significant effects when used as supplement treatment technique for the children with partial movement, but insignificant for the children whom were unable to move. 2. Bee venom was effective for severe limb impediment and limb asthenia, whileas eight principles herbal acupuncture effective for mild limb impediment and spasticity. 3. Bee venom herbal acupuncture used in conjunction with eight principles herbal acupuncture for treating limb impediment among the children with development disabilities showed general improvement by intensifying muscular strength.

Hand-Foot-Mouth disease, which has a various enanthem-exanthem complex at the tongue, buccal mucosa, hands and feets and buttock area with febrile illness, is usually caused by Coxscakie virus type A(16). Generally, this disease shows self limited course and good prognosis without neurologic manifestations. However, enterovirus 71, which was newly discovered and reported in 1974, can cause the striking features of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease outbreaks and has neuropathogenic potentials of polio-like paralytic illness including aseptic meningitis, meningoencephalitis and respiratory disease. We experienced a case of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease with polyradiculitis manifestations, and a case of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease with meningoencephalitis. Therfore, we report these cases with brief review of related literatures.

Objectives The purpose of this case study is to report the improvement of hand foot and mouth disease after using Galgeunhaegi-tang Methods A Taeumin patient suffering from painful hand foot and mouth disease was treated with herb medicine Galgeunhaegi-tang, acupuncture and cupping therapy. Rhei radix et rhizoma was added or removed from herb medicine according to patient's stool condition. Severity of pain and general symptom was measured using Numerical Rating Scale(NRS), and the picture of patient's hand and foot was taken. Results & Conclusions After taking Galgeunhaegi-tang, symptoms including pain, rash, blisters, and general conditions improved as patient's stool condition improved from constipation to normal. In conclusion, this case report shows that Galgeunhaegi-tang can be effective to Taeumin hand foot and mouth disease patients.

This study of purpose was to evaluate the changes in hands and feet temperature by applying massage and paraffin bath.. The subject of this study was 30 university healthy students. Subjects were divided into paraffin bath group and massages group. The digital infrared thermographic imaging was used for thermographic analysis. The visual analog scale was used for subjective information about the degree of cold sensitivity and cold stress test was used for analyzing the temperature recovery rate. After the interventions showed that temperature difference of the right hand and temperature difference of the left hand are less in the paraffin group than the massage group. When applied paraffin bath and massage to the cold hypersensitivity patient the massage group showed difference in the visual analog scale and the paraffin group showed difference in the temperature of the right hand, left hand, left foot and in the visual analog scale. Paraffin bath treatment seems to be useful to patients with cold hypersensitivity on hands and feet.
