  • 본 논문은 고객의 수요정보에 대해 모호한 정보를 가진 공급자와 구매자 사이의 공급망 계약에 관한 것을 다루고 있는 것으로, 고객 수요에 대한 불확실성은 확률적 프로그래밍 모델에서 공식적으로 다루어져왔다. 확률적 프로그램의 한 가지 핵심적인 가정은 널리 알려져 있는바와 같이 수요에 대한 확률분포가 알려져 있다는 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 만약 수요에 대한 정보가 모호하거나 정확하지 않다면 수요에 대한 확률분포가 정확하지 않다는 점이다. 이런 상황에서 퍼지 이론은 수요정보를 나타내는데 유용하다고 할수 있다. 본 논문은 퍼지 랜덤수요변수들을 분산시스템의 공급망 계약에서 다루고 있다. 이 계약은 구매자의 주문량을 조정하는 옵션을 이용한다. 본 연구는 퍼지 랜덤 변수들을 GMIR(Graded Mean Integration Representation)을 이용하여, 알고리즘을 통해 구현함으로써 실증적 결과 값을 제시하고 미래 연구의 확장 가능성을 제시하고 있다.

An Estimation for Highway Trip Demand Functions Based upon Time Series Analysis (시계열 분석을 통한 고속도로 통행수요함수의 추정)

  • The objective of this study is to estimate highway trip demand functions in Korea. In order to estimate them, I propose various socio-economic variables that affect the highway trip demand functions. I use the unit root test for each variable and the cointegration test to and the relationships among variables. Finally, I use the vector error correction model, to get the highway trip demand functions. The implication which I derive from the estimation is that real GDP and highway tolls have positive and negative effects, respectively. on the highway trip demand.

A Causality Analysis on the Relationship Between National Park Visitor Use and Economic Variables (국립공원 탐방수요와 경제변수간의 인과성 분석)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between visitor uses of national parks and economic variables, such as the index of industrial product and the consumer price index. The results from the Granger Causality test showed that the index of industrial product and the consumer price index influenced visitor use at national parks. Also the Impulse Response Analysis showed that the index of industrial product and the consumer price index greatly influenced national park visitor use in the short term as well as the long term. The study showed that national park visitor use was mainly influenced by variance decompositions. These results suggested that economic variables could be used to not only forecast the demand for recreation but also establish recreational policies.

  • 일반적으로 철도수요를 추정할 때에는 매표실적에 근거한 직접수요모형(Direct Demand Model)을 많이 사용하여왔다. 고속철도가 2004년 4월 개통됨으로써 실행된 수요가 나옴에 따라 이를 이용하여 KTX와 일반철도를 고려한 직접수요모형의 작성이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 고속철도 운행 전${\cdot}$후의 실제수요를 이용하여 고속철도 개통 전${\cdot}$후의 직접수요모형을 추정하여보았다. 모형에 사용되는 변수로는 철도서비스, 사회경제지표 등을 사용하였다. 그 중 철도서비스, 즉 운행시간, 운행빈도, 운임 등을 집중적으로 사용하여 모형을 작성하였다. 이렇게 작성된 모형은 KTX와 일반철도, 일반철도 등급간에서 철도서비스 변수의 기여를 명시적으로 제시해준다. 개발된 모형을 이용하여 KTX 및 일반철도의 운행방향에 대하여 검토하였다.

An Estimation of Call Demand for the Internet Telephony (국내 인터넷전화의 통화수요 추정)

  • In this study, an estimation of call demand for the internet telephony was carried out using the monthly time-series data from June 2001 to December 2004. In the estimation, the call traffic was assumed to be explained by tariff of the internet telephony service, tariff of fixed and wireless services, income, quality of service, and lagged traffic variable. The traffic is assumed to follow the partial adjustment mechanism. The estimation result shows that the call traffic demand is elastic to the tariff of the service while it is inelastic to the change of income. The qualisty of service is regarded as an important factor of demand. Also there appeared the call demand is adjusting to the change of explanatory variables with some lags.

A Study on Estimating Regional Water Demand and Water Management Policy (물 수요함수 추정과 지역 물 관리 정책 연구)

  • In Korea, water supply capacity and facility investments had been emphasized around the 1980s. The water pricing have gained focuses in water policy since the 1990s. This study analyzes a water demand and estimates the relation of water demand and other socio-economic variable, using econometric models on the city of Busan. Water price and income are two key elements to explain water demand. Modeling approach using translog function provides better results, and water demand responds positively to population and income. Energy and water prices are negative factors in deciding water demand. It is requested that water pricing needs to reflect more production costs. Alternative approaches such as water saving facilities by household and use of digital water information should be emphasized for efficient water management in a local community.

Estimation of the electricity demand function using a lagged dependent variable model (내생시차변수모형을 이용한 전력수요함수 추정)

  • The demand for electricity has a considerable impact on various energy sectors since electricity is generated from various energy sources. This paper attempts to estimate the electricity demand function and obtain some quantitative information on price and income elasticities of the demand. To this end, we apply a lagged dependent variable model to derive long-run as well as short-run elasticities using the time-series data over the period 1991-2014. Our dependent variable is annual electricity demand. The independent variables include constant term, real price of electricity, and real gross domestic product. The results show that the short-run price and income elasticities of the electricity demand are estimated to be -0.142 and 0.866, respectively. They are statistically significant at the 5% level. That is, the electricity demand is in-elastic with respect to price and income changes in the short-run. The long-run price and income elasticities of the electricity demand are calculated to be -0.210 and 1.287, respectively, which are also statistically meaningful at the 5% level. The electricity demand is still in-elastic with regard to price change in the long-run. However, the electricity demand is elastic regarding income change in the long-run. Therefore, this indicates that the effect of demand-side management policy through price-control is restrictive in both the short- and long-run. The growth in electricity demand following income growth is expected to be more remarkable in the long-run than in the short-run.

Demand Estimation Methodology for a New Air Route (신규 항공노선에 대한 수요 예측 모델 연구)

  • A network connectivity has been regarded as a key element to strengthen a business competitive power in the aviation industry, so many airport authorities try to attract the new airlines and scheme out new air routes. With this trend, a study for an induced travel demand estimation methodology is needed. This study introduces a demand estimation method, especially for a new air route to a promising destination. With the results of previous studies, the derived demand is classified into four types - Local, Beyond, Behind and Bridge. The explanatory variables are established for each type of demand and the main independent variables are composed of distance, ratio of detour, and relative capacity compared with other airports. The equations using such variables and statistically significant coefficients are suggested as the model to make an estimation of derived demand for a new route. Therefore this study will be expected to take an initial step for all related parties to be involved more deeply into developing new air routes to enhance network connectivity.

A Study on Forecasting Model of the Apartment Price Behavior in Seoul (서울시 아파트 가격 행태 예측 모델에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the simulation model of house price is presented on the basis of pricing mechanism between the demand and the supply of apartments in seoul. The algorithm of house price simulation model for calculating the rate of price over time includes feedback control theory. The feedback control theory consists of stock variable, flow variable, auxiliary variable and constant variable. We suggest that the future price of apartment is simulated using mutual interaction variables which are demand, supply, price and parameters among them. In this paper we considers three items which include the behavior of apartment price index, the size of demand and supply, and the forecasting of the apartment price in the future economic scenarios. The proposed price simulation model could be used in public needs for developing a house price regulation policy using financial and non-financial aids. And the quantitative simulation model is to be applied in practice with more specific real data and Powersim Software modeling tool.
