  • 수산물 수입량의 증가에 따른 국가간 관세편익을 제공하고 시장질서 및 수산물의 안전성을 유지하여 어종을 보호하기 위해 원산지 표시 제도가 시행되었으나, 유통 수산물에 대한 원산지 표시 방법이 형태 및 색채 등 형태학적 방법을 주로 이용하고 있어 원산지 판정의 신뢰도가 저하되고 있는 실정이다. 또한 양식산 어류가 자연산 어류로 표시되어 판매되기도 하므로, 좀 더 구체적이고 과학적인 방법을 이용하여 정확하게 원산지를 판정할 필요가 있다. (중략)

  • In this study, in Tongyeong area the distribution of marine products that were produced and treated through fishing and cultivating industry and the trend of main fisheries were investigated for fisheries distribution system and fisheries official circles, and then a structural model of fisheries distribution system for direct transaction was suggested under internet environment, which is an important scheme offering a necessary information rapidly and practically to both producers and consumers. Database system was structured according to distributed process. An op-elative scheme were suggested for sewers of local area information center, complementing functions to exceed each server's ability.

Development of the Duplex PCR Method of Identifying Trachurus japonicus and Trachurus novaezelandiae (다중 PCR 분석법을 이용한 전갱이속 어종의 신속한 종판별 분석법 개발)

  • Reliable labeling of fish products can reassure consumers regarding the identity and quality of seafoods. Therefore, techniques that can identify adulteration or mislabeling are valuable. To rapidly identify two Trachurus species, Trachurus japonicus and Trachurus novaezelandiae, a highly efficient, rapid, duplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) having two species-specific primers simultaneously was identified. This species-specific primer focused on a single nucleotide mismatch in the 3'-terminal base of a primer designed in the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase (COI) subunit I DNA. To optimize the duplex PCR condition, gradient PCR reactions were conducted to determine the primer annealing temperature and the primer concentration. The PCR's product was observed on the gel, suggesting that DNA molecules may be useful in differentiating the two species. The length of the amplification fragments were 103 bp for Trachurus japonicus and 214 bp for Trachurus novaezelandiae, which, along with the species-specific primer visualized by agarose gel electrophoresis, enabled accurate distinction of the species of the Trachurus genus. These results indicate that the duplex PCR, which has a species-specific primer based on single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), can be useful for rapidly differentiating the two species of Trachurus. This duplex PCR analysis is simple, rapid, and reliable, and could be beneficial to protecting consumers' rights.

Whole-Genome Sequencing-based Antimicrobial Resistance and Genetic Profile Analysis of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Isolated from Seafood in Korea (유통 수산물에서 분리한 Vibrio parahaemolyticus의 항생제 내성 및 전장 유전체 분석을 통한 유전적 특성 분석)

  • Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a major seafood-borne pathogen commonly detected in marine environments. In Korea, V. parahaemolyticus-induced foodborne illnesses account for 7.5% of bacterial pathogen-related food poisonings. Moreover, the amount of antimicrobial agents used in aquatic cultures is continuously increasing. In this study, we isolated V. parahaemolyticus from seafood samples and performed antimicrobial susceptibility tests using the microbroth dilution method. Furthermore, using whole-genome sequencing, we identified antimicrobial resistance genes, virulence genes, and sequence types (STs). We could isolate V. parahaemolyticus from 47 (59.5%) of the 79 seafood samples we purchased from retail markets in Seoul and Chungcheong provinces. Antimicrobial susceptibility tests revealed that 2 and all of the 47 isolates were ampicillin-resistant (4.3%) and susceptible to all tested antimicrobial agents (100%), respectively. The genotype analysis revealed that all isolates carried beta-lactam-, tetracycline-, and chloramphenicol-associated antimicrobial resistance genes. However, we could detect fosfomycin resistance only in one isolate. Concerning the virulence genes, we detected T3SS1 and T3SS2-associated genes in all and one isolate, respectively. However, we could not detect the tdh and trh genes. Of the 47 isolates, 17 belonged to 15 different STs, including ST 658 with 3 isolates. The rest 30 isolates were identified as 25 new STs. The results of this study support the need for operating a continuous monitoring system to prevent foodborne illnesses and the spread of antimicrobial resistance genes in V. parahaemolyticus.

  • 최근 수산물 유통 및 물류구조 합리화 방안의 일환으로 수산물 산지종합처리장 설립이 적극 추진되고 있으나 부지 선정을 위한 합리적 의사결정 모형이 마련되지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 수산물 처리의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 평가 모형을 개발ㆍ제시한다. 모형 설계에는 평가 기준의 체계를 수립하고 적절한 평가 기법을 선택하는 과정이 포함된다. 평가 기준의 확립을 위하여 시설 입지와 관련된 문헌을 고찰하고 다차원적 접근법에 의한 계층적 체계화를 시도하였다. 체계화된 평가 기준에 따른 의사결정 대안의 평가 기법으로 주관적 판단의 계량화에 적절하다고 판단되는 계층분석과정(Analytic Hierarchy Process : AHP) 기법을 선택하여 평가 모형을 완성하였다. 모형 적용의 일부분인 기준 간 중요도 평가를 위한 실사를 수행하고, AHP에서 제공하는 계층 일관성 기준에 따라 신뢰성 있다고 판단되는 자료만을 분석에 사용하여 결과를 제시하였다.
