전자광학장비중 야시장비는 다른 정보 장비들이 주로 탐지를 위주로 하는 것에 비해 물체의 실제 모양을 영상으로 관측하게 함으로써 가장 확실한 정보를 제공하여 신속한 대응 조치를 강구할 수 있도록 한다. 즉, 정확한 표적 식별과 적시성이 유지되어 정밀 타격이 가능하며 아울러 효과 분석까지 용이하여 추가 대책을 강구할 수 있다. 특히 최근의 야시장비는 레이저 또는 레이다 장비들과는 달리 전자파를 방출하지 않는 수동형 센서로 대부분 개발되므로 적에게 노출될 위험이 매우 적다

Missile and target closing velocity is used in the proportional navigation(PN) missile guidance loop. But it is difficult to estimate the closing velocity when passive seeker is used and only the Line-of-Sight(LOS) rate is available in the guidance loop. In this study, new closing velocity estimation method is developed. This method uses LOS rate measurement only and uses some characteristics of PN guidance law. The Lyapunov method is used to analyze the stability of the developed estimation method.

Up to now, the most studies on the passive compliance system for assembly robot were only concerned about the device itself without through analysis of its concept. In this paper, we have tried to analyze a structural characteristics, in the case that the passive compliance system was used in simple assembly process like inserting a round shaft or peg into a round hole.

현미경을 이용한 자동화된 검사 공정에 있어서 무엇보다 중요한 과정은 초점조절이며, 피 측정물의 선명한 현미경 영상을 얻기 위한 빠르고 신뢰도가 높은 자동초점조절 방법들은 일련의 검사공정에 있어서 필수 불가결한 요소로 자리매김 하고 있다. 일반적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 수동형 자동초점조절 방법들은 측정물체 표면의 영상대비 정보를 이용하는 방법으로 구성이 비교적 간단하지만, 최대대비 위치를 찾기 위한 주사과정이 필요하므로 시간 소요가 크고, 시편에 대한 의존도가 높다는 단점이 있다.(중략)

Nd：YVO$_4$ 결정은 들뜬 상태의 발광 평균 수명이 90-100 $\mu\textrm{s}$로 아주 짧아서 Nd：YAG나 Nd：YLF 레이저 매질에 비해 짧은 펄스폭과 빠른 반복율을 가진 펄스들을 만들어 내는 Q-switching에 적합한 레이저 매질이다. 또한 Nd：YAG 결정에 비해 아주 큰 흡수 계수 및 이득 단면적을 지니고 있어 반도체 레이저로 펌핑하는 고체 레이저에 아주 적합한 레이저 이득 매질이다. (중략)

오늘날 다수의 빔과 주파수를 사용하는 통신위성은 고속 디지털 신호 처리를 응용한 부채널 단위의 OBS(On-board Switching) 기술과 원하지 않는 간섭신호를 일정부분 제거하는 기능을 필요로 하게 될 전망이다. 본고에서는 위성통신 분야에서 현재 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있는 부채널 수준의 스위칭이 가능한 수동형 디지털 통신위성에 대하여 소개한다. 아울러 위성 선진국의 디지털 통신위성 개발 현황, 부채널 증폭 및 스위칭을 위한 소요기술, 그리고 간섭신호 제거가 가능한 디지털 통신위성 기술에 대하여 기술한다.

정보보호기술이 '수동형'에서 점차로 '능동형'으로 진화하고 있는 가운데, Secure OS가 능동형 정보보호기술의 핵심으로 주목받고 있다. Secure OS는 서버시스템 보안의 원천적 기술로 접근통제에 관한 보안정책, 보안모델 및 보안메커니즘에 대하여 검증 가능한 방법으로 안전ㆍ신뢰성이 확보되어야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Secure OS 핵심기술의 이해와 더불어 Secure OS 개발 시 안전ㆍ신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 이론적으로 잘 정립되고 정형화된 보안정책, 보안모델 및 보안메커니즘에 대하여 살펴본다.

비선형 부하에서 발생하는 고조파를 줄이기 위해 설치한 수동형 필터가 과전류 등에 의해 고장이 발생하는 비율이 높다. 이는 비선형 부하에서 발생한 고조파를 저감하기 위해 설치한 필터가 고조파 성분을 흡수하기 때문으로 리액터와 커패시터를 직렬로 구성할 경우 존재하는 전압 및 전류의 동작특성을 모의 및 측정 분석하여 고장이 빈번하게 발생하는 이유를 분석하여 대안을 제시할 필요가 있다.

The multistage wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network (WDM-PON) with multiple remote nodes (RN) can accommodate widely spread subscribers efficiently and it increases the channel usage. We implemented a multistage RN using band add-drop filters and it was applied to a wavelength-locked Fabry-Petor laser diode based gigabit WDM-PON.

This paper reports the design, modeling, fabrication and measurement of passive microvalves applicable to glaucoma implants. The proposed microvalves consisted of microchannels and chambers. The microchannels had a fixed fluidic resistance and generated a pressure difference. The chamber was located in the middle of the microchannels and acted as a buffer preventing an abrupt pressure change from an external variation of the fluid flow. To find optimum design parameters, six kinds of the microvalves were fabricated and experimented.
