A Study on the Implementation of an Android-based Educational IoT Smartfarm (안드로이드 기반 교육용 IoT 스마트팜 구현에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the need to introduce smart farms is increasing in order to solve the problems of intensifying competition such as a decrease in rural population due to aging, a decrease in production, and the inflow of foreign agricultural products, and accordingly, the need for education is increasing. This paper is a study on the implementation of an Android-based IoT smart farm for education so that it can be used in a real environment by reducing the farm's smart farm system. To confirm that Android-based education can be applied in a real environment using the IoT smart farm for education, experiments were performed in automatic mode and manual mode using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and server/client communication methods. In the automatic mode, the current status can be checked in real time by receiving all data, and in the manual mode, commands are transmitted in real time using the received sensor data and remote control is performed. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to understand the characteristics of each communication method, and it was confirmed that remote monitoring and remote control of the smart farm using the Android App was possible.

  • In this paper, an adaptive passivity based excitation and governor control scheme is proposed to enhance the transient stability of a single machine infinite bus power system with parametric uncertainties. We employ a state model where the frequency, the difference between active and mechanical power, and the difference between the squared terminal voltage and its reference are regarded as state variables. Using this state model, the proposed controller is obtained in two steps; firstly, a simple direct adaptive passivation controller is designed for the power system with parametric uncertainties; then a linear PI controller is applied to guarantee the stability of the closed loop system.

  • 드론의 시장규모가 커짐에 따라 초창기 군사 목적에서 현재 민간부문으로 확대되고 있다. 현재 드론은 실외에서 사용될 목적으로 제작된 것이 많으나 실내에서도 드론의 활용 여부가 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 실외에서만 사용 가능한 GPS를 대신하여 영상 촬영으로 획득한 이미지를 CNN으로 학습을 시켜 자율고도제어비행을 하도록 한다. 첫 번째로 수동 조작하는 드론에 IMU센서를 부착하여 획득한 고도 데이터를 표로 제시함으로써 GPS를 사용하지 않는 드론의 실내주행에서 일정한 고도 유지는 다소 무리가 있음을 보여준다. 두 번째로 드론의 수동 조작은 일정하지 않은 고도 때문에 CNN의 학습할 영상 획득이 어렵다. 일정한 고도의 영상 획득을 위한 실험용 높이 조절 Base를 제작하여 고도별 영상을 획득한다. 획득한 영상을 통해 얻은 이미지를 CNN 학습을 시킨 후, 학습에 사용되지 않은 이미지를 사용하여 고도 판별을 확인한다. 대조군으로 실내장소를 바꾸어 미리 학습된 CNN으로 고도 판별을 확인한다. 학습에 사용된 이미지의 환경(생명공학관)과 대조군(제 2 공학관)이 촬영된 장소의 환경요소의 차이로 오차가 발생한다. 오차는 실내 장소의 총 높이의 차이 및 서로 상이한 천장 구조물에 따른 것으로 사료되며 Data crop을 통해 획득한 이미지의 천정 부분을 제거하여 노이즈를 줄여 고도 판별의 정확도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 예상한다. 세 번째, CNN으로 학습을 통해 Model을 도출하여 자율 고도 제어 프로세스를 제시한다. 그리고 해당 프로세스를 이용한 자율고도제어 주행과 수동조작을 통한 주행에서의 Z축 가속도 데이터의 표준편차를 비교하여 본 연구의 실효성을 보여준다

Implementation for Automatic Inspection System on Ventilating Electronic Device Based on Reliability Improvement (신뢰성 향상 기반의 송풍전자장치 자동검사 시스템 구현)

  • This paper describes a system implementation for the automatic inspection on the ventilating electronic device based on the reliability improvement. To be enhancement, the inspection error is minimized by the automatic inspection system on the ventilating apparatuses against the manual inspecting system. The system consists of the control system, software structure and monitoring system to be scanning the inspection processing. The inspection system for reliability improvement is evaluated in Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility. The experimental results are improved about 2 times inspecting speed, measured error ${\pm}0.02V$, effectiveness of discriminating performance 15%, missing probability 17% and false alarm probability 12% respectively in comparing with the manual inspection based on the wind pressure sensor. The system will be also improved more by making database and product bar codes for the total quality control system to the effective reliability enhancement in the future.

  • 본 논문에서는 자계표식기반 안내시스템을 이용한 차량의 무인주행을 제안한다. 자계기반 안내시스템에서 가장 중요한 것은 자계도로상의 자석의 위치예측이다. 자석의 위치를 예측하기 위하여 자석과 센서의 상관관계를 해석하여 도로에 매설된 자석의 위치를 검출하기 위한 배열형 자계표식위치인식센서를 개발하였다. 또한 자동모드와 수동모드의 동작을 위해 스텝모터를 이용한 조향제어장치를 개발하였다. 자율주행 실험을 위해 자계기반 자계도로를 구성하였다. 그리고 로봇형 차량을 자계도로에서 실험을 통해 실용성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper implements a dual-mode power strip controller (PSCtrl) with environmental sensors which cooperates with Android-based smartphones. According to the statistics on fires in housing facilities, unidentified electrical fires account for 23.4%. In order to reduce these fire accidents caused by user carelessness and protect life and property, smart power control techniques with improved user convenience are required. For this reason, the implemented dual-mode PSCtrl controls ON-OFF operations of a power strip in two ways (e.g. manual and automatic modes) by cooperating with Android-based smartphones provided with environmental data from light, temperature, and humidity sensors. In manual mode, users check environmental data displayed on Android-based smartphones, forcibly controlling the ON-OFF operations through the dual-mode PSCtrl, and in automatic mode, when environmental data exceeds the threshold set by users in advance, the dual-mode PSCtrl automatically controls the ON-OFF operations. Some experimental tests verify successful dual-mode operations of the implemented dual-mode PSCtrl.

  • 접안을 위해 선박이 안벽으로 접근할 때나, 좁은 항내에서 선박을 조종할 때는 항해 중에서보다 많은 제약이 따른다. 그것은 대형 선박일수도 분 관성력으로 인해 효과적인 제어가 어렵기 때문이다. 그래서 터그보트를 수동적으로 제어하여 선박을 접안시키는 것이 현재로선 가장 일반적이 접안기술이라 할 수 있다. 지능적인 제어기술을 적용하여 자동접안을 시도하려는 연구결과가 보고되고 있으나, 대부분이 auto-pilot 기술에 지나지 않으며 어느 것 하나 안정적인 접안을 위한 접안기술로 볼 수 없다. 이와 같이 터그보트를 이용할 수밖에 없는 현실이라면, 보다 효과적인 터그보트 제어기술을 기반으로 한 접안지원시스템을 개발하는 것이 우선일 것이다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 터그보트의 원격제어를 통해 모선을 효과적이고 안정적으로 접안하는 문제에 대해 고찰하였다. 즉, 터그보트로 조종되는 선박조종시스템에 대한 모델링을 수행하고, 터그보트로부터 발생되는 제어력을 적절히 분배하여 모선을 제어하는 새로운 접안지원시스템을 개발하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 시스템의 유효성을 검증하였다.

EPON Based Communication Network Architecture for Offshore Wind Power Farm (EPON을 기반으로 한 해상 풍력 단지 통신망 구조)

  • In recent, the communication networks of wind power farm are becoming crucial technologies for monitoring and controlling the large-scale offshore wind power farm. In this paper, EPON based communication network architectures are proposed in order to combat the problems of conventional Ethernet based communication network such as delay, data processing overhead and the fairness of data transmission among turbines in offshore wind power farm. The proposed architecture constructs the point to multi-point network by using OLT and ONUs installed in central control center and wind turbines respectively. The EPON based communication network architecture has low cost, high reliability, and fair transmission capability. To evaluate the performance of proposed architectures, the wind power farm based on IEC 61850 is modelled by using OPNET The simulation results are analyzed and compared with conventional Ethernet based communication network in terms of the overhead, delay and fairness of data transmission.

  • This paper introduces the implementation of the AWS IoT service and MQTT based smart home system. The smart home system implemented in this study can monitor temperature and humidity, and can manually adjust the air conditioner heating, and can check the visitors with the camera and remotely control the door lock. The implemented smart home system controls door locks, heating and air conditioners using Arduino, and manages the collected data and control information using the AWS IoT service. In this study, the Android app has been developed to allow users to control IoT devices remotely, and the MQTT protocol was used for data communication and control between the app and the AWS IoT server and Arduino. The implemented smart home system has been implemented based on AWS IoT service, which has scalability to add sensors and devices.
