In this paper, SQL statements are analyzed to improve database performance in the current course registration system. The performance of the current database was measured through the execution plan of the SQL statements used in the transactions related to the course registration. Through the SQL analysis, the complemented SQL statements confirmed the improved performance. Overall, the performance of the course registration database system was improved through the analysis of the execution plan, and some improvement methods of the course registration SQL were shown as test results. The improved method is to reorganize the tables and index tables related to the course registration through database tuning, and utilize the SQL function to implement an optimized system that has evolved into a course database system with improved performance. The enrollment system re-adjusted by the proposed method showed excellent results in terms of performance compared to the previous enrollment system, and the integrated performance test result reduced the response time by 1.8 to 18 times.

This study aims at analyzing the course selecting standards of college students including Electives and Major courses. For the purpose of this study, we developed a survey through analyzing previous related-research and conducting interviews and pilot study. Using our survey questions, on- and off-line survey was conducted for 301 college students from November 1st to December 5th. As a result of the survey, college student's course selecting standards consist of five factors including 'convenience in learning', 'characteristics of instructors', 'practicality of courses', 'expectations of and interests in learning', and 'external factors.' With the result of factor analysis, we analyzed course selecting standards of college students divided into Electives and Major courses. For electives, 'convenience in learning' was most considered among five factors, followed by 'expectations of and interests in learning', 'external factors', 'characteristics of instructors' and 'practicality of courses.' On the other hand, 'characteristics of instructors' was the highest consideration of college students when selecting courses in Major subjects, followed by 'convenience in learning', 'expectations of and interests in learning', 'external factors' and 'practicality of courses.' This study examined what standards affect college student's course selection, considering Electives and Major courses respectively. We suggested further study on how college students select their courses and how this affect their satisfaction with college education.

We investigate the class registration behavior of college students with data collected from the spring semester of 2012. The network originally consists of a 2-mode network between a student and class subjects. We first transform the 2-mode network into 1-mode network of students. We also subdivide it into a smaller network such as components and communities to understand the detailed behavior of students in class registration. Finally, the relationship between GPA and the centrality measures, gender, and grade of students is analyzed using a multiple regression analysis.

데이터베이스 시스템 사용이 거의 모든 분야에 걸쳐서 필수적인 요소가 되어가고 있다. 따라서 데이터베이스 내에 축적된 정보들의 양과 더불어 정보와 정보 사이의 연관성이 중요한 관심사로 대두되고 있다. 이를 충족하기 위한 구체적인 방안으로 데이터마이닝 기법이 개발되고 발전해나가고 있다. 현재 수강신청시 많은 학생들이 필수 로드맵이라는 단편적인 정보를 가지고 수업 시간표를 구성함으로써 개개인이 많은 시간을 허비하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 관련성 있는 정보 추출에 용이한 FP-Growth 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 수강신청시 도움이 되는 수강신천 로드맵 기법을 제안한다.

현재 우리나라 대학생의 수는 전문 대학생 수를 포함하여 약 300만명이다. 그만큼 우리나라는 대학교 진학률이 높고 대학생 수가 많다. 하지만 많은 학생들은 수강신청을 할 때 강의에 대한 충분한 사전 지식없이 수강신청을 하여 본인이 생각했던 강의와 다른 강의를 수강 하는 학생들이 적지 않다. 이에 본 논문은 수강을 한 학생들의 수강평가를 대상으로 텍스트마이닝과 오피니언 마이닝을 적용하여, 키워드를 추출하고, 그것의 분석을 통해 본인에게 맞는 강의를 파악할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

In this paper. the design and implementationof the on-line registration system for the school affairs is described. The environments for the system configurations include a PC server under Linux Iperating System. Apache Web-server, and MySQL as database engine. In addition, PHP, which becomes a popular Internet server-based script language lately, is used to implement a real-time database. In order to avoid overload problems during short-term registration period, which deconstraces the typical surge of traffics, the proposed system is designed to minimize the unnecessary interfacing tasks. On administrator side task, the sytem is designed to have environments by separating the dechcated server that restricts the scope of specific database thasks. In doing so, it become possibal to build an optical system by distributing, balancing the transaction load, maintainimg the security and efficient administrative tasks.

인터넷의 발달과 함께 많은 부분에서 이를 응용하려는 노력이 지속되고 있다. 이에 학사행정업무에서도 이를 응용하여, 원거리의 학생에 관한 학교업무에 편리성과 효율성을 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전체 학사행정업무 중에서 성적조회와 수강신청 및 변경에 관한 업무를 온라인 상에서 할 수 있도록 하는 학사지원시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이는, 크게 학생모드와 관리자 모드로 나누었으며, 학생모드에서는 성적조회와 수강신청을 하도록 하고 관리자모드에서는 수강기간을 입력 및 변경할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위하여, 본 시스템분석에서는 UML을 이용하였고, 시스템 개발에서는 ASP를 이용하였으며 데이터베이스는 MS-ACCESS를 이용하였다. 또한, 웹 문서의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 Java Script 언어를 사용하였다.

학사행정 업무분야는 학교업무의 전산화에 있어서 가장 중요한 요소가 되며, 이를 인터넷에 접목하여 사용하면서 최대의 효과를 부가시키고있다. 즉, 인터넷을 응용하여 원거리의 학생에 관한 학교업무에 편리성과 효율성을 주고 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 전체 학사행정업무 중에서 성적조회와 수강신청 및 변경에 관한 업무를 온라인 상에서 할 수 있도록 하는 학사지원시스템을 선계 및 구현하였다. 이는, 학생모드와 관리자 모드로 나누었으며, 학생모드에서는 성적조회와 수강신청을 수행하고 관리자모드에서는 수강기간 입력 및 변경업무를 수행 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위하여, 본 논문의 시스템분석에서는 UML을 이용하여 Use Case Diagram, Sequence Diagram등을 작성하였다. 이를 통하여, 시스템 개발에서는 ASP를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 데이터베이스는 MS-ACCESS를 이용하였다. 또한, 웹 문서의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 부분적으로 Java Script 언어를 사용하였다.

본 논문에서는 스마트 폰과 QR코드를 기반으로 하여 학사정보시스템에서 사용될 콘텐츠를 제안하였다. 최근 학생들이 많이 사용하는 스마트 폰을 활용하여 학사정보시스템을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있는 시스템의 구조와 콘텐츠를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템 구조와 콘텐츠는 수강신청을 하는데 있어 학생들이 언제 어디서나 수강신청을 위한 정보를 습득할 수 있는 환경과 콘텐츠를 제시하여 학생들이 전략적으로 사용할 수 있는 기반을 조성하는데 그 목적이 있다.
