PZT Sensor-based Structural Health Monitoring for CFRP Laminated Concrete Structures (CFRP 보강 콘크리트 구조물의 PZT센서 기반 구조 건전성 모니터링)

  • A CFRP (Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) strengthening method is being very widely used to increase the load-carrying capacity of host structures, especially for bridges. However, not only flexure and shear failures but debonding failure also might occur in CFRP strengthened concrete structures. The CFRP debonding failure would cause a collapse accident of the host structure. Therefore, real-time health monitoring about the CFRP bonding condition is strongly required. In this study, a feasibility of the impedance-based damage detection method using PZT sensors is investigated through a series of experimental study monitoring both concrete cracks and CFRP debonding defects.

  • 신의 약품을 개발하는 과정에서 안전성의 평가는 신약후보물질의 인체에 대한 유해의 정도를 파악하고 신약후보물질들의 독성을 초기에 검색하여 의약품으로써의 개발여부를 결정하는데 기여함으로써 개발연구에 소요되는 시간 및 경제적 낭비를 줄일 수 있는 매우 중요하고도 필수적인 단계이다. 또한 생체독성억제물질의 개발에 관한 연구는 다양한 연구기법을 활용하여 각종 생체이물에 의한 생체독성의 발현을 억제하거나 발현된 독성반응을 완화, 경감시키는 물질이나 기법을 탐색함으로써 신약후보물질의 창출에 기여 할 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 이와 같은 관점에서 안전성 연구팀은 그 연구분야를 크게 특수독성검색기술 개발연구와 생체독성억제물질 개발연구 분야로 대별하고 1)발암조기검색법 개발연구 2)독성물질 대사효소계에 관한 연구 3)유전자 손상억제물질개발연구 4)간독성 억제물질 개발연구 5)신장독성 억제물질 개발연구 6)면역독성 억제물질 개발연구 7)대사 및 내분비계 독성억제물질 개발연구 8)순환기계독성 억제물질 개발연구 등 총 8개의 세부과제와 안전성평가제도의 국제화를 위한 제도 및 기준에 관한 연구를 수행하고 있는바 이들의 연구목표와 내용 그리고 1차년도의 연구결과를 개괄적으로 소개함으로써 본 과제가 포괄하는 제반 안전성연구내용에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다.

  • Code Excited Linear Prediction(CELP) vocoder exhibits good performance at data rates below 8 kbps. The major drawback of CELP type coders is a large amount of computation. In this paper, we propose a new pitch searching method that preserves the quality of the CELP vocoder reducing computational complexity. The basic idea is that grasps preliminary pitches using the first formant of speech signal and performs pitch search only about the preliminary pitches. As applying the proposed method to the CELP vocoder, we can reduce complexity by 64% in the pitch search.

A Practical Approximate Sub-Sequence Search Method for DNA Sequence Databases (DNA 시퀀스 데이타베이스를 위한 실용적인 유사 서브 시퀀스 검색 기법)

  • In molecular biology, approximate subsequence search is one of the most important operations. In this paper, we propose an accurate and efficient method for approximate subsequence search in large DNA databases. The proposed method basically adopts a binary trie as its primary structure and stores all the window subsequences extracted from a DNA sequence. For approximate subsequence search, it traverses the binary trie in a breadth-first fashion and retrieves all the matched subsequences from the traversed path within the trie by a dynamic programming technique. However, the proposed method stores only window subsequences of the pre-determined length, and thus suffers from large post-processing time in case of long query sequences. To overcome this problem, we divide a query sequence into shorter pieces, perform searching for those subsequences, and then merge their results. To verify the superiority of the proposed method, we conducted performance evaluation via a series of experiments. The results reveal that the proposed method, which requires smaller storage space, achieves 4 to 17 times improvement in performance over the suffix tree based method. Even when the length of a query sequence is large, our method is more than an order of magnitude faster than the suffix tree based method and the Smith-Waterman algorithm.

  • 전력계통 사고는 3상 단락에 비해 1선 지락사고가 대부분을 차지하고 있으며 적절한 접지를 통해 대지전압의 이상상승을 억제하고 보호 계전기에 의한 지락고장 검출 고장구간을 자동선택 차단하여 전력기기의 손상과 사고파급을 방지하여야 한다. 그러나 플랜트의 경우, 계통접지방식과 지락보호 시스템에 대한 이해부족으로 상기의 목적을 제대로 만족하지 못하는 사례와 정전으로 인한 2차적인 생산피해도 많이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본론에서는 계통접지 방식 중에서 비접지 방식의 전반적인 이해를 돕고자 하며, 이를 토대로 비접지 계통의 지락보호 협조에 대하여 학습하고자 한다. 본 내용은 파워세븐엔지니어링을 검색하면 자료를 다운받을 수 있음.

  • 1) 측좌핵파괴 후 muricide를 비롯하여 startle, struggle등의 정동행동의 변화가 뇌손상 초기에는 현저히 발현되나 muricide를 제외하고 기간경과와 함께 점차 감소한다. 2) 봉선핵파괴 동물은 muricide, moose-eating behavior 등의 극심한 정동행동의 변화를 유발한다. 3) 측자핵파괴로 유발된 muricide는 1-DOPA, nomifensine, desipramine 등에 의하여 현저히 억제되었으나 HPD 에는 감수성이 낮았다. 봉선핵파괴로 유발된 muricide는 L-5-HTP, 4) 봉선핵파괴로 유발된 muricide는 L-5-HTP, clomipramine, nomifensine 등에 의하여 현저하게 억제되었다.

  • A practical damage identification scheme for PS concrete bridges via modal testing and system identification (SID) procedures is presented. The potential damage types are classified and the possible approaches which can be implemented into each damage type are designed. Damage identification algorithms are developed on the basis of the SID and modal analysis. The feasibility of the algorithms is verified from experimental tests to detect damage in PS concrete beam structures.

  • An integrated damage identification system (IDIS) using modal information to detect damage in structures is presented. The objective of this study is to develop a system of softwares that facilitates detecting damage locations and estimating damage severities in bridges. Firstly, the theoretical background for IDIS is outlined. Secondly, a GUI-based IDIS software is programmed. Finally, the feasibility and applicability of the IDIS software are experimentally demonstrated using small-scaled plate-girder models.

Exploratory study on the Moral Injury among Female North Korean Refugees: Qualitative Content Analysis of Qualitative Studies on Female North Korean Refugees (탈북여성들이 경험하는 도덕적 손상에 관한 탐색적 연구: 탈북여성을 대상으로 한 질적 선행연구물 내용분석)

  • This study is about applying the concept of moral injury in reinterpreting and understanding the experience of female North Korean refugees who have experienced psychological trauma and are struggling with adjusting in their everyday lives. The database KISS and DBpia were used to search for academic peer-reviewed articles published before August 13th in 2017, using 'female or women North Korean,' 'female or women relocated North Korean,' and 'female or women North Korean defector' as keywords. In total 51 studies were finally selected for content analysis and the result were the following. First, listing from the most often occurring study topic to the least occurring topic in order: post-defection adjustment related, mothering experience, experience of North Korean regime and Korean War, work or job or employment related, recovering from psychological trauma as well as growth and resilience related, experiences in China, trauma and psychological difficulties, anxiety treatment process and effects. Second, words related to psychological aspect of moral injury appeared 260 times in 51 selected studies, changes in the existential belief appeared 82 times, cognitive aspects of moral injury appeared 71 times, and behavioral aspects 21 times. Third, two main contexts emerged to be the antecedent that led to moral injury and they were 'identity denial' and 'dismantled family.' In attempts to find opposite cases or stories where aspects of moral injury were not found despite the existence of its antecedents and it was 'identity restructuring.' Based on the finding, practice implications that could help female North Korean refugees prevent or recover from moral injury were suggested.
