A architecture for parallel rendering processor with by effective memory organization (효과적인 메모리 구조를 갖는 병렬 렌더링 프로세서 구조)

  • Current rendering processors are organized mainly to process a triangle as fast as possible and recently parallel 3D rendering processors, which can process multiple triangles in parallel with multiple rasterizers, begin to appear. For high performance in processing triangles, it is desirable for each rasterizer have its own local pixel cache. However, the consistency problem may occur in accessing the data at the same address simulaneously by more than one rasterizer. In this paper, we propose a parallel rendering processor architecture resolving such consistency problem effectively. Moreover, the proposed architecture reduces the latency due to a pixel cache miss significantly. The experimental results show that proposed architecture achieves almost linear speedup at best case even in sixteen rasterizer

  • We propose a modified real-time marching cubes technique that extracts isosurfaces in the form of connected meshes instead of triangle soup. In this way, a various mesh-based isosurface rendering techniques can be implemented and additional information of the isosurfaces such as its topology can be extracted in real-time. In addition, we propose a real-time technique to extract adjacency-triangle structure for geometry shaders that can be used for various shading effects such as silhouette rendering. Compared with the previous technique that welds the output triangles of classical marching cubes, our technique shows up to 300% performance improvement.

  • We reconstruct 3D surface from range image that consists of range map and texture map, and simplify the reconstructed triangular mesh. In this paper, we introduce fast simplification method that is able to glue texture to 3D surface model and adapt to real-time multipled level-of detail. We will verify the efficiency by applying to the scanned data of Korean relics.

  • 작도 문제는 역사적으로 아주 오래된 문제 중의 하나일 뿐만 아니라, 현재 우리 나라 기하 교육에 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 즉, 평면 기하의 중심 정리들 중의 하나인 삼각형의 합동 조건들을 도입하기 위한 기초로 주어진 조건들(세 선분, 두 선분과 이들 사이의 끼인각, 한 선분과 그 양 끝에 놓인 두 각)에 상응하는 삼각형의 작도가 행해진다. 그러나, 현행 수학 교과서나 수학 교수법을 살펴보면, 작도 문제 해결 방법 및 지도에 대한 연구가 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 작도 문제의 특성, 작도 문제의 해결 방법 및 지도에 관한 접근을 모색할 것이다. 이를 통해, 학습자들이 다양한 탐색 활동 속에서 작도 문제를 탐구할 수 있는 이론적, 실제적 근거를 제시하고, 수학 심화 학습에 작도 문제를 이용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시할 것이다.

  • 퍼지 제어기는 유도전동기에 대한 정확한 수학적 모델링의 과정 없이 IF-THEN 규칙으로 제어하는 비선형 제어기로서 과도 응답 특성과 외란에 대한 강인성 면에서 고전 제어 방식보다 우수한 성능을 보여준다. 그러나 입출력 변수의 공간을 균등하게 나누고 일정한 형태의 삼각형 멤버쉽 함수를 이용한 퍼지 제어기는 한정된 성능 이상을 기대할 수없다. 다라서 퍼지 제어기의 성능을 항상시키기 위해서는 멤버쉽 함수의 폭과 위치를 조정하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 퍼지 제어기의 각 변수에 할당된 삼각형 멤버쉽 함수의 폭을 유도 전동기의 광범위한 속도에서의 과도 응답 상태에 EK랄 rkqustlzladmfhTJ 유도 전동기의 성능을 향상시키는 방법에 대해 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 이중곡률을 갖은 막구조물의 동적 불안정 현상을 연구하였다. 풍하중을 받는 막구조물의 지배방정식을 정식화할 경우 가장 중요한 것은 막 표면의 공기 압력을 합리적으로 산정하는 것이다. 베르누이 윈리에 의하여 유체 압력은 속도 퍼텐셜과 관계를 가지며 얇은 날개 원리에 의해 막 표면 공기의 움직임을 일련의 와류로 간주하고 속도 퍼텐셜을 구할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 가장 많이 쓰이는 3 절점 삼각형 막요소를 이용하여 가중 잔여치 갤러킨법을 적용한 안정 평가의 판별식을 유도하였다. 임계 풍속에 대한 초기인장력, 풍방향과 곡률의 영향도 분석하였다.

An Accelerated IK Solver for Deformation of 3D Models with Triangular Meshes (삼각형 메쉬로 이루어진 3D 모델의 변형을 위한 IK 계산 가속화)

  • The purpose of our research is to efficiently deform a 3D models which is composed of a triangular mesh and a skeleton. We designed a novel inverse kinematics (IK) solver that calculates the updated positions of mesh vertices with fewer computing operations. Through our user interface, one or more markers are selected on the surface of the model and their target positions are set, then the system updates the positions of surface vertices to construct a deformed model. The IK solving process for updating vertex positions includes many computations for obtaining transformations of the markers, their affecting joints, and their parent joints. Many of these computations are often redundant. We precompute those redundant terms in advance so that the 3-nested loop computation structure was improved to a 2-nested loop structure, and thus the computation time for a deformation is greatly reduced. This novel IK solver can be adopted for efficient performance in various research fields, such as handling 3D models implemented by LBS method, or object tracking without any markers.

Characterization of S-velocity Structure Near Izmit City of Turkey Using Ambient Noise and MASW (표면파를 이용한 터키 이즈밋 근교 부지의 S파 속도 구조 규명)

  • Characteristics of transfer responses for arrays like triangle, hexagon and semicircle were investigated. To characterize the site near Izmit city with ambient noise measurement, dispersion curves of surface waves were derived with using array technique like F-K, High resolution F-K, MSPAC and H/V ratio was calculated. Also, MASW was surveyed to get the high frequency part of dispersion curves. The transition from fundamental mode to first high mode of surface waves for dispersion curve was observed. Dispersion curve of fundamental mode of ambient noise and first higher mode of MASW was used in inversion to get S-wave velocity structure of subsurface. None-unique problem of results of surface wave inversion was solved with comparison of result of refraction tomography performed with first arrivals of MASW data.
