  • 누에는 4천8백년이나 거슬러 올라간 옛날부터 뽕나무잎의 셀룰로오스를 소화하여 가느다란 명주실을 토해냈다. 유럽의 과학자들은 금세기 초 실크를 모방한 인조견사를 얻어냈고 현대에 이르러서는 석탄ㆍ물과 공기로부터 나일론을 얻었다. 섬유의 발달은 자연모방으로부터 이루어져 최근에는 색깔이 때때로 변하는 카멜레온 섬유가 등장하여 패션소재로 인기를 끌고 있다.

기기산업의 기술경쟁력 분석을 위한 제품.기술 관련도의 개념적 모형

  • 이 논문은 특정 기기산업의 기술적 구조와 현황의 분석 및 파악을 위한 제 품.기술 관련도라는 새로운 개념을 제시한다. 제품.기술 관련도란 분석대상산 업의 주요 제품들을 도출하고 각각의 제품에 관련된 기술들을 부품기술을 중심으로 파악하여 매트릭스의 형태로 도시한 것을 의미한다. 제품. 기술 관 련도상의 제품에 대해서는 전문가의 의견에 의해 측정된 기술수준과 주된 획득방법(국산화율)을 파악한다. 한편, 제품에 관련되는 기술은 기본적인 기능을 발휘하는 제품의 생산에 소요되는 기본기술과 제품의 성능향상을 위하여 필요한 성능관련기술 등으로 구분하여 분석된다. 이러한 제품.기술 관련도는 국내 기기산업의 각 분야별 기술수준, 부품군의 기술수준 등을 도출하고 상호관련성을 파악하는데 유용한 방법으로 활용될수 있다. 특히 제품군과 부품군간의 관계 도출, 기술수준 혹은 구산화율이 낮은 제품에 관련된 부품 및 기술의 파악, 국내의 기술수준이 낮은 부품에 관련되는 제품 및 제품군, 제품의 성능이 향상에 관련된 기술등의 파악이 용이하다. 본 논문에서는 제품.기술 관련도를 한국의 정보통신기기산업에 시험적으로 적용하여 정보통신 기기분야의 제품 및 기술 구조, 그리고 경쟁력을 분석하여 보았다. 국내 정보통신기기산업의 전체적인 기술수준은 자체적으로 기술을 보유하고 있으나 성능면에서 매우 미약한 소화 및 모방 단계의 수준이라고 해석할수 있다. 한편 부품기술은 아직도 소화및 모방단계에 머무르고 있으며, 개별소자와 수동부품의 기술수준이 매우 낮게 나타났다. 분야별로 볼 때 무선통신기기, 방송기기, 정보기기의 순으로 기술수준이 낮으며, 무선통신기기분야이 발전을 위해서는 고주파 부품의 기술 발전이 선행되어야 할것으로 보인다.라 제시된 외주위탁 전략과 현재의 외주위 탁 전략이 일치할 때 정보 시스템에 대한 사용자 만족도가 보다 높은 것으 로 나타났다. 할 수 있는 효율적인 distributed system를 개발하는 것을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 데이타베이스론의 입장에서 아직 정립되어 있지 않은 분산 환경하에서의 관계형 데이타베이스의 데이타관리의 분류체계를 나름대로 정립하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 또한 이것의 응용은 현재 분산데이타베이스 구축에 있어 나타나는 기술적인 문제점들을 어느정도 보완할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성이 있다.ence of a small(IxEpc),hot(Tex> SOK) core which contains two tempegatlue peaks at -15" east and north of MDS. In vitro investigation of food effects on human gut microbiota (In vitro 상에서 식품이 장내미생물에 미치는 영향)

  • Recent gut microbiota studies have revealed the important roles of gut microbiota for our health. Increasing numbers of health functional foods have been developed every year. Development of functional food often includes ex- and in-vivo experiment to verify the beneficial effects of the functional food. To investigate effects of functional food on gut microbiota, animal models were often conducted. Beneficial effects of food can be evaluated based on how gut microbiota was shifted by food, which results in either increase in beneficial bacteria, decrease in potentially pathogenic bacteria or both. As animal experiments are generally time-consuming and laborious, we investigate how well in-vitro investigation of fecal microbiota may reflect dietary health benefits. Here, we tested 15 kinds of diets using two human subjects' fecal materials. Our results showed varying gut microbiota shifts according to diets, which suggested generally known beneficial diets (i.e. Kimchi, Chunggukjang) increased Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Therefore, we suggest that in vitro fecal microbiota analysis could be used to evaluate beneficial effects of diets. Moreover, this method may be ideal to establish personalized diet.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the core values of Donghwa Pharmaceutical, which has been in the pharmaceutical industry in South Korea for 126 years, and examine the core competencies that have consistently enabled it to maintain a competitive advantage. When applying the VRIO Framework, various general pharmaceuticals, including Donghwa Pharmaceutical's 'Hwalmyeongsoo,' which has maintained the top position in the liquid digestive medicine market for 126 years, are identified as powerful resources (Value) that generate 'sustained competitive advantage.' The principles of ethical management based on the Donghwa spirit, the long-standing principles of trust and belief, and the entrepreneurial spirit possess rarity. Having won four Guinness World Records and holding numerous new drug patents, Donghwa Pharmaceutical has consistently secured the top position in the digestive medicine category of the Korean Industrial Brand Power for 19 consecutive years. The company has been designated as a 'Golden Brand,' and its products have high levels of awareness, making them highly difficult to imitate. Lastly, the organization is structured to efficiently utilize resources such as a transparent hierarchical system, fair personnel management, diverse training programs, and high employee welfare and salaries. This study systematically analyzes the core values of Donghwa Pharmaceutical from a managerial perspective and proposes directions for the company to evolve into a long-lasting enterprise. The research outcomes will provide valuable insights for formulating long-term management strategies.

  • This is the case study of SATREC INITIATIVE company which is the unique domestic production of commercial satellites. We examined the path and pattern for accumulation of technological capability and technology learning process. This case study show that the process of technological innovation and their influencing factors. First, the technological learning of the satellite industry follows the stage of technological acquisition, absorption, improvement and is embodied by the technological capability. Second, accumulated technological capability of the satellite industry influences the technology innovation. Third, the top management team(TMT) affects the technological learning and technological capability. Fourth, TMT has a moderating role between the technological capability and the performance of technological innovation. Finally, technological innovations in the small and venture business would be the source of technological capability and technological learning. The implications of this study are as follows. TMT has the very important role for the technological innovation and affect the technology development and the production. Also technology-based companies must gain a competitiveness advantage through technological learning and technological innovations for sustainable growth.

Effect of Coating Materials on the Stability of Spray-Dried Lactobacillus Powder during Storage (코팅된 젖산세균 분말의 저장 안정성에 미치는 효과)

  • Lactobacillus is a probiotic that suppresses the growth of pathogens while preventing constipation, diarrhea, and intestinal inflammation. However, various environmental conditions such as pH and temperature affect the growth of Lactobacillus. In this study, Lactobacillus plantarum was encapsulated with starch using a spray dryer to protect the viability of the organism during storage and to increase its acid tolerance. The lower water activity and storage temperature resulting from this method influenced the survival of L. plantarum. In encapsulated Lactobacillus powders, viability of Lactobacillus was increased during storage at $20^{\circ}C$ relative to that of L. plantarum stored at $35^{\circ}C$ in the same water activity conditions. Furthermore, L. plantarum encapsulated in starch with ginger showed increased viability when compared to non-encapsulated L. plantarum stored without treatment. Finally, based on a simulated digestion test, encapsulated L. plantarum survived at a pH of 2, whereas the non-encapsulated L. plantarum did not. Thus, coating the encapsulated powder with these materials was effective in maintaining Lactobacillus viability.
