Effects of Brand Equity on Consumer Satisfaction and Loyalty in China's Local Representative Brand -Focused on Tsingtao Beer (중국 지역 대표 브랜드의 자산이 소비자 만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향 -칭다오 맥주를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects on brand loyalty based on consumer satisfaction and brand equity which brand recognition, brand image and perceived quality of Tsingtao Beer, the local representative brand of China. The study was surveyed Chinese consumers who had consumed Tsingtao beer in China for 14 days from October 21 to November 3, 2019. Regression analysis was performed to SPSS 25 responses. Three hypotheses have been established to verify the relationship of brand equity, consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty of Tsingtao beer. The analysis results showed that the brand equity of Tsingtao Beer were influenced by positive influence on consumer satisfaction. And brand equity has a positive influence on brand loyalty. Consumer satisfaction as the medium effect has a positive influence on brand loyalty.

  • The purpose of the study is to test and analyze differences in consumers' satisfaction and influences of competitiveness of goods on consumers' purchase decision by demographic characteristics and by channel distribution. The hypotheses have been tested through T-test and ANOVA with one-way and two-way using SPSS Win Ver. 12.0. The distribution channels are classfied with five ones such as company direct operation shop, agent licensed shop, department store, internet home shopping and outlet goods shop. This study can indirectly suggest a local clothing brand industry countermeasures for raising competitiveness and changing consumer preferences in the open domestic market.

제품속성을 활용한 중소/벤처기업의 브랜드 정통성 구축방안에 대한 실증적 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 마케팅 관점에서 제품속성과 브랜드 정통성에 대한 통합적 연구모형을 이론적으로 제시하고, 이를 실증적으로 살펴보는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 위하여 제품속성과 브랜드 정통성을 정의하고, 브랜드 정통성의 구성 요인을 학문적 관점에서 이론적으로 제시하였다. 구체적으로 제품속성은 내재적 속성으로는 품질과 디자인, 외재적 속성으로는 브랜드와 가격으로 구분하고, 브랜드 정통성은 기존 연구들을 분석하여 총 13개의 하위 차원으로 정리하였다. 제품속성이 브랜드의 정통성과 브랜드 이미지에 미치는 영향관계를 실증적으로 분석하고자, 총 400개 표본을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 조사대상 제품은 S전자의 최신 휴대폰인 S20으로 하였다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 논의되지 않았던 연구모형을 기반으로 하였으며, 마케팅관점에서 소비자가 제품 속성을 통하여 지각하는 브랜드 정통성과 브랜드 이미지의 관계를 실증적으로 살펴봄으로써 다양한 이론적, 실무적 기반을 제공할 것이다. 특히, 브랜드의 정통성을 구축하기 위해서는 오랜 기간 동안 많은 투자가 수반되므로 중소/벤처기업은 대기업에 비해 상대적으로 불리하다. 이런 이유로 중소/벤처기업은 우선적으로 제품의 품질향상에 많은 노력을 기울이는 경향이 있지만 만일 제품 속성이 브랜드 정통성에 의미 있는 영향을 미치지 못한다면 중소/벤처기업은 관련된 전략을 수정하여야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 중소/벤처기업의 시각에서 제품의 속성을 활용하여 브랜드 정통성을 구축하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 특히 스타트업의 마케팅전략 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근의 기업 환경은 글로벌화의 진전과 산업문명의 발달, 정보 습득이 용이 등으로 급속도로 소비자 중심의 시장으로 전환되었으며 이로 인해 기업 간의 경쟁은 급격히 가속되고 있는 상황이다. 이러한 상황 아래 고객에게 제공하는 가치가 유사한 기업들은 자사의 제품과 서비스를 차별화하여 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 다양한 방법을 시도하고 있다. 이 다양한 방법들 중 대표적인 한 가지가 자사의 브랜드를 강력하게 만들어 관리하는 것이다. 현대의 소비자들은 단지 제품이나 서비스의 품질, 또는 가격들 중 하나로 제품을 선택하는 것이 아니라 종합적 경험으로 자신에게 각인되어 있는 브랜드의 선택을 통하여 제품이나 서비스를 구매하게 된다. 또 하나의 대표적인 방법이 경영혁신 활동이다. 기업은 기존의 업무 방법을 재현해서만은 지속적인 경쟁력을 유지할 수 없다. 변화하는 기업 환경에 맞춰 기업의 가장 중요한 부분을 본질적으로 변화 시켜야만 기업의 경쟁력을 지속적으로 유지, 향상 시킬 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존에 연구된 문헌자료를 토대로 이론적 배경을 고찰하고 기업들의 경영혁신 추진 실태 조사와 K기관의 NBCI모델 통하여 산출된 브랜드 경쟁력 지수간의 상관관계를 분석함으로써 경영혁신 활동이 기업의 브랜드 자산 가치에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지 살펴보고자 한다.

Customer-Brand Relationship Quality and Relationship Strength (서비스 브랜드경험이 소비자-브랜드 관계의 질 및 관계강도에 미치는 영향)

  • This research tries to examine the effect of brand experience in service marketing perspective for generalized application. The analysis was held with customers who recently visited in retail stores by using SPSS18K and Smart PLS 2.0. The study verified the structural equation model hypothesizing the relationship among brand experience, relationship quality, and relationship strength. According to the result of this study, four brand experience factors have positive effect on the relationship quality. In detail, the effect of sensory experience was strongest. Furthermore, the effect of relationship quality on relationship strength also significant as prior researches addressed. The research has several marketing implication on brand experience management and customer relationship management. For service firms, customers' perception of positive brand experience can generate the tangible and intangible performance in the relationship marketing perspectives.

  • Companies are required to invest in numerous intial marketing costs for establishing brand power, thus, many companies in the foodservice industry are increasing their budgets on communication to strengthen their own brand equity components such as brand recognition, brand royalty, perceived quality and associated image using mass media that has not been used before. For this study, 617 samples were analyzed by such analytic methods as a frequency analysis, cross-tabulation, a factor analysis and a reliability analysis for validity, and a confirmatory factory analysis, a model adequacy evaluation, and a path analysis using AMOS 17.0. The hypothesis verification by the AMOS analysis has revealed that all hypotheses positively influenced contract foodservice brands, and the brand recognition of a university contract foodservice company has an impact on sincerity and refinement. Therefore, positive brand image formation encourages strong brand establishment between a university contract foodservice business and customers, and this study strongly suggests continuous further studies about constructing a positive brand image.

The Effect of Rice Co-Brand Assets, Trust, and Attachment on Loyalty (쌀 공동브랜드의 자산, 신뢰, 애착이 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study deals with the relationship among trust, attachment and brand loyalty of agricultural products' rice co-brands, which are the staple food of the people. The research method established the hypothesis of the study under the foundation of prior research and developed the survey. The subjects of the study were distributed, retrieved, and analyzed the survey of 163 rice farmers in Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. The empirical analysis results show that: First, hypothesis 1 of the brand awareness and image that "rice brand assets will be a positive relationship to trust" were statistically adopted. In particular, statistical t values showed a difference in consumer confidence over recognition>images. Second, hypothesis 2 of the trust of agricultural rice brands will be a positive influence on attachment and loyalty' statistically supported. In this regard, brand trust was higher in loyalty than attachment. Third, the attachment of agricultural products to rice brands will be a positive influence on loyalty,' was statistically supported. The strategic implications of this study are as follows. First, consumers should be given clues of trust(ex, GAP of Natioanl Approval Licesing, Fam Tour) as they distrust the perceived quality of the rice in the market. Second, the effect of the origin of rice is questionable, so the spread of the production power system should prevent the mixing of rice varieties, that is the spread of the production history systems.

Effect of Retailer Credibility on Attitude to Private Brand and Product Purchase Intention (유통업체 신뢰성이 유통업체 브랜드(PB)에 대한 태도 및 PB상품의 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The market share of private brand(PB) is growing at a rapid pace. Based on the previous studies, consumers pay more attention to the extrinsic cues when they buy the PB products. This paper proposes an integrated model to examine how the retailer credibility which is one of the important extrinsic cues affects perceived quality variation, value consciousness, attitude to PB, and PB product purchase intention. Also, familiarity with PB is regarded as a moderating variable that can interact with retailer credibility. An analysis of 199 useable questionnaires found that retailer credibility has a significant impact on the attitude to PB, directly and indirectly. Further, the moderating effect of familiarity with PB was significant. For this, we interpret that when consumers are more familiar with the private brand, they tend to have few bias toward the quality of PB. These findings provide several effective strategies for the development of PB, such that retailers must improve consumer's familiarity with PB via various promotions like free samples or testing events. Academic and practical implications of the study findings and future research directions are also discussed.

  • This study examines the impact of consumers' subjective perception on the quality loyalty of the Internet of things, explores academic innovation schemes, and puts forward business strategies for on-site optimization of the industry. The research methods use online survey methods for Chinese consumers who have used or bought Xiaomi IoT products. The results show that the inherent attributes of Internet of things products have an impact on brand image, and brand image has an impact on customer loyalty. Brand image shows complete media effect in the relationship between hyper-connectivity and customer loyalty of Internet of things products. For the enterprises that develop the Internet of things, obtaining the perceived brand image has a very important strategic significance in expanding the loyal customer base.

  • Companies are now using SNS as an online marketing channel and increasingly using it for customer relationship management(CRM). Although companies are actively using social media for marketing, language study brands in South Korea are using social media marketing in widely different ways. Among various components of social media marketing activities, this study analyzed the effects of informativeness, content suitability, and recency of social media marketing on consumers from the perspectives of brand equity and purchase intent. In the results, components of social media marketing activities had significant effects on brand equity, in the order of recency, content suitability, and informativeness. Second, brand equity and consumer purchase intent had significant correlation. And having a child also influenced purchase intent. The results of this study can be used as basic data for research on social media marketing of language schools and propose a theoretical direction for future research in the field as there is little academic data related to the subject.
