다양한 조사방법을 통한 소비자의 일상 생활 행동 이해

  • 본 연구는 소비자의 일상생활 행동을 다각적이며 심층적으로 파악하기 위한 하나의 방법으로 다양한 조사방법론을 활용하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 제품 선도 소비자(lead consumer)를 대상으로 구조화된 설문조사법 이외에 심층면접(In Depth-Interview), 쉐도우 서베이(Shadow Survey), 홈비지팅(Home-Visiting) 등의 방법론을 사용하였다. 즉, 일반 소비자와 선도 소비자의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위해 질문지를 이용한 설문조사방법과 선도 소비자의 일상생활 행동, 행동의 원인, 행동의 결과 등을 심층면접, 쉐도우(Shadow) 관찰조사 방법, 가정 생활을 관찰하기 위한 홈비지팅(Home-visiting) 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 의사소통관련 행동은 가족 및 친구를 위한 활동, 정보처리관련 행동은 사회(3차집단)을 위한 활동, 엔터테이먼트 관련 행동은 개인을 위한 활동 목적이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 추후 연구는 상황(Situation)-차이(Gap)-사용(Use)이라는 Sense-Making Theory로 활용되어지며, 이러한 결과는 신상품 컨셉 개발을 위해 활용되어질 것이다. 그러나 본 연구는 견고한 이론적 틀 보다는 목적 지향적이며 실천 지향적 성격이 강하다. 따라서 추후 연구들은 체계적이며, 다학제적인 연구를 통해 조사방법의 체계를 다져야 할 것이다.

A Method of Extracting Significant Design Attributes using PRETREE Model (PRETREE 모형을 이용한 중요 디자인 속성 추출 방법)

  • This study focuses on a consumer-based design process that overcomes practical drawbacks of the previously used design process. On the contrary of the existing method of attracting design attributes by designers' own insights, it present the PRETREE model that attracts the important design attributes of the products based on consumer preferences. The PRETREE model has the advantage that it does not require identifying design attributes a priori. For the wire-wireless telephones, this study presents the identifying process the important design attributes empirically using PRETREE Model. The PRETREE Model has been widely used in the fields of psychology, consumer science, economics and business administration. It might also be useful in the design field because it can identify the important design attributes objectively without designers' own insights.

The Study on the Subjective Conceptualization of Social Work Professional to Consumerism in Social Welfare for the Disabled (장애인복지 소비자주의에 대한 사회복지전문직의 주관적 개념화 분석)

  • As social work practice for the disabled is still centered in provider's perspective in Korea, this study started with concerns for consumerism that is emerging as an alternative for the social work practice for the disabled. Consumerism is rooted in organization process of the disability rights movement, and considered as an ideology that protects actively the rights and influence of consumers. However, consumerism is not operating as an accomplished ideology yet, but as a type of the practical discourse. Consumerism is interpreted in multiaxial meanings and the conscituents of consumerism is used ambiguously in practice. This is because theoretical reviews on the conceptual thinking of consumerism are scant and empirical inquiries into conceptual cognition of social workers who uses this concept as a professional are scarce. After analyzing the data using Q methodology, the result shows that social workers' major cognitive types on consumerism perspective consists of four types; Empowerment type, Market-mechanism type, Multi-opening type and Traditional-value type. These types are classified by the dimension of 'specific/extended', 'traditional/reformative' and 'instrumental/autotelic'. This result will attribute to develop consumer-intimate policy, practice program and professional training program and to give facilities for lucid communication among policy, practice field, theory and movement in social welfare for disabled as it materializes the explicit conception of consumerism that is understood ambiguously in Korea.

  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a development paradigm for reusing services as an independent reuse unit. A service delivers a cohesive functionality through its external interface. Since services have unique characteristics which are not typically presented in conventional development approaches, there is a demand for effective approaches to developing services. Most of the current SOA methodologies presenta process where services are designed and developed from the requirements rather than reusing existing assets, which demands high cost and effort. Hence, a desirable approach is to be able to develop services by migrating from their existing legacy systems such as object-oriented system. A difficulty in this migration is that objects in object-oriented systems reveal characteristics which differ considerably from those of services. That is, objects are designed without considering commonalities among several consumers. In this paper, we first define mapping relationships between key artifacts in object-oriented system and those in SOA services. By these relationships and considering commonalities among several applications in a domain, we propose three systematic methods to migrate from object-oriented system to SOA services. Each method consists of a list of input and output artifacts and detailed guidelines which are performed in order. Through these methods, service developers can easily develop services with less effort.

Proposal of methodology for AI-based new product development: ambidexterity approach (인공지능 기반 신제품 개발 방법론 제안: 양손잡이(Ambidexterity) 접근)

  • This study presents a new methodology for developing AI-based products. It identifies the distinctive attributes of AI innovation that are different from existing methods, and presents a product design process and methodology reflecting these attributes. This study emphasizes that AI product development should be oriented toward an ambidexterity approach. This study proposes a design process and specific development method for AI-based products that including steps such as technology push oriented idea generation with morphological approach, market pull oriented consumer requirements analysis, product design refinement, etc. In order to verify the practical applicability of this methodology, an AI-based car infotainment system development strategy is derived as a case study. 13 innovative ideas were generated by the morphological approach and expert review based on technological possibility, and a total of 6 quality requirements were derived as new product development strategies through the analysis of consumer requirements by combining Kano and TOPSIS. The methodology proposed in this research paper can be usefully utilized for companies to pioneer new markets through AI-based products or to expand the market by upgrading existing products or services.

Applying QFD in the Development of Sensible Brassiere for Middle Aged Women (QFD(품질 기능 전개도)를 이용한 중년 여성의 감성 Brassiere 개발)

  • Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a product development tool which ensures that the voice of the customer needs is heard and translated into products. To develop a sensible brassiere for middle-aged women QFD was adopted. In this study the applicability and usefulness of QFD was examined through the engineering design process for a sensible brassiere for middle-aged women. The customer needs for the wear comfort of brassiere was made by one-on-one survey of 100 women who aged 30-40. The customer competitive assessment was generated by wearing tests of 10 commercial brassieres. The subjective assessment was conducted in the enviornmental chamber that was controlled at $28{\pm}1^{\circ}C,\;65{\pm}3\%RH.$ As a results, we developed twenty-one customer needs and corresponding HOWs for the wear comfort of brassiere. The Customer Competitive Assessment was generated by wearing tests of commercial brassiere. The subjective measurement scale and dimension for the evaluation of sensible brassiere were extracted from factor analysis. Four factors were fitting, aesthetic property, pressure sensation, displacement of brassiere due to movement. The most critical design parameter was wire-related property and second one was stretchability of main material of brassiere. Also, wearing comfort of brassiere was affected by the interaction of initial stretchability of wing and support of strap. Engineering design process, QFD was applicable to the development of technical and aesthetic brassieres.

The Study of Comparison Model, when Korean and German Insurance Company go into foreign Market - a case of german Legal Expenses Insurance Company - (한국 및 독일 보험회사의 해외 진출 모델 비교 연구 -독일 법률비용보험회사의 사례를 중심으로-)

  • 본 논문은 한국 및 독일 보험회사의 해외 진출 모델을 비교 연구한다. 특히, 독일 법률비용보험회사의 한국 진출 사례를 분석하여 국내 보험회사의 해외진출에 주는 시사점을 제시한다. 연구방법론으로서 한국 및 독일 보험회사의 해외 진출사례를 수집하여 비교 분석한다. 이를 위하여 각 보험회사의 해외진출 담당자와 면담, 이메일(e-mail), 전화상담 방법을 사용한다. 그리고 문헌연구를 통하여 연구의 이론적 배경과 기존의 연구결과를 분석한다. 본 연구에서는 보험회사 해외진출의 이론적인 배경으로서 고객지향 현지화전략, 수익지향전략, 신규특화시장 개척전략, 성장시장 진출전략 4개 요인으로 구분한다. 국내 보험회사는 해외 성장시장 진출 측면에서 긍정적인 반면에 수익지향, 현지화전략과 해외 신규 특화시장 개척 부분에서 아직 개선될 부분이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 독일 보험회사는 한국 시장에 진출하면서 철저한 현지화전략, 특화시장 개척, 성장시장에 진출의 3개 부분에서 모두 긍정적인 것으로 분석되었다. 보험회사 해외진출의 이론적 배경 4개 요인을 적용하여 비교 분석한 결과 독일 보험회사의 사례와 같이 한국 보험회사가 해외에 진출할 경우에 보다 철저한 현지화 전략과 특화시장 개척 전략이 필요하다는 점을 제시한다. 본 연구의 한계점은 독일 법률비용보험회사 1개사를 대상으로 하고 있다는 점이며, 진출 초기라서 아직 경영실적이 뒷받침되지 않고 있다는 점이다. 향후 연구과제로서 일정시점이 지난 후에 국내 보험시장에서 독일 법률비용보험회사의 발전추이를 분석하여 시사점을 분석하고 법률보험시장에서 도덕적 위태 방지 연구, 소비자 보호를 강화할 수 있는 방안 연구를 향후 연구과제로 제시한다.

A Service Reusability-Centric Process for Developing Software-as-a-Service (서비스 재사용성 중심의 Software-as-a-Service 개발 프로세스)

  • Cloud Computing is emerged as an effective reuse paradigm, where service providers operate hardware and software and as a service, and service consumers invoke the service through Internet. Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is a type of cloud services, where the whole software is designed as a service so that several consumers can reuse the SaaS. While tradition software applications are developed for a specific organization, SaaS is developed for multiple users in the various organizations. Hence, reusability is very essential characteristic of SaaS. Reusability is defined as a metric of how effective and efficient software functionalities can be used by various users. Reusability in SaaS is evaluated by considering three sub-characteristics; applicability, adaptability, and scalability. Since such a SaaS has considerable differences and characteristics from traditional software applications, conventional methods including object-oriented modeling, component-based development method, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) service development method would be limited in developing services which can fulfill these three sub-characteristics related to reusability as well as SaaS-intrinsic characteristics. Hence, there is a great demand for effective processes for developing SaaS cloud services. In this paper, we present a practical process for developing SaaS, which focuses on ensuring reusability. And by performing a case study with our proposed SaaS development process, we evaluate applicability of our proposed process and explain how the process is used in a real domain. Then, we compare our proposed process with others for verifying our study. Through the proposed process, cloud services with high quality can be more effectively developed.

Evaluating and Categorizing Brand Assets of Full-Service Carriers and Low-Cost Carriers (대형항공사와 저비용항공사의 브랜드 자산 평가와 유형화)

  • Many domestic and international airlines that experienced dramatic recession due to COVID-19 pandemic are carefully being ready to normalise operations as a number of governments has begun to vaccinate for COVID-19. So with the same market share from domestic to short distant international services, the competition between Full Service Carriers (FSC) and low cost carriers (LCC) is anticipated to be more intensive. To explore the concepts such as the perception, value, attitude and faith of the object, this study implements Q methodology proposed to complement the limitations of quantitative and qualitative research methodology. As a result, the consumers of airlines' brand are divided into three types - the type of utility seeking, value-oriented and task-related. Using Q samples which consist of 25 statements, this study specifically approached the traits of each type by observing the subjectivity with the comparative P sample group that is made up for 20 participants. By discovering the type of FSC and LCC's brand asset and comparing the recognition of consumers, not only does this study evoke the need for a strategic direction of the effective management of Airlines' Brand asset but also have a signification in the way that especially provide hypotheses for follow up studies.

  • Recently business reengineering is the most attractive management reforming skill. Many of the Korean firms are paying attention to business reengineering and many of them have initiated it. The major purposes of this study are; (1) to investigate the relationship between each variable and success or failure of business reengineering, and (2) to examine interaction effects of measurement and performation variables. Two hundred eighteen questionaires were used for analysis. In order to throughout studies that I executed earlier. To look for dependence of critical success factors on analysis was performed to examine patterns between measurement and performance variables. In conclusion, the hypothesized relationships in the research model are supported by the empirical findings of this study. Additionally it is possible to establish theoretical reference system on the basis of critical success factors.
