Snacks Products on Consumer Perceptions (국산과자와 수입과자에 대한 소비자 인식)

  • 본 연구에서는 국산과자와 수입과자에 대한 소비자들의 인식을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 그 결과 첫째, 국산과자는 맛에서만 비교우위를 가질 뿐 양, 품질, 가격 및 디자인에서는 수입과자에 비해 만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 국산과자와 수입과자 모두 10대의 만족도가 가장 높았다. 그리고 국산과자의 경우 20대의 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났는데, 차후에는 이들 소비자들의 선택을 받기 위한 기업의 노력이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

  • This study is a convergent study on the awareness and purchasing behavior of eco-friendly consumers who engage in consumer activities in Gwangju Metropolitan City. A survey was conducted on 151 persons engaged in consumption activities in Gwangju Metropolitan City to analyze frequency, technical statistical analysis, principal components analysis, and correlation analysis. The convergence of awareness, interest, and satisfaction can be used as a supply forecast for the eco-friendly consumer market, including the convergence of eco-friendly consumer awareness and purchasing behavior.

  • This study analyzes the differences in perception of cosmetic quality (safety, stability, functionality, usability) and satisfaction according to consumer characteristics, targeting 317 men and women from their 18 to 50s who use cosmetics in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and the differences in effect of cosmetic quality perception on satisfaction according to side effects experience was analyzed. Among the cosmetic quality factors, the usability was satisfied, but the perception of safety, stability, and functionality was low, so overall quality improvement was necessary. In particular, the quality perception and satisfaction by men and 40s was low, so a customized solution was needed for this. In the order of usability and functionality, to both those experiencing or not side effect, had a significant positive effect on the satisfaction level, and the improvement of usability and functional awareness was the main factor that increased satisfaction. Improving product quality and supplementing factors that positively influence consumer perception are thought to be of great help in improving quality perception and satisfaction.

  • There is under restructuring of whole distribution market in Mokpo recently. Large-Scale Discount Stores such as E-mart, Lotte Mart, Homeplus and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart entered successfully in the distribution environment in Mokpo. However, the small and medium distributors are falling rapidly, and traditional market is depressed. This status gives some positive effects to make one-stop, good price, good quality and great variety of shopping for saving the time and effort through changing the customers' life-style. This change, however, made the traditional market worse that played as the core channel for trading the local special products and an important role for local economic in retailing market. It is a threatening factor for that traditional market to recover the recession. The decline of traditional market and the bankruptcy of small retailing dealers accelerate the stagnation of local economic and commercial power. Therefore, it need a systematic and synthetical study to solve the negative factors for improving life of the local resident. This paper looked into the concept, issues and development strategy of traditional market that affect local economic development directly. It studied the customers' awareness for traditional market that was recently modernized the facilities in Mokpo. Particularly, based on the research material that was published last academic symposium, it looked about the issues and development strategy that could happen in traditional market not the market of a specific region but all over the country. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is that the central and local government and retailers get a help to make the efficient and useful development strategy through analyzing the effects of customers for modernizing the facilities of traditional market.

  • 학교급식의 필요성 인식과 국가적인 정책에 따라 90년 중반이후 학교급식의 실시비율이 급격한 증가를 보이고 있다. 그러나 학교급식의 실시가 철저한 준비 없이 단시간 내에 확대됨으로써 양적인 증가를 이루었으나 학교 급식 소비자인 학생들의 요구에 맞춘 질적인 측면의 급식 실시에 대하여서는 여러 가지 문제점이 지적되고 있어, 소비자의 급식에 대한 만족도 및 요구사항을 파악하여 이를 반영하는 질적인 부분의 서비스 확대가 필요하다고 생각된다.(중략)

  • This study attempts to reveal that the connection between consumers' self enhancement and consumer-brand relationship can be formed from brand experiences not only through a direct use of products or brands but also through companies' marketing activities including advertising or promotion, in that consumers' sensual, affective, cognitive, and behavioral response to brands are included in brand experiences. After experiencing the Samsung Galaxy S brand with manipulated stimulus, 248 respondents' positive emotion and self-enhancement were increased. Also the positive emotion induced by brand experience increase self-enhancement. This study also shows that brand experience and self-enhancement can significantly affect consumer-brand relationship which in turn affects brand loyalty such as satisfaction, recommendation intention, and repurchase intention. Experiencing strong, favorable, and attractive brand personalities may help consumers to increase positive emotions with self-enhancement and help companies to have brand loyalty through consumer-brand relationship.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미국 의류점포의 판매규정과 고객의 점포에 대한 기대가 판매원과 소매점에 대한 만족과 평가에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다 미국에 거주하는 한국 소비자들을 대상으로 먼저 시각적으로 분위기가 다른 두 점포에 따른 고객의 서비스에 대한 기대를 측정하기 위해 슬라이드를 보여주고 의류업체의 판매규정에 따른 의류에 관련된 문제상황을 설명해주는 시나리오(판매원 노력에 의한 문제 해결 또는 소비자 노력에 의한 문제해결)를 읽게 한 후 설문지를 작성하게 하였다 그 결과 업체의 판매규정이 판매원의 서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가 의류점포서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A Survey on the Consumer's Recognition of Food Labeling in Seoul Area (서울지역 소비자들의 식품표시에 대한 인식도 조사)

  • This study investigated consumer's recognition of food labeling in order to contribute to the development of food labels which are more informative to consumers. The questionnaires had been collected from 120 male and female customers living in Seoul with the age between 10's and 60's from November 2nd to November 7th 2009. For checking the food label at the time of purchase, 58.3% of the consumers checked the food label and the main reason for checking the food label was to confirm sell-by date (60.1%). Sixty percent of the consumers were satisfied with the current food labeling. Among those who are not satisfied, 30.6% complained about difficult terms to understand and 25.8% were dissatisfied with insufficient information. In every age group, most people were not satisfied with labeling on food ingredient and additives, followed by date of manufacture and sell-by date. 53.1% of consumers demanded to label date of manufacture and sell-by date together. For more clear information, consumers wanted use-by date (47.5%) rather than sell-by date (23.3%). 56.7% of consumers was dissatisfied with warning information such as allergic warning and the reasons for dissatisfaction were poor visibility (37.5%) and insufficient information (33.4%). Moreover most consumers (90.0%) showed little knowledge on irradiation. To improve of the food labeling standards into consumer-oriented standards, both amendment of the food labeling standards and consumer education will be necessary.

Who Needs Life Insurance? - Focusing on Recognition of Insurance and Socioeconomic Values - (어떤 사람이 보험을 필요로 하는가? - 보험 인식 및 사회경제적 가치관을 중심으로 -)

  • The study identified 1,500 adult consumers aged 25-54 years with life insurance within the last year as three groups, top, middle and bottom of need recognition, and demonstrated differences in insurance and finance perception and socioeconomic value perception. In particular, the study sought to identify the influence of socioeconomic value recognition factors in addition to overall recognition factors related to insurance and finance, the number of insurance held and insurance satisfaction. Overall recognition factors related to insurance and finance were classified as 'recognition of insurance as a means of professional management and finance', 'self-directed insurance design and contract' and 'recognition of economic burden on insurance'. Socioeconomic value recognition factors were divided into 'socioeconomic self-sufficiency', 'work-life value pursuit' and 'economic value pursuit'. We identified factors that affect the recognition of a higher need for insurance needs as a higher recognition of need for insurance needs. In particular, the most influential factor for the median group was the recognition of insurance as a professional management asset-tech product, and the upper group was found to be a work-life balance factor. The second influential factor was self-directed insurance design and contract factors for both groups. In order to increase the rate of insurance subscription in the future, insurance should be recognized as an essential product to pursue work-life value, and continuous improvement in information exploration conditions for consumers to explore information and compare products will be important to revitalize the insurance market.
