  • 본 논문은 전력수요와 내구재의 구매를 결정하는 과정을 모형화하고 소득효과를 추정해 보기 위한 것이다. 효용극대화 원리에 기초하여 개인의 의사결정과 관련된 동시성을 규명하고, 이를 논리적으로 설명할 수 있는 모형을 설정함으로써 전력소비와 관련된 보다 정밀한 정보를 얻을 수 있음을 보이고 있다. 소득효과를 추정하는데 있어서 소득이 소비에 주는 영향을 단기와 장기로 나누어 추정한다. 단기의 경우에는 내구재 보유수준이 정해져 있기 때문에 이용율만 상승한다. 그러나 어느 정도 시간이 지나면 효용을 극대화하기 위하여 내구재 보유수준을 높이고 이에 따라 소비수준이 더 늘어나게 된다는 가설을 미시자료(micro data)를 통해 실증적으로 분석한다. 소득효과는 계절별로, 그리고 소득계층별로 보이는 다양한 분포를 추정한다.

The Relationships Among Self-Control, Value Consumption, and Subjective Happiness of High School Students (고등학생의 자기통제력 및 가치소비와 주관적 행복감의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between self-control, value consumption, and subjective happiness of high school students. In this study, self-control is the students' ability to control their thoughts and emotions and value consumption is the psychological mechanism of their consumer behavior. To conduct this study, 400 high school students were surveyed. Independent sample t-tests showed statistical significance in the results that are discussed below. First, subjective happiness among the participants varied according to their self-control levels. We observed that the higher their level of self-control was, the higher their subjective happiness was also likely to be. Second, there was a significant difference in subjective happiness based on the value consumption level of high school students. We observed that the higher their value consumption level was, the higher their subjective happiness also was.

An analysis of consumption behavior and consumption problem according to the digital convergence (디지털 융복합에 따른 소비행동과 소비문제)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate convergence level of digital device and service and analyze group difference of consumption behavior and problem according to digital convergence level. The research method was survey with digital business expert and 343 samples. ANOVA research method was applied. The results of research are as follows. First, the study suggests that with a self-directed consuming attitude associated with both online and offline, there are the possibility to spread social problem which has unclear boundary, the possibility of intrusion into privacy through the network flow, and the matter of the credibility of information in convergence media. Second, since digital devices are important to connect consumers to the network, consumers have anxious dependence on the devices, which causes the fatigue of information to increase rapidly.

The Effect of Worker' Consumption Patterns on Depression: Focusing on Baby-boomers (경제활동참여 베이비부머의 소비유형과 우울의 관계)

  • This study aims to empirically structure the patterns of consumption and their effects on depression among the employed baby-boomers who were born in 1955 to in 1963. We used the 5th wave of Korea Retirement and Income Study(KReIS) in 2013 (n=2,585). The Latent Profile Analysis(LPA) estimated the empirical patterns of consumption and then a multiple regression analyzed the effect of consumption patterns on depression. The LPA results showed that the consumption patterns consist of four groups: Basic life-oriented class, Social life-oriented class, Home-based lifestyle class, and Advanced consumption-oriented class. The working baby boomers' depression was associated with their consumption patterns. Specifically, the social life-oriented class showed significantly lower depression than the basic life-oriented class and advanced consumption-oriented class. Other associates with higher levels of depression were found as lower education, having no spouse, lower self-rated health, higher levels of physical limitation, having a diagnosed disability, lower satisfaction with leisure activities, lower income, and lower subjective economic status in this study. Based on the results of this study, we propose the need for specialized financial intervention better for baby-boomers' retirement preparation in Korea.

The Adolescents' Consumer Knowledge and Consumption Behavior and Related Variables (청소년의 소비자지식과 소비 행태 및 관련변인)

  • The purposes of this study are to examine the adolescents' consumer knowledge and consumption behavior and analyze the factors affecting them. The sample of this study is 640 middle school students living in kyunggi province. The data are collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed by the descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the third grade students and the female students get higher scores in the consumer knowledge compared with the first grade and the male students. Other factors affecting the level of consumer knowledge are occupation of parents, education level of mother, household income and GPA. Second, the consumption behavior of students is moderately resonable and affected by sex and grade of students, education level of mother, household income, and GPA. Third, the adolescent's consumer knowledge affects their consumption behavior. The results of multiple regression analysis show that 4% to 9% of variances of sub categories of the consumption behavior are explained by the level of consumer knowledge. Since the consumer knowledge learned at schools is rarely transferred to the reasonable consumption behavior, the systematic and relevant consumer education considering the development stages of adolescents is required in the future.

A Study on the Energy Consciousness and Consumer's Characteristics for Occupants of the Public Rental Housing (임대주택 거주자의 에너지 관련 의식 및 소비특성 연구)

  • Energy saving strategy for public housing is given a sizable portion in Land and Housing corporation. From this reason, the consumer's characteristics and energy consciousness of public housing dweller was derived from field survey for compare with sale housing residents characteristics. Utilities fees (e.g. gas and electric) for public housing residents was about 50 percent of sales housing dweller, but real energy consumption was accounting for 70% of sales housing residents in electric consumption. Among the respondents for public housing dweller up to 80 percentile of end-user comment that they have less demanding utilities fees. Given the major energy saving strategies, such as install EMS, make a teaching tool for children, sale housing residents is more proactive approach to participant energy saving strategies than public housing residents.

The Study on Situational Market Structure in Brand-Level and Category-Level (브랜드 수준과 카테고리 수준에서의 상황적 경쟁 구조에 관한 연구)

  • 기업환경의 변화로 인하여 정확한 경쟁구조의 파악은 경쟁전략의 수립에 중요한 개념으로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소비자중심의 경쟁구조 파악의 중요성을 제기하고 그 일환으로 상황 변수를 고려한 경쟁 구조 분석의 필요성을 제시하고 있다. 또한 구체적인 상황 변수를 파악하기 위한 방법으로 카테고리 수준에서의 경쟁 구조 분석을 제기하고 있다. 이를 위해 음료수 시장을 대상으로 브랜드 수준과 카테고리 수준에서의 지각적 및 상황적 경쟁 구조 분석을 실시하여 그 결과를 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 브랜드 수준에서는 지각적 경쟁구조와 상황적 경쟁구조가 상이하게 나타났고 카테고리 수준에서는 두 경쟁 구조가 상당히 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 소비자들은 음료수 구매와 관련하여 '소비(음용) 상황'이라는 기준에 의해 음료수 제품들을 범주화하는, 즉 소비자들의 기억속에 음용 상황이라는 기준에 의한 스키마가 형성되어 있다고 볼 수 있는 근거를 제시하였다. 카테고리 수준에서의 경쟁 구조 분석을 통하여 마케터는 소비자의 구매행동과 관련한 중요한 상황 변수를 파악할 수 있고, 이렇게 파악된 상황 변수를 토대로 한 경쟁 구조 분석을 실시함으로써 보다 소비자 중심적이며, 안정적인 시장 경쟁 구조의 파악이 가능하다고 본다.
