One of important goals for early childhood music learning program is to build a positive attitude toward music. Positive attitude toward music is a basic condition on effective music education for all ages of children including early childhood. Although scholars realize such importance of positive music attitude, much research for creating educational environment to foster a positive music attitude has not been performed. Edwin E. Gordon who found a music learning theory for early childhood emphasized the importance of enriched musical environment. Very young children should be provided best quality of music in an interactive way. Audie's important method of education is to provide young children with a variety of musical activities containing the materials in the ordinary life. Through this method, children accept music as close as friends who are always beside themselves, which naturally builds a solid foundation for audiation for children.

The anti-obesity effect of ethanol xtract and their fractions from Rumex Crispus L. on the differentiation of 3T3-L1 pre-adipocytes to adipocytes was investigated by suppressing adipocyte differentiation and lipid accumulation with Oil red O assay, western blot and real-time PCR analysis. Ethyl acetate fraction of Rumex crispus L. significantly inhibited adipocyte differentiation when treated during the adipocyte differentiation process, as assessed by measuring fat accumulation using Oil red O staining. In inducing differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes in the presence of an adipogenic cocktail, isobutylmethylxanthine (IBMX), dexamethasone- and insulin-along with ethyl acetate fraction residue processing treatment significantly decreased protein expression of obesity-related proteins, such as peroxisome-proliferators-activated-receptor-${\gamma}$ ($PPAR{\gamma}$) and CCAAT enhancer-binding-proteins ${\alpha}$ ($C/EBP{\alpha}$). These results indicate that ethyl acetate fraction of Rumex crispus L. is the most effective candidate for preventing obesity. However further studies will be needed to identify the active compounds that confer the anti-obesity activity of ethyl acetate fraction from Rumex crispus L.

언제 더웠냐 싶게 꽤나 썰렁한 바람이 부는 날이다. 추수를 하고 있는 농부의 모습이 차창을 스치고 지나간다. 수건을 쓴 어느 아주머니가 허리를 펴고 하늘을 한번 쳐다본다. 무슨 재미있는 얘기를 주고받았을까. 커다란 웃음소리가 크게 들렸다가 서서히 사라져간다. 기자는 건강검진차를 찾아, 자궁암검사를 받았다가 병을 조기발견하고 두 달에 걸친 치료 끝에 건강을 되찾아 행복한 생활을 하고 있는 정부영씨(경기도 수원시 세곡2동 537-19)를 만나러 갔다. 자신이 당한 일을, 슬퍼하기 보다는 좋은 경험이라고 얘기하는 그녀를 만나면서, 기자는 많은 것을 생각하고 배울 수 있었다.

monaural 신호는 귀의 특성과 인간의 청취 특성을 정확하게 반영하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 귀 자체의 특성이 binaural인 것을 생각하면 monaural 신호를 이용한 방법은 정확한 결과가 나오기 어렵다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 monaural 신호를 이용한 음질 평가 시스템의 단점을 보완하고 귀의 binaural 특성을 살린 binaural 음질 평가 시스템을 구현하였다. 소리에 대한 심리음향학 인자로는 monaural 평가에서 사용했던 loudness, sharpness, roughness, fluctuation strength, annoyance, pleasantness를 binaural에 맞도록 수정하였으며, monaural 평가에서는 사용하지 않았던 tonality를 추가하여 pleasantness의 annoyance의 계산식을 수정하였다.

"3백개 단체와 5백만 과학기술자를 포용하고 있는 우리 과총이 이 나라 과학기술정책의 산실이 되도록 노력하겠습니다." 제13대 과총회장에 취임한 김병수 회장은 본지와의 인터뷰를 통해 이렇게 다짐했다. 김회장은 또 "과총은 과학기술인들의 현명하고 다양한 생각을 바탕으로 정책을 수립하고 그것이 반영되도록 추진함으로써 이 시대에 맞는 '소리'를 낼 것이며 타 분야와의 조화로운 발전을 추구하겠다"고 말했다. 이어서 김회장은 "지난 대선때 발간한 뉴스레터 "과학기술시대"가 정책입안에 크게 공헌한 바 있어 앞으로 이 뉴스레터를 계속 발간할 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 강조했다.

음성은 일상생활에서 표현과 대화의 중요한 수단으로 쓰이는 것으로, 자기 표현이 어려운 영유아나 소아에서는 통증이나 배고픔, 불편함 등을 울음소리로서 표현하기도 한다. 이러한 음성을 이용한 말은 성장과정에서 주변으로부터 듣고 이를 흉내냄으로써 자기 나름대로의 독특한 음성양상을 갖게되는 것이고, 어린 시절 잘못된 발성습관은 후일 성인에서의 잘못된 발성양상으로 지속적인 음성질환을 나타낼 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 이러한 소아에서는 후두 검사가 어렵고, 또 음성변화가 왔을 때 후두의 악성질환이 드물며 보통 저절로 잘 치유되리라는 생각에 진단과 치료가 늦어지는 경우가 흔히 있게된다. 농촌에서는 젊은 세대들이 점점 도시로 떠나가는 경향이 높아지면서 농촌의 연령비율이 높아만 가고 있으며, 점점 대를 이어 농촌을 지키려는 젊은층들이 줄어만 가고 있다. 그래도 그 가운데 뜻을 가진 2세들이 업을 이어가며 젊은 생각으로 보다 발전된 농촌을 이끌어가는 모습들을 뉴스에서 종종 접하곤 한다. 우리 양계산업에 있어서도 이제는 1세대를 지나 2세들이 하나둘씩 나타나면서 활력소로 다가오고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 양계 2세대로 장호원에서 7만수 규모로 산란계농장을 운영하고 있는 오한성 한성에그벨리 대표를 만나 젊음이 보여주는 신선한 현장의 소리를 들어보았다.

본 논문은 컴퓨터 시각을 이용하여 동적 제스쳐를 인식하기 위한 효율적인 지식 표 현 기법의 개발을 목표로 한다. 제스쳐란 시각적인 언어로서 소리를 대신하여 몸짓이나 손 짓을 통하여 자신의 생각이나 의도를 전달하는 보조적인 의사 전달 수단이다. 제안된 기법 은 여러 다양한 지식을 통합하여 총체적으로 표현하기에 적합한 프레임 구조를 기반으로 한 다. 프레임 지식을 물체의 특성을 표현하는 객체 지식, 물체의 움직임을 표현하는 행동 지 식, 그리고 객체 지식과 행동 지식의 순서화 된 집함으로써 동적인 제스쳐를 표현하는 스키 마로 분류한다.

The life of man is being changed with the changes of the times. The man struggles to enjoy the blessing of peace and lives as a member of a nation. So he has the national characteristics. In that national characteristics is the national emotion. From the emotion the national poetry is created. The poetry has the conventional form. This form is regarded as Sijo(時調). The Sijo was prescribed as the organization three sections. But this prescription is false. This form is the organization of five sections. When the false prescription is corrected, we have our conventional poetry form and create our own poems.
