향나무와 가자열매의 혼합 염색 (Combination Dyeing of Juniperus Chinensis and Terminalia Chebula Retzius)

  • This study investigated the color change, enhancement of dye uptake, washing fastness, and light fastness of cotton and silk when dyed with Juniperus chinensis and Terminalia chebula (combination dyeing) using various methods. The dyeing methods were 1) dyeing Juniperus chinensis extract and Terminalia chebula Retzius extract sequentially (J-T), 2) dyeing Terminalia chebula Retzius extract and Juniperus chinensis extract sequentially (T-J), 3) dyeing Juniperus chinensis extract and Terminalia chebula Retzius extract simultaneously (J+T), and 4) dyeing Juniperus chinensis extract 4 times repeatedly and followed by a dyeing Terminalia chebula Retzius extract in sequence. In terms of increased dyeing uptake, combination dyeing (dyeing 2 times like method 1, 2, 3) had the same impact as the repeated dyeing (method 4). The color of J, T combination dyeing showed wide range of mixed YR series, Y series resulting from Terminalia chebula Retzius, and R series resulting from Juniperus chinensis. In cotton, J-T dyeing method showed superior enhancement of dye uptake, and T-J method in silk. In both of the cases, Y series color from Terminalia chebula Retzius extract was mainly shown (Y series color was superior to R series color after dyeing). Therefore, it is recommended for cotton to implement T-J method and for silk to implement J-T method in order to enhance both dyeing uptake and emphasize the color of R series. The K/S value of combination dyed fabrics was decreased by increasing washing time; however, the K/S value of combination dyed fabrics was increased by increasing UV irradiation time. But after repeated washing and longer UV irradiation, ${\Delta}E$ value of combination dyed fabric became smaller compared to fabric dyed with Juniperus chinensis only. Thus, it was found that after J, T combination dyeing, fabric became less prone to fading by washing and UV than after Juniperus chinensis single dyeing was done.

  • There is increased interest in clothes dryers and garments made of spandex-blend woven fabrics; however, there is limited information available for the laundering and drying these clothes. This study investigates the effects of washing and drying on shrinkage, skewness, and wrinkle for woven fabrics with and without spandex. When spandex with good elastic recovery was blended, the deformed shape from washing and drying improved skewness and wrinkle by easily returning to its original shape. However, these properties had a negative effect on shrinkage in terms of length and area change. When the influence of clothes maintenance was classified, the drying process had the biggest influence of 58%, followed by spinning-rinsingwashing. Tumble drying, in which the fabric is exposed to mechanical force and heat for a long period, had more negative effects on the dimensional stability than line drying. The spandex blend had the effect of preventing skewness and wrinkle in garments, but it was also shown to accelerate shrinkage by garment maintenance cycles. It was important to control drying in order to reduce shrinkage during the maintenance process; consequently, this had the greatest influence on the dimensional stability of fabrics. Therefore, line drying was more advantageous for spandex-blend fabrics than tumble drying in terms of management for shrinkage, skewness, and wrinkle.

  • 1, 2-Disubstituted imidazoline 화합물인 1-behenoylaminoethyl-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BHIC), 1-behen oylbis(aminoethyl)-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BBIC) 및 1-behenoyltris(aminoethyl)-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BTIC)로부터 유연제 원액인 BHICS, BBICS, BTICS를 각각 제조하여 아크릴섬유에 유연처리를 한 후 유연성, 평활성 및 대전방지성을 측정한 결과 유연제 모두 유연성과 평활성이 양호하였으며 약간의 대전방지성도 보유하였다. 또한 BBICS와 BTICS의 초기강연도는 5 grade, 5회 세탁후는 3~4 grade로 각각 나타나 내수성을 지닌 양호한 유연효과를 나타내었다. 아울러 처리온도에 따른 촉감의 내세탁성 및 pH 변화에 따른 촉감의 내세탁성 시험결과 등을 통하여 제조된 유연제가 내구성 유연제임을 입증하였다.

  • 보일러실이나 세탁소, 또는 음식점과 다중이용업소의 주방에 주로 설치하는 자동확산소화장치는 화재발생 시 화염이나 열에 의해 자동으로 약제가 방출되어 화재를 진압하는 소화기구 중 하나이다. 이 소화장치는 공칭방호면적에 해당하는 소화능력을 가지고 있으므로 방호대상물이 이 범위를 벗어나 있으면 유효한 화재진압이 보장되지 않지만 현행 기준에는 바닥면적에 따른 설치갯수만 요구하고 있다. 따라서 방호대상물과의 이격거리에 따라 소화성능은 달라지게 되며 이에 대한 특성을 고찰하고자 천장높이가 2.5 m인 모형화재실에 본 소화장치를 설치하고 A급, B급 모형가연물과의 수평이격거리에 따른 소화실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 일반가연물과 유류가연물을 모두 확실하게 소화할 수 있는 최대수평이격거리는 약 30 cm인 것으로 나타났다.

세탁방법에 따른 데님직물의 변색과 변형 (Effects of Cleaning Methods on the Change of Color and Dimensions in Denim Fabric)

  • Denim is one of the most frequently used fabrics for blue jeans. After washing denim fabric frequently changes its size and color. Salespersons recommended that after purchasing blue jeans customers should dry clean them once before washing. The aim of this study was to investigate to what degree washing with a household washing machine and dry cleaning affected the dimensions and the color of denim fabric. The denim fabric shrank greatly after the first laundering in warp direction regardless of whether it had been dry-cleaned or not. However, it shrank little from the second to the tenth laundering and after each number of dry cleanings. The thickness of the denim changed in the same way as the shrinkage occurred when the number of launderings or dry-cleanings increased. Although the indigo came out of the denim into washing liquor, both of the $L^*$ values and the $b^*$ values of the laundered and the dry-cleaned denim fabrics were lower than those of the control fabric. Darkening of the fabric after washing attributed to the shrinkage in warp; specifically the deep-blue warp yarns more spaced on the fabric face and the back. The $L^*$ and $b^*$ values of the dry-cleaned fabric decreased less than those of the laundered. The value of $a^*$ increased much less than the other values. Staining of the white cotton fabric laundered with the denim fabrics became less as the number of launderings increased. The degree of staining from the dry-cleaned denim was much lower than that of the laundered fabric.

근무지 유형에 따른 치과감염관리 인지도 및 실천도 조사 (The Cognition and Practice of Infection Control in Dental Workplace)

  • 본 연구는 대구 및 경북의 치과위생사들을 대상으로 치과 감염관리의 인식과 실천도를 조사하였으며, 이전의 연구를 참조하여 수정 및 보완 후 설문 조사하였다. 근무지 유형에 따라 치과의원보다는 치과병원에서, 치과 감염관리 담당자 및 감염관리 교육의 프로그램의 여부에 따라 다르게 나타남이 나타났다. 또한 치과 감염관리의 인지도와 실천도는 근무지 유형에 따라 개인방어, 무균술식법, 방사선 장비를 포함한 치과 장비, 감염성 폐기물과 세탁물 관리에서 유의하게 차이를 보였으며, 즉 치과 의원보다 치과병원이 감염관리 인지도 및 실천도가 높았다. 따라서 치과병원에서 감염 예방을 최소화하기 위해, 감염관리 및 감염관리의 정규 교육 및 가이드라인이 필요하며, 치과의 특성을 반영하는 지표 및 프로그램 개발 등이 빨리 도입 되어야 하며, 향후 치과의원(의원급 소형병원)에서의 감염 방지 및 평가 프로그램에 대한 연구 및 정부의 제도도 필요하다.

  • Automatic washing machines have been improved and popularized steadily since the first electric washing machine was produced in the early 1900's. Appliance industry has tried to obtain the performance of washing machine with large capacity, high energy efficiency, low vibration and low noise levels. As the installation peace of a washer becomes closer to the living space, vibration and noise problems become more important challenges. In general, a washing machine has four legs to support its body. Four legs of the washing machine should be attached on a floor. If not so, it may cause severe vibration or walking in the spin-drying process. Unfortunately, the floor of an ordinary house is bumpy in general, and the consumers will not accept bolting washing machines to a foundation; moreover, sometimes they move the location of their washing machines to utility rooms or bath rooms or kitchens and don't care for leveling the legs exactly. In this study, we devise an auto-leg system that prevents the occurrence of abnormal vibration and walking of washing machines. It is simply composed of a spring and a friction damper. Some experiments are implemented to show the dynamic characteristics of the three-dimensional auto-legged washing machine model that is located on the even or uneven ground. A spring parameter is optimized to adjust the length of the auto-leg system automatically up to 10 mm irregularity, and the friction damper is designed to decrease a resonance induced by the spring of the auto-leg system. Some numerical results show that placing the proposed auto-leg system in a washing machine makes good performance with low vibration, as well as low noise, regardless of the unevenness of the floor.

병.의원의 환자용 의류제품 관리 현황 (The Present Conditions of Clothes Management by Hospitals for Patient Use)

  • This study investigates the present conditions of hospital clothes management. A survey was conducted with 72 respondents from 28 different hospitals in April and May 2009. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlations using PASW 17.0. The results were as follows: (1) Administrators, nurses, and outside specialists took part in the clothes management process. The administrators participated in the process of purchase determination. Nurses involved in the design, size selection, and outside specialists were responsible for routine management. (2) Most clothes were planned through the discussions between hospitals and manufacturers. Price was the most important element to determine the purchase of clothes. Size systems were various depending on the conditions of the hospital according to the number of beds. (3) Laundry duties were performed by the hospitals themselves or in specialized laundry plants. In addition, the hygienic condition of clothes management were satisfactory. (4) Patient gowns were evaluated positively, yet some complaints from patients were reported. (5) Various medical supplies were used and were uncomfortable related to textile and fitting problems. Future research themes are suggested based on these results.

  • 본 연구는 사용자간 게임 아이템 현금거래의 개념과 현금거래의 거래방식, 가치사슬, 이해관계자 그리고 발생 가능한 이슈에 대해 분석하였다. 게임아이템 현금거래는 게임 자체의 비즈니스 모델뿐만 아니라 디지털 콘텐츠의 유통, 사행성 및 작업장 등 민감한 사회적 특성을 보이고 있다. 게임 시장의 지속적인 성장에 따라서 게임 아이템 현금거래의 거래방식과 가치사슬도 변화하고 있으며 기존의 거래방식 및 가시사슬과 다른 현재의 게임아이템의 새로운 개념에 대해 새롭게 분석하였다. 또한 게임아이템 현금거래와 관련하여 계정거래, 캐릭터 선물하기 서비스, 캐릭터 육성하기 서비스, 자금세탁, 아이템 자동 등록기 등의 대한 다양한 이슈를 분석하였다. 이 같은 분석 결과는 게임아이템 현금거래 관련 정책 및 각 이해관계자들의 전략 수립 등에 중요한 현황자료가 될 것이다.

조선소 배출수 및 주변 하천수의 생물독성 (Biologic Effect of Effluents from Shipyard and the Adjacent Stream Water on Four Cultured Organisms)

  • 조선소에서 배출되는 처리수, 혼합방류수 및 주변 하천수가 양식 생물에 미치는 생물 독성영향을 알아보기 위해 48시간 급성독성과 DNA 손상을 조사하였다. 조사대상 생물종으로는 조선소 주변에서 양식되고 있는 넙치, 조피볼락, 피조개, 멍게가 사용되었으며, 48 시간 노출 후 치사율을 파악하였고, DNA 손상 정도는 Comet assay을 이용하여 측정되었다. 급성독성 실험 결과, 넙치는 장평천에서 치사가 나타났고(26%), 조피볼락은 혼합방류수 1에서 치사가 나타났다(13%). 멍게는 고현천에서 10%의 치사율을 보였고, 피조개는 어느 시료에서도 치사가 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구에 사용되어진 어떠한 시료에서도 실험생물을 50%까지 치사시키는 독성이 나타나지 않아 $LC_{50}$은 계산될 수 없었다. 넙치는 장평천과 혼합방류수에서 대조구보다 유의하게 높은 DNA 손상을 보여주었고, 조피볼락은 장평천에서 유의하게 높은 DNA손상이 나타났다(p<0.05). 멍게는 세탁폐수에서 유의한 DNA손상이 나타났지만, 피조개에서는 모든 처리구에서 DNA 손상을 보이지 않았다. 치사율과 DNA 손상을 고려하였을 때 조선소의 처리수와 혼합방류수보다는 장평천에서 놀은 생물독성을 보여주는 것으로 나타났다.
