무선 주파수 인식(RFID) 기술은 차세대 유비쿼터스 환경에서 중요한 기술적 위치를 차지할 것으로 예상되고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 새로운 시장을 형성해 나갈 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 RFID 태그 내용의 노출 혹은 임의의 태그에 대한 위치 추적 가능성은 RFID의 실용화에 있어서 사용자의 프라이버시 위협이라는 심각한 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 이러한 RFID 프라이버시 보호를 연구 동향들을 살펴보고 방식별 장단점을 비교한다.

저렴한 서비스 이용료라는 장점과 함께 통신망의 진화에 따라 인터넷 전화는 향후 차세대 네트워크의 기본 서비스로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷 전화는 낮은 서비스 품질이라는 근본적인 문제점을 안고 있다. 인터넷 전화가 성공하기 위해서는 PSTN 수준의 높은 서비스 품질을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 고에서는 인터넷 전화의 품질을 평가할 수 있는 통화 품질 측정 방법과 그 결과 및 사례를 소개한다.(중략)

본 연구는 현재 도입예정에 있는 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 확산가능성에 대하여 잠재적 사용자1,000명을 대상으로 조사한 최근 조사자료를 중심으로 실증분석하였다. 잠재적 사용자의 선택 및 반응함수추정방법은 분석의 객관성과 효율성을 유지하기 위하여 모수적 추정과 반모수적 추정방법을 동시에 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스사용자들의 해당 서비스선택반응함수를 분석한 결과 서비스확산은 상당히 느리게 이루어 질 수 있다는 결과를 보여 주었다. 이러한 분석결과는 기존 초고속 및 이동통신서비스 확산에서와 같이 형태의 빠른 확산속도를 보일 것이라는 낙관적 전망견해에 상당한 문제점이 있음을 보여 준다. 둘째, 본 연구의 차세대통신 및 방송서비스확산의 부정적인 분석결과에도 불구하고, 차세대 통신서비스의 성공적 확산에 중요한 요인으로는 서비스제공요금을 낮추고, 젊은 사용자층에게 새로운 서비스의 유용성을 인식시킴으로써 최종서비스선택까지 유도케 할 수 있는 유인 메커니즘 도입전략 개발이 사업성공의 필요조건이 될 수있음을 보여 주었다. 마지막으로 우리나라 통신 및 방송산업환경은 상용화를 준비하는 사업자들이 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 성공적 도입을 위하여 시장구조분석 및 시장욕구의 질적 방향분석뿐만 아니라, 그 영향 정도를 수치화하고 계량화하는 시장분석자료를 바탕으로 시장도입 및 전개전략을 개발하는 과정이 절대적으로 필요한 단계가 되었음을 보여 준다. 본 연구결과의 시사점으로 차세대 통신 및 방송서비스의 산업고도화에 대한 면밀한 사전계량시장분석으로 시장전략형성 전환적사고가 해당 서비스제공사업자뿐만 아니라 서비스정책을 수행하는 정부당국자에게도 필요과정요소가 되고 있음을 보여 준다.

This study aims to explore emotional closeness between grandparents and grandchildren in Korean families with a focus on the lineage. The effects of the geographical proximity and the normative aspect as well as intergenerational financial, instrumental, and emotional supports were taken into consideration to accounting for the grandparent-grandchildren affective solidarity. Research questions are addressed using the data of "Survey on Generational Solidarity and Differences in Cultural Experience and Perception in Korea", and a series of multinomial regression model were conducted. Findings indicate that the salient factor to boost grandchildren's affective solidarity with paternal grandparents is financial transfers between grandparents and parents. By contrast, all types of intergenerational supports affected grandchildren's emotional closeness toward maternal grandparents. Geographical proximity was associated with the affective solidarity between grandchildren and maternal grandparents. The effects of normative solidarity were not shown at both lineages.

In this study, we analyzed exhibitions and programs of Daegu National Science Museum in terms of levels of science communication and domains of scientific literacy. Also, we surveyed visitors' perceptions on the exhibitions. As results of analysis on science communication level, 48.3% of exhibitions and programs corresponded to the 1st generation level, 49.0% corresponded to the 2nd generation level, and 2.7% corresponded to the 3rd generation level. In terms of domains of scientific literacy, the contents on 'design world' and 'the nature of technology' got a majority. Also, the results of visitors' perceptions on the exhibitions showed they preferred active exhibitions, that is the 2nd generation. It is recommended to develop more 3rd generation exhibitions and programs based on the paradigm shift about the role of science museums. And it is also recommended to carry out the task to raise consciousness of citizens about scientific literacy and science communication.

This study verifies parking requirements of an apartment suggested in parking generation law in Korea through analysing the surveyed parking generation rate. It is revealed that the parking requirements according to the gross floor area in parking generation law is similar to the surveyed parking generation rate as an average but the differences of each requirements by region and apartment's size are not significant. Parking generation rate results in strong correlation with the number of household rather than the gross floor area, and the new requirements suggested in this study, based on the number of household, shows significant difference by region and apartment's size, which is consistent with common sense. This study suggests parking requirements of an apartment, based on the number of household, by region and apartment's size for 6 groups. Surveyed parking generation rate of each group is fitted to statistical distribution and the mean value of fitted statistical distribution is suggested as the parking requirements of each group. Parking requirements based on the number of household is easily recognized of its relative and absolute value, and moreover is consistent with the surveyed parking generation rate.
