This paper aims to theoretically discuss the re-conceptualization of the school geography curriculum towards global citizenship education. To achieve this goal, post-structural global citizenship is introduced as an alternative notion of global citizenship by revealing some limits of the existing postcolonial global citizenship studies for global justice. Based upon Carr's(1996) idea of curriculum typology, three major curriculum perspectives are theoretically evaluated to see if they implicitly or explicitly undermine the citizenship of global 'others' ethically and politically. Post-structuralist ideas are then suggested as an alternative approach. With reference to this standpoint, this paper concludes by providing practical implications for a more just school geography curriculum towards global citizenship.

The purpose of this study is to show typology of virtual world and to look out how virtual world develops especially in Korea. As paradigm changes, the scientific virtual reality and world wide web are absorbed into 3-D virtual world in Metaverse. The metaverse is the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space. There are two categories of virtual world, the Ludic Virtual World which is oriented from games like MMORPGs and the Social Virtual World which is oriented from network communication system. Compared to North America and Europe, the Ludic Virtual World and game society grow and develop quickly in Korea. It's because Korean users prefer the online environment where millions of people live out a collective fantasy existence.

The multicultural society under globalization have made an impact on the education since the end of 20th century. This study is for the theoretical approach and presentation of method about global citizenship education in globalization & multicultural society today. As an education which is suitable in the globalization & multicultural society I present 'cultural diversity' education. The 'cultural diversity' education for fostering global citizenship is needed to enhance the cultural sensibility while learning other cultures. The 'cultural diversity' education is having the values of human rights, fairness, diversity respect and living together. So I present the study lesson plans of 'cultural diversity' education for a global citizenship education from elementary school 6 grade social studies "Natural environments and cultures of world regions" chapter.

21세기 세계시장의 도전에 즈음하여 표준개발에 대한 글로벌 기반구조(Infrastructure)가 변화의 계기를 맞고 있다. 하나는 WTO/TBT 협정의 발효로 세계를 대상으로 제품과 시스템을 생산 및 판매하기 위한 표준 및 시방서의 필요성이 커지고 있다는 측면이고 다른 하나는 지구촌 시민이 사용하는 관련제품과 시스템에 대한 보건, 안전 및 환경을 지킬 필요성이다. 모든 표준이 시발점부터 세계를 대상으로 하는 표준시스템으로 개발이 되었다면 문제가 없었을 것이나 대부분의 국가가 자기 나라 차원에서 표준을 개발하였으므로 국제레벨에서 표준문제를 해결하는 일은 아주 복잡하고 어렵다. 이 글은 미국 국립표준기술원(NIST)이 미국의 표준을 세계화하기위한 기반구조 구축의 정책 방향에 관한 내용을 요약한 것이다. 미국은 세계 유일의 초강대국으로 세계시장에 대한 도전, 제작자와 공급자 사이의 상호 연계성, 지구촌 어느 소비자에게 공급된 제품에 대하여도 보건, 안전 및 환경을 지킬 필요성 등을 목표로, 현재의 미국 제도를 21세기 세계표준으로 정착시키겠다는 전략이다.

글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 경우에는 세계산업 내지 세계시장 요인이 현지시장 내지 현지산업 요인보다 더 중요한 ADR과 원주 수익률의 결정요인으로 실증된다. 원주의 움직임에 대해서는 대체로 현지산업, 현지시장 요인, 세계시장 요인, 세계산업 요인순으로 설명력이 높게 나타난 반면, 글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 기업 원주에 대해서는 세계시장 또는 세계산업 요인, 현지시장 또는 현지산업 요인 순으로 설명력이 높다. ADR의 움직임은 대체로 세계시장 요인, 현지산업 요인, 현지시장 요인, 환율 요인, 세계산업 요인, 미국산업 요인, 미국시장 요인 순으로 설명되는 반면, 글로벌화가 진전된 산업의 경우에는 세계시장 또는 세계산업 요인, 환율 요인, 현지산업 요인, 현지시장 요인 순으로 설명력이 높다. 한편, 원주와 ADR간에 수익률과 변동성은 모두 상호관련성이 높고, 원주 수익률을 설명하는 요인과 동일 외국기업의 ADR을 설명하는 요인은 대체로 일치한다.

The concept of 'cultural diversity' has emerged as a key concept and the buzzword of the 21st century's international community in education, science and culture sectors since UNESCO's "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity"(2001). However, the appropriate and correct implementation in educational level and in a subject scale can not be pursued without special understanding of multilateral implications of UNESCO's 'cultural diversity' because the concept of cultural diversity has been distributed to various applications according to individual scholars and institutions before the "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" was released. The ultimate orientation of 'cultural diversity', the concept presented in "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" is 'world peace' and 'the coexistence of various cultures of mankind'. In this regard, 'cultural diversity' has special 'educational' meaning to the next generation as well as the current one. Also, it is meaningful to take educational practices on cultural diversity in case of the "World Geography" subject in view of that international society of geographical education came up with "International Declaration of Geographical Education for Cultural Diversity" in the IGU(International Geographical Union) 2000. From this point of view, the author proposes that the 'cultural diversity' concept implies four folds of meanings as an ideology, as a symbol, as a vision, and as a epistemological turn based on the analysis of literatures on 'cultural diversity' of UNESCO, then presents an educational practice centering around the examples and its usage of teaching materials of cultural diversity.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the share of global citizenship education in the 2009 Revised Social Studies (geography area) School Curriculum of the Republic of Korea. I selected the achievement standards of the geography domain in the fifth and sixth grades as the subjects of analysis. The chosen subjects were examined using content analysis: I used KrKwic, a Korean language content analysis tool, to analyze the content and drew a semantic network of the analysis results using UciNet/NetDraw. I found that the geography domain of the 2009 Revised Primary School Curriculum included the concepts of and factors of global citizenship education. However, global citizenship education did not account for a major portion of the curriculum, and the curriculum achievement standards were noticeably nation-state centered. Global citizenship education factors were not closely associated with to other related factors in fact, they even revealed a isolated pattern. These findings suggest that the inclusion of global citizenship education in primary geography education is limited, because the connections between global citizenship education and related contents, such as the environment, sustainable development, conflict, and cooperation, are probably impeded. Globalization accompanies the transformation of territories, identities, and the relations between nation-states and the world, although nation-states continue to play a significant role in the globalized worlds. Therefore global citizenship education, a educational trend focusing on the global community, is particularly important and is required in the geography curriculum of the global era. I expect that the examination undertaken in this study to contribute to future curriculum revisions regarding globalizatin and global citizenship.

세계의 인구증가와 경제성장에 따라 필연적으로 에너지 소비량도 증가하게 될것이다. 1989년 10월 유엔(UN) 총회에서 국제원자력기구 사무총장인 Hans Blix박사가 연설한 [세계 경제 발전과 전반적인 에너지 소요증가에 따른 원자력의 역할에 대한 재평가]에 의하면 앞으로의 20년간 2차에너지의 소비량은 지금보다 50%-70% 증가할 것으로 예상되며 이로 인한 이산화탄소의 발생량을 감소시키기 위해서는 화석연료의 사용억제가 필요한데 완전한 해결책은 없으나 그래도 원자력발전이 산성비나 기상변화에 영향을 주지 않으면서 세계 에너지 수급 균형에 크게 기여할 수 있다는 점을 강조하고 있다. 또한 최근에는 원자력발전에 대한 세계각국의 여론동향도 원전의 긍정적 역할을 재인식하면서 필요성에 대한 찬성여론이 증가하고 있는 추세이며 특히 안전성에 역점을 두고 개발되고 있는 신형안전로에 대해서는 더욱 좋은 반응을 보이고 있는 것으로 조사되고 있다. 자원빈국이며 비산유국인 우리나라의 경우 앞으로의 에너지 위기에 대처하기 위해서는 고갈성 화석연료의 대체가 가능한 태양에너지, 해양에너지 및 연료전지와 같은 신.재생에너지의 개발이 시급하나 아직 실용화가 요원한 상태이고 보면 앞에서 서술한 여러가지 원자력발전의 필요성을 고려할때 기술집약형 대체에너지인 원자력발전사업의 지속적인 추진만이 에너지 문제의 현실적 해결책이라고 믿어진다.

우리나라 디스플레이산업은 수년간 세계시장점유율 1위를 지속하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 수익성 측면에서도 경쟁국을 압도하여 산업내 글로벌 포지션을 후발자에서 선발자로 변화시킨 성과를 달성했다. 우리니라 디스플레이산업은 호황기에는 최고의 수익률을 시현하고 불황기에는 최소 적자로 빠른 흑자전환 모습 을 보임으로써, 세계시장점유율과 수익성의 양 측면에서 경쟁국들을 압도했다. 이러한 디스플레이산업의 경쟁력 강화와 세계시장 지배력의 확대는 경기침체기 혹은 경제위기 극복 이후 우리나라 제조업의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 새로운 발전모델로 부상하고 있음을 시사한다. 본 고에서는 산업연구원의 '경기침체기의 디스플레이산업, 제조업의 새로운 발전모델로 부상' 이라는 보고서를 통해 디스플레이산업이 주목받게 된 요인을 살펴보고 국내 제조업이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 알아본다.

This study aims to reconstruct Leibniz's theodicy. Theodicy is to defense of the highest wisdom of the creator against the charge which reason brings against it for whatever is the evil in the world. For this defense, Leibniz created his own new kind of concepts: the principle of sufficient reason, the principle of perfection, the best of all possible worlds, moral necessity. Leibniz's theodicy is developed as following. Most good and wisest God created this world freely by moral necessity. God's will was to choose the goods antecedently. But God's will could not create goods only. For God's final purpose is to create the best. For this reason, it happens that the evils may come about by concomitance, and as a result of other greater goods. Therefore the evils are necessary in the world. And evil consists in imperfection. Man has free will as God. Freedom, according to Leibniz, consists in intelligence, which involves a clear knowledge of the object of deliberation. Man has freedom, but man's freedom is imperfect. Evil is originated in man's imperfect freedom.
