Fault Detection and Diagnosis based on Fuzzy Algorithm in the Injection Molding Machine Barrel Temperature (사출 성형기 Barrel 온도에 관한 퍼지알고리즘 기반의 고장 검출 및 진단)

  • We acquired data of injection molding machine in operation and stored the data in database. We acquired the data of injection molding machine for fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) continuously and estimated the fault results with a fuzzy algorithm. Many of FDD are applied to a huge system, nuclear power plant and a computer numerical control(CNC) machine for processing machinery. But, the research of FDD is rare in injection molding machine compare with computer numerical control machine. We appraise the accuracy of the FDD and the limit of the application to the injection molding machine. We construct the fault detection and diagnosis system based on fuzzy algorithm in the injection molding machine. Data of operating injection molding machine are acquired in order to improve the reliability of detection and diagnosis.

  • Injection molding has been widely used for the mass production of a plastic product. With the development of the relative technique, various injection molding techniques have been developed and we could get more precise plastic product. The temperature of a melting resin is an important factor in the injection molding and this temperature has direct influence on the quality of a plastic product. In the present injection molding machine, the deriation of a temperature controlled by PID control method is within 2$^{\circ}C$ in the injection molding machine but PID control method takes too much time to stabilize after preheating and its overshoot is so big. We applied fuzzy control to alleriate the problem. In this research, we experimented the fuzzy temperature control with the usage of PC based PLC.

  • 본 논문에서는 고출력 증폭기와 송신 펄스 성형 필터로서 Raised Cosine filter (RCF)를 사용하는 OFDM 시스템에서 비선형 왜곡 보상을 위한 고정점 반복 사전왜곡기를 제안하고 이의 성능을 검증하였다. 제안된 사전왜곡기는 RCF 전단에 위치하나 이의 Zero-Intersymbol Interference 성질을 이용하여 단지 고출력 증폭기에 의한 기억성이 없는 비선형 왜곡만을 보상하는 효율적인 구조이다. 또한 성능 검증을 위해 필터 전단에 위치하는 사전왜곡기와 증폭기 전단에 위치하여 증폭기의 비선형 왜곡만을 보상하는 사전왜곡기를 비교하여, 필터에서 ISI를 제거한 경우에는 사전왜곡기의 위치에 관계없이 비선형 왜곡을 효과적으로 보상할 수 있다는 점을 모의실험을 통해 확인하였다.

  • To obtain high positioning auccuracy for a long, flex bleman Ipulator, residual vibration must be removed from the tip motion. But it is difficult to control the vibration of low frequency. There are open-loop and closed loop methods in the elimination of the residual vibration. We inroduce input shaping technique has been used as a simple open-loop method of controlling the residual vibration of a flexible manipulator. Design of input shaper in the continuous time domain is complicated. This paper presents a new technique that designs input shaper in the z-domain and analyzes input shaping method in the z-domain. This technique is simple and easy to design input shaper.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an automated die design system for compacting and sizing process required in Powder Metallurgy. Though the Powder Metallurgy(P/M) is a practical and economical forming technology, it needs long time and many trials and errors for die design. Such a problem can be solved by introduction of the automated die design system for P/M. In order to establish the system, collecting, classifying, and systematizing related knowledges from the experts in industries, books, and papers were performed. The system was constructed by AutoLISP, the language operated in AutoCAD atmosphere. This language can efficiently support for user to work on drawings. There are three modules ; P/M part specification input module, P/M part design module, and Die design module. A part for vehicle was applied to the system and satisfied results were achieved.

  • 광대역통합망 환경에서 에지 라우터에 요구되는 여러 가지 기능 및 성능항목들 중에서 차세대 개방형 시스템 플랫폼을 적용하면서도 10Gbps 라인속도를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 연구하고 그에 따른 상위수준의 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 10Gbps 인터페이스에 대해서 라인속도를 제공하기 위해서는 스위치 카드와 라인카드간의 물리적 연결에 최소한 10Gbps의 두배에 해당하는 20Gbps 대역폭 할당이 필요하며 이를 위해서 개방형 플랫폼의 패브릭 인터페이스에서는 라인카드당 8개의 연결 링크를 사용하는 듀얼-듀얼 성형 토폴로지를 사용하여야 한다.

  • In this paper, we have constructed an expert system for semiconductor chip encapsulation which combines a knowledge-based system with CAE software. The knowledge-base module includes heuristic and pre analysis knowledge for evaluation and redesign. Evaluation of the initial design and generation of redesign recommendations can be developed from the rules as applied to a given chip package. The CAE programs can be used for simulating the filling and packing stage of encapsulation process. The expert system is a new tool which enables package design or process conditions with high yields and high productivity.

  • For hydroforming process, determination of back-up fluid pressure in chamber is one of the most essential tasks. In this paper, we present a back-up pressure estimation system which estimates the back-up pressure of hydroforming process utilizing a multi-layered neural network. The neural network learns the nonlinear relation ship between the back-up pressure and the geometric state variables of hydroforming process. The proposed method does not necessitate sophisticated analysis on hydroforming process but some geometric intuition. The experimental results show that the neural network well approximates the nonlinear relationship between the back-up pressure and the geometric state variables of hydroforming process, thus giving the good estimation of back-up pressure vs punch stroke curve.

  • 유한요소해석프로그램들의 적용대상이 최근들어 다(多) 자유도의 비선형문제로 확대됨에 따라 컴퓨터의 계산속도가 특히 중요한 제한조건으로 대두되기 시작하였으며 금속성형해석, 자동차 등의 충돌해석(자유도가 2만-6만), 토질 및 콘크리트 등의 점소성해석과 더불어 항공기, 터빈 등의 열응력해석 및 동적해석 등에 있어서는 막대한 계산시간으로 인하여 해석의 효율성에 대한 문제가 제기되고 있다. 따라서 슈퍼컴퓨터를 포함하여 고속연산기능을 가진 병렬처리컴퓨터를 이용하여 유한요소해석을 수행하여야 할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 88년 9월중에 한국과학기술원 시스템공학센터에 현존하는 슈퍼컴퓨터중 최상위 성능을 가진 CRAY2S가 설치됨에 따라 국내에도 슈퍼컴퓨터시대가 열리게 되었으며 따라서 본 고에서는 CRAY2S의 시스템개요 및 응용소프트웨어에 대하여 소개하고 슈퍼컴퓨터를 이용한 유한요소해석에 관하여 간략히 기술하고저 한다.

A Study on the Forming Process Optimization of a Small Tube (소구경 관단 성형공정 최적화)

  • The end shape of tube for automobile power steering system has influence on the ability of performance. In this case study, we attempted to optimize the forming process of a small tube using Taguchi experimental design methodology. A preliminary experiment was conducted and four main control factors were selected. The experiment was set up as an $L_9(3^4)$ orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of the four factors through the analysis of the experimental results. As a result, the performance characteristic(close adhesion power) of the product was improved about 36%. In addition, the process capability index $C_{pk}$ is enhanced from 0.94 to 6.85.
