An Analysis of Activity Factors of the Public Library Volunteers in Daegu Metropolitan City (대구지역 공공도서관 자원봉사자의 행동요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of participation in the public library volunteers, and what factors influence on continuity and intensity of volunteer activity. It analyzed the questionnaires from 109 public library volunteers in Daegu Metropolitan City. First, public library volunteers were mainly participated by motivation for personal achievement and concerns on local welfare problems. Second, in case of the factors on the continuity and intensity of public library volunteer activity, four factors selected based on literature review had significant effects on each variables. Third, the loyalty on the public library newly investigated had also significant effects on the continuity and intensity of public library volunteer activity.

  • This paper explores the key facts of residents' participation in local development projects and activities. Analysing in what ways indifferent residents pay attention to local issues and participate in local activities, this paper aims to suggest the effective ways of residents' participation for local capacity building. By in-depth interviews with active participants in local projects, this paper elucidates three key facts for boosting residents' participation: first, the approval of community about what they have done in community: second, social networking which contains full of trust and solidarity: third, the effort to coincide their personal interest with their local issues.

  • 이 책자는 기본간호의 구성요소를 분석한 것이며 이것은 간호원의 독특한 기능에 관한 다음과 같은 정의에서부터 나온 것이다. 즉 간호는 각개인이 병에 걸려 있거나 혹은 건강할때, 건강이나 질병으로부터의 회복(혹은 평화스러운 죽엄으로)에 도움이 되는 모든 활동을 수행함에 있어서 그를 돕는 일이며 이러한 일들은 만일 그가 필요한 힘, 의지 또는 지식을 가지고 있었다면 다른 사람의 도움없이도 할 수 있었을 것이다. 또한 각 개인이 가능한 한 속히 독립성을 회복하도록 돕는 일도 간호원의 기능인 것이다. 다시 말하면 간호원은 각개인이 다음과 같은 활동을 할 수 있도록 돕는것이다. (1) 정상적으로 호흡한다; (2) 적절하게 먹고 마신다; (3) 모든 배설통로를 통하여 배설한다; (4) 적당한 자세를 유지하고, 운동한다;(걷는 것, 눕는 것, 한 체위에서 다른 체위로 바꾸는 것); (5) 잠자고 휴식한다; (6) 적당한 의복을 선택학, 옷을 입고, 옷을 벗는다; (7) 의복을 적당히 조정하고 환경을 조절함으로써 체온을 정상적으로 유지하도록 한다; (8) 신체를 청결하게, 몸을 단정히 하고 표피를 보호한다; (9) 환경으로부터 오는 위험을 피하고 다른 사람을 손상케 하는 위험을 방지하다록 한다; (10) 감정, 욕구, 공포, 또는 ''느낌''을 표현할 때 다른 사람들과 의사를 소통한다; (11) 그의 신앙에 따라서 예배한다; (12) 성취감을 가져올 수 있는 어떤 작업을 한다; (13) 유희, 또는 각종 오락에 참여한다; (13) 건강한 생활로 ''정상적'' 발전을 할 수 있게 만드는 방법을 배우고, 발견하고 또는 호기심을 만족시킨다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and problems of an independent research program. The researcher has collected and analysed data from 99 teachers and 825 students who participated in the 'Book Writing' program of Daegu Metropolitan City Board of Education. As an way to improve teaching and learning methods of schools, the 'Book Writing' program is evaluated to be effective and relevant. In conclusion, the researcher suggested several ways to improve the program.

  • In this paper, a curriculum-based electronic design project with a improved training kit is discussed. Students can raise the practical ability for comprehension and analysis of electronic circuits by the design and assembly of electronic components and measurement practice and learning the process closely. The products of this paper can be utilized as hands-on training for increasing confidence in the improving education for creative practical electronic design ability.

  • Interest of augmented reality increases rapidly due to development of recent technology. Augmented reality offers learners various satisfactions by using the sense of sight, hearing, touch, etc. and enhances immersion and interest. This paper presents a drawing system for toddler's art education using augmented reality. This system helps toddlers draw pictures easily and can teach toddlers art learning effectively at low cost as well as provide immersion, achievement, and interest.

  • Underachievers, having had more experience with failure in teaming, tend to lose their self-confidence and motivation for study. If they achieve more when studying, they will enhance their self-confidence and motivation and their learning accomplishments will be increased. A game-style learning system was, therefore, developed in which the learner gains self-satisfaction and motivation with a proper 'hit and win' in a game-style program. The system supplies learning content automatically and randomly while adapting to the student's level by continuously checking the learning progress. Positive effects in motivation and learning achievement were recorded when underachievers used this program.

  • In this paper, we saw how high school students have affection mathematical journal writing and how mathematical journal writing affects high school students mathematical attitude we got the conclusion of this research through case study as following; First, through mathematical journal writing, while research participants feel sense of accomplishment, feel buren about exposure of their own ideas. Second. mathematical journal writing makes students. think self-examination and benefits mathematical comprehension process. Third, mathematical journal writing changes students' studying attitude positively and makes students participate actively in class.

A Qualitative Research on Block Play for Children (유아들의 쌓기놀이에 관한 질적 연구)

  • This research employs the grounded theory approach among various qualitative methodologies in order to reach a deep understanding of both the experiential process that children undergo in block play and the essential meaning of it. The objects of this study are 22 children(female 7, male 15) in a 5-year-old class of K kindergarten at Guro district, Seoul. The result of this research shows that first, children take pleasure in block play because of the delight and sense of accomplishment in building, the joy in demolishing, and the happiness of embracing the world through dramatic play with building structures. Second, the characteristics of children's block play are popular subject of the play, decision of the subject, impromptu transformation and elaboration of building structures, and flow of the play according to friend/non-friend relationship. Third, the implicit rules shared by children have more significant influences upon the block play than the agreed rules at the beginning of semester.

  • The improvement of abilities of utilizing information as well as information education is coming to the fore as a really significant matter to students living in knowledge and information-oriented society of the 21st century. In this respect, this study aims to develop teaching and learning model for technical high school students who need more desire and comprehensive faculty of their learning and to testify its efficiency by relating their abilities of using In to their curriculum. In addition, this study attempts to investigate how to improve their academic results and achievements by case as well as to enhance their academic interests by helping then perform continuously their learning activities on the development of the model for teaching and learning in technical high school curriculum.
