성대주름을 덮고 있는 점막과 안쪽의 성대근육, 성대인대 사이의 잠재적 공간을 라인케격간이라고 부르고, 이 부위의 광범위한 부종으로 인해 진성대가 마치 물주머니처럼 보이는 폴립양비대를 라인케 부종이라고 한다. 라인케 부종은 특징적으로 홉연과 밀접한 관련이 있으며 때로는 성대남용이나 위-식도역류와도 관련이 있다고 알려져 있으나 그 병리기전은 아직 정확히 알려져 있지 않다. (중략)

Various laryngeal injection techniques andmaterials have been introduced and widelyused. In this section, office-base laryngeal injection with Cidofovir, Steroid and Botulinum toxin will be described including a suitable approach for the injection, treatment efficacy, side effects and its pitfalls.

Metallic sandwich plates with hi-directional inner structure are important new structures for forming applications. Bi-directional corrugated inner structures with less than 25% of relative density are fabricated by piecewise sectional forming process and then bonded with two face sheets by adhesive bonding. Drawing and U-bending experiments have performed and shown that the radius of curvature of sandwich plates is 75mm and sandwich plates are bended 90 degrees without collapse of inner structures. Bi-directional inner structures are suggested to improve formability of sandwich plates for bending and drawing.

We screened several materials to stimulate IGF-1 promoter activity using luciferase reporter assay and found that Amomi Semen extract (ASE) among them is the most powerful stimulator We also studied about the anti-wrinkle effect of ethanolic extract of Amoni Semen in vitro and in vivo. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR showed that the extract elevated the presence level of IGF-1 mRNA. And $[^3H]$ proline incorporation and semi-quantitative RT-PCR showed that the extract increased the expression of type-I collagen compared with vehicle in vitro and in vivo, respectively. Significant inhibition of MMP-1 expression was determined by ELISA and Western blot. Finally, topical treatment of the extract on hairless mouse's dorsal skin expanded the volume of collagen and dermal thickness. These results suggest that Amomi Semen may be a good candidate for improving extracellular matrix through the increase of collagen expression and inhibition of MMP-1 expression. Moreover, this study enables us to guess that IGF-1 stimulated by the extract may be involved in the mechanism of anti-wrinkle effect of it.
