Information management system development of construction material based on international data attribute (국제 데이터 속성 기반 건설자재 정보관리 시스템 구축)

  • 최근 건설 분야의 정보화 기술이 발달함에 따라 건설생애(Life Cycle) 과정에서 파생되는 방대한 양의 정보를 수집·가공·축적·제공 하는 시스템이 급증하는 추세이다. 특히, 건설공사의 주요요소인 자재 정보를 제공하는 Web 기반 온라인 시스템만 현재 110여개 이상으로 토목·건축·설비·소방 분야에 이르기까지 매우 다양하다. 그러나 이러한 시스템에서 제공 중인 정보가 표준화 및 정형화 되지 않아 건설현장 실무자들의 정보 획득에 있어 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정형화되고 표준화된 건설자재정보를 제공하기 위해 건설자재 분류체계를 정의하고 건설자재 속성정보를 정형화하여 자재별 분류체계검색, 통합검색, 카테고리검색 뿐만 아니라 전자카탈로그로 변환 및 생성이 가능한 건설자재정보 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다.

  • To reform and improve the productivity of construction industry, 1) it should be encouraged to improve the construction production process and 2) it is required to enhance reliability of construction information based on the systematic thinking process. To promote the information reliability created during construction production process, Lean Construction Research Center(LRC2) is developing a supporting system to improve design/material supply/schedule management, functioning to efficiently manage the information created at construction production processes and developing a web based construction information system that provides result management/decision making support/knowledge based information services.

  • As information technology of constructional area develops recently, web-based on-line system is rapidly increasing to provide information on diverse constructional materials so as to enhance productivity of constructional business and to reduce cost. Since the constructional materials information provided by these systems, i.e., quality, specification, etc are not standardized, however, the staffs on the constructional site suffer considerable difficulties in using materials information when acquiring information on specific materials, e.g., using diverse information systems or repeating similar jobs. Thus, this research typified information items of constructional materials on the basis of GDAS and designed multi system model to control integrated information on constructional materials. This system can efficiently control and utilize materials information by supporting automatic classification of constructional materials to which OmniClass Part-22 and UNSPSC are applied, conditional complex retrieval of materials information, real-time automatic embodiment of electronic catalog and retrieving/controlling RFID.

  • There have been research and developments for effective and efficient logistics and progress management in a construction project. Among them, RFID+4D has been developed for the supply chain management of long-lead item materials such as steel component, precast concrete component and curtain wall by integrating RFID with 4D CAD. And the feasibility of RFID+4D has been verified and validated and the benefits in terms of time and cost were shown in several case studies. However, the previous development of RFID+4D has not been adapted widely because of additional modeling cost, non-real time data update, additional labor for data update, and so forth. Therefore, this research has proposed a framework and process for solving these problems. And the web based simulation system has been developed and verified based on the proposed framework. The proposed framework and process can improve the existing RFID+4D system in a construction project by saving its operation cost and utilizing project information more efficiently and effectively. Also it is expected that the proposed framework could be applied to a method transferring design RIM data to construction BIM data.

An Integrated Construction Management Framework based on Ubiquitous Computing Technology (유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술 기반 통합 건설관리 체계)

  • In this study, we propose an ubiquitous computing technology (UCT) based construction management (CM) framework which is composed of processes, information systems, and organizations. For this, we first define 14 promising UCT based CM tasks from 140 candidate tasks using a matrix analysis technique. After defining the 14 tasks, we survey the construction management experts with questionnaire of the importance, improvement possibility, ease of implementation of the tasks. Based on the survey results, we select three high priority tasks: material management, operation management, inspection and measurement management. We conceptually design the framework, that is, processes, information systems, and organizations for the 3 tasks to be more innovative by applying the UCT to the CM tasks. Finally, we apply the proposed framework to some construction fields and estimate the effectiveness of the framework. Estimation results show that the CM tasks can be performed more quickly with less man powers using the UCT-based CM framework.

  • 도입까지 시간이 걸릴 것이라고 예측됐던 건설정보모델링(BIM : Building Information Modeling, 이하 BIM)이 어느새 성큼 다양한 분야에 진입했다. 영국, 싱가포르, 미국 등 해외에서는 이미 공공사업 시 BIM을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 우리나라 또한 2018년 국토교통부에서 '스마트 건설기술 로드맵'을 마련한 후 공공사업에 BIM을 단계적으로 도입해왔다. 대부분의 발주기관들은 오는 2025년까지 공공사업에 BIM을 전면 도입한다는 계획이다. 성균관대학교 공과대학 건설환경공학부 및 미래도시융합공학과 교수이자 국제건설자동화학회의 종신 상임이사인 권순욱 교수는 '스마트 건설 관리' 연구자이자 국내외에서 활동 중인 CM, BIM의 권위자다. 관련 분야의 책 8권과 100편 이상의 논문을 집필하고 30여 개의 특허·소프트웨어 등록을 보유하고 있다. 텍사스 오스틴 대학교 토목공학 박사 출신으로, 삼성물산, 한국건설기술연구원 등 일반 기업과 국가기관에서 실무와 이론을 두루 경험하며 경력을 쌓았다. 건설연구개발사업, 첨단 융복합 건설기술 등 다수의 국가 건설 R&D에 참여해 초고층 자재, 안전 모니터링, BIM 프로세스 표준개발 등의 시스템을 개발하기도 했다. 해외 연구자들과의 교류에도 적극적이다. 세계 석학들과 '노령 공학' 관련 영문교과서를 공동 집필(스마트주택 챕터 담당)했고, 2016년과 2019년엔 국제건설자동화학회와 국제프로젝트관리학회의 연사 자격으로 강단에 섰다. "영국, 싱가포르 등에선 공공사업을 100% BIM으로 발주하기 시작했습니다. 우리나라 정부도 비슷한 길을 가고 있습니다. 일정 규모의 발주 물량이 안정적으로 나오는 공공기관에서 그렇게 한다는 것은 국가가 전체 패러다임을 바꾸겠다는 의지 아닐까요?" 6월 10일 그의 연구실에서 권순욱 교수를 만나 BIM의 현황과 전망에 대해 들어봤다.

  • The importance of a building management is embossed at construction industry and the concernment about a lengthening longevity and a efficient management of construction project is concentrated. At present, a study about maintenance management of existing building is progressed and normal papers concentrate in partial construction project for showing management method. This paper proposes Management method that make use of RFID/USN at the whole course of construction project that is composed plan, design, supply, construction, operation, maintenance management and so on. First of all, this paper analyzes process and applicable scope of RFID/USN at construction project. At each step, use scope, location, method and so on are decided at plan, design step and equipment, human power, materials and so on are established at supply step. real time progress, human power, safety, material, equipment management and so on put in operation at construction step and building is managemented real time by established sensor tag and wireless sensor network. This paper want to helps efficient project progress and management and presents convenience of maintenance management.

  • In this study, the possibility of seismic performance design was proposed and the quality verification test method was reviewed as part of the design of waterproof performance in underground walls under accelerated environment conditions for waterproofing materials, which are barrier and finishing material that can prevent ingress or overflowing water from inside and outside of a building by attaching all of the construction materials used in construction structures. Considering the current state of earthquake-resistant design of construction materials in Korea and abroad, seismic product groups are rare and mostly dependent on construction methods because there are no regulations on materials, although there are still regulations on earthquake-resistant design in the building process under the current law. Overseas, it was possible to confirm that various building materials that gave seismic performance to non-structural materials, such as Japan, Canada, and Germany, are being developed. If it is possible to have a complementary response to earthquakes in the advanced external waterproofing materials, it can be expected to be applicable as leak prevention and prevention technology along with the seismic designed structure.
