Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of left visual stimuli for reducing the severity of unilateral neglect. Method : This research used a reversal design(ABAB) of single case study. The subject was a 60-year-old male patient who had left unilateral neglect. Remedial approach is more valuable method than compensatory approach in term of reducing the unilateral neglect. One of the method of remedial approach is controlled sensory stimulation. Result : I performed the line bisection test before and after the stimulation, and while doing that, put blinking lights to the patient from the left side. The average errors in the line bisection test decreased in B B', the intervention period, compared with A A'. The MVPT left response behavior score increased from 13 to 18. Conclusion : This shows that the light stimulation is effective in the reduction of unilateral neglect.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of video observation training on neglect and ability to perform activities of daily living of stroke patients. Methods : Patients diagnosed with stroke were selected as subjects according to criteria to select the research targets. The additional video observation training besides OT and PT was carried out to 15 patients in an experimental group and sham therapy besides OT and PT was performed to 15 patients in a control group. Line-bisection test were conducted to compare the neglect before and after therapy intervention and FIM was conducted to compare the ability to perform the activities of daily living. Results : The result of this study that we found out that degree of neglect in an experimental group where video observation training was carried out improved neglect and the ability to perform activities of daily living. Conclusion : The video observation training the video observation training is expected to be useful in clinics.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of auditory stimulus using music on unilateral neglect in patients with stroke. Methods : This study used a single subject (ABA) design. The subject who showed unilateral neglect caused by stroke received auditory stimulus using music for 60 minutes per sessions. A total of 20 sessions were conducted. The unilateral neglect was measured by the Star cancellation test and Line bisection test during each session, and Catherine Bergego Scale was used to evaluate the degree of unilateral neglect in daily life pre-and post-test. Also, Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule was used to test subject's emotional status. Results : During the intervention period, the results of the Star cancellation test and Line bisection test showed the trend of reduction of unilateral neglect symptom and the effects of intervention were maintained after intervention. After intervention, the results of CBS indicated decreased unilateral neglect symptom in activities of daily living and the results of PANAS indicated increased positive affect. Conclusions : The result of this study indicate that auditory stimulus has a positive effect on the unilateral neglect, and may be considered as alternative choice in clinical occupational therapy for reducing unilateral neglect.

Objective : Vibration stimulators are easier to obtain in clinical settings than other treatment tools, and it is advantageous that the arm activation training can be performed passively. Despite the following advantages, recent studies on vibration sense have not been activated yet. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of vibration sensation on the hands of the affected upper limb on unilateral reduction of stroke patients. Method : Patients with unilateral neglect due to stroke were enrolled in this study for about 3 weeks from October 19, 2018 to November 7, The research design used ABA design among the single-subject experimental research design, and a total of 18 circuits (4 baseline, 6 intervention, 3 baseline regression) were performed once a day on weekdays Respectively. MMES-K was used to select the subjects. Line bisection test (LBT), Albert's test and Star Cancellation Test (SCT) were used as unilateral neglect test. For the analysis, the baseline and intervention period measurements were visually analyzed using graphs and mean values were used. Result : All three evaluations showed that the number of errors missed during the training period was lower than the baseline period, and this decrease remained after training. The error was reduced by an average of $2{\pm}1.2$ omissions and an average omissions of $0.6{\pm}0.5$ omitting an average of $4.5{\pm}1$ omissions in the line break test. As a result of the Albert test, the average error decreased by $22.5{\pm}1.9$ omissions and $8{\pm}7.3$ omissions and $0.3{\pm}0.5$ omissions, respectively. In the star clearance test, the average error decreased from $26{\pm}4.6$ to $21.8{\pm}1.7$ and $20{\pm}0$, respectively. Conclusion : In this study, vibrotactile stimulation therapy showed a continuous effect on improving unilateral neglect. Based on these findings, further research should be conducted in order to improve objectivity in future studies. Further research on various arbitration methods that maximize the effect of intervention will be needed.

In this study, using real-time gaze tracking and head tracking method, we intended to quantitatively evaluate the deviation between the patient's head and gaze direction while minimizing inspection errors due to apraxia of conventional paper-based examination respectively. As a result, we developed a software that can quantitatively measure gaze and head movement information, and computerized the line bisection and star cancelation test, which are generally used as conventional paper test. In addition, for the rehabilitation training, contents corresponding to the visual technology of Warren's visual hierarchical model lower level are implemented and can be performed repetitively and independently. This allows the patient to actively participate in rehabilitation and quantitatively compare the degree of improvement.
