입구 안내익 영향으로 인한 원심 압축기 성능특성 시험연구 (Experimental Study on the Effect of Inlet Guide Vane of a Centrifugal Compressor)

  • This paper reports an experimental investigation on a centrifugal compressor with the adjustable inlet guide vane. The compression system is composed of a radial impeller, a vaneless diffuser, and an IGV. The results have shown that surge line on the performance map is affected by the amount of prewhirl and the prewhirl has an effect on transient region between rotating stall and surge. The surge lines have been shifted toward the lower flow region with the increased positive prewhirl and the higher flow region with the increased negative prewhirl. During the unsteady performance test, it was also found that the transient region was reduced with the increased negative prewhirl, and weak signals of rotating stall were detected just before surge as the positive prewhirl was increased.

  • An experimental study on the performance and instability development characteristics of a centrifugal compressor equipped with an adjustable inlet guide vane has been performed with varying guide vane angles. The test was conducted at the design speed of 20,800 rpm for 6 guide vane angles : $-30^{\circ},\;-20^{\circ},\;10^{\circ},\;0^{\circ},\;10^{\circ},\;20^{\circ},\;30^{\circ}$. Unsteady pressures were measured using high-frequency pressure transducers at the inducer to investigate the instability phenomena such as rotating stall and surge inside the compressor. From the unsteady measurements, it is found that the transient process from rotating stall to surge was mainly affected by inlet guide vane angles. The results of the present study can be applied to the instability control of the centrifugal compressors using a adjustable inlet guide vane.

  • In high-pressure diesel engine, the injected fuel spray impinges on the piston cavity surface due to the short distance between the injection nozzle and the cavity wall. The behavior of the impinging spray has the great influence on the dispersion of fuel, the evaporation, and the mixture formation process. In this study, the numerical simulation using the GTT code was performed to study the gas flows, the spray behaviors, and the fuel vapor distributions in the combustion of a D.I engine for variation of spray angle and swirl ratio.

CIGS 광흡수층의 Selenization 공정방법에 따른 구조 변화 연구

  • 박막태양전지의 일종인 CIGS 태양전지는 직접천이형 반도체로 광흡수계수가 $1{\times}10^5cm^{-1}$로 매우 높고, 전기광학적 안정성이 우수하여 실리콘 결정질 태양전지를 대체할 고효율 태양전지로 각광받고 있다. CIGS 태양전지는 광흡수층 공정방법에 따라 다양한 결정구조 및 효율 차이가 나타난다. 본 실험에서는 Sputtering방법으로 금속전구체를 증착하고, Sequential process를 이용하여 고온에서 셀렌화 열처리를 수행하였다. Soda-lime glass 기판에 배면전극으로 Mo를 증착하고, 1단계로 CuIn0.7Ga0.3 조성비의 타겟을 이용하여 Sputtering법으로 $1.0{\sim}1.2{\mu}m$두께의 CIG 전구체를 증착하였다. 2단계로 CIG 전구체에 분자빔증착기를 이용하여 Se를 증착하고, 열처리를 통하여 CIGS 화합물 구조의 박막을 형성시켰다.증착된 CIGS 박막은 광전자분광분석기로 원소의 화학적 결합상태를 확인하고, in-situ 엑스선회절분석을 통해 Se층의 증착두께와 열처리 온도 변화에 따른 CIGS 층의 결정구조 및 결정화도 변화를 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the flame structure and NOx emission characteristics of the swirl flow coaxial diffusion combustion in the model gas turbine combustor. The mean temperature, ion currents and NOx emission measurement technique showed the effect of equivalence ratio into flame length and flame stability. As a result of this study, NOx emission was increased by increasing the equivalence ratio, and the peak value of the NOx was appeared near the flame front.

수정 Lagrangian model을 이용한 선회 비 예혼합 화염에 대한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Analysis for a Swirling Confined Non-Premixed Flame with Modified Lagrangian model)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify that the modified Lagrangian model can predict temperature, flow and scalar fields in the high temperature recirculation region of swirling confined diffusion flame. In the meantime numerical results from EBU and Equilibrium PDF models as well as experimental results are compared with those from the modified Lagrangian model. Adaption of three different turbulent models were accompanied with this procedure. Look-up table of the ignition characteristic time scale which is one of important factors of the Lagrangian model was referred to the 11-step reduced mechanism. Eventually, results with the Lagrangian model show a good accordance with experimental results, which shows the validity of this model. Results from Chen's model differ from those of the others. Numerical results of ${\widetilde{k}$ show significant deviation from experimental results for three models.

  • In this paper, the backstepping control method that is useful for cascade systems is applied to the slew maneuver of the spacecraft. The quaternion is used for representing the attitude of the spacecraft, because the reference trajectory of angular velocity has simple mathematical form. The conventional backstepping control has severa] problems such as slow convergence, trivial cancelling of nonlinear terms, and excessive control input. To overcome these problems, the modified backstepping control method which is redesign of Lyapunov function is proposed. To design a tracking function for angular velocity, it is necessary to estimate the process of maximum angular velocity, and therefore the estimation procedure using Bellman-Gronwall inequality is developed. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed control law, numerical simulation is performed and the results are compared with the exiting control scheme.

InSb 박막의 제작과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the ppropperties and Fabrication of InSb Thin Film)

  • 전자빔증착기를 이용하여 적외선영역에서 직접천이형 에너지갭을 갖는 III-V족 2원화합물반도체인 InSb박막을 제작하여 전기-자기적 및 광학적 특성을 조사하였다. 증착된 박막의 X-선회절법으로 분석한 결과, 열처리온도 5$25^{\circ}C$, 열처리시간 30분 열처리한 박막에서 In2O3피크가 없어지고, InSb피크만 나타났으며, 이때의 격자상수 a0=6.49$\AA$이었다. 기판온도가 증가할수록 InSb박막의 결정화가 일어나 전자이동도는 증가하고 비저항은 감소하였다. 온도 100~300K, 자계 500~9000 gauss범위에서 van der ppauw법에 의한 홀효과를 측정한 결과 증착된 박막의 전도형은 n형이었고, 상온에서 캐리어농도는 2.5$\times$10-16cm-3이었으며, 캐리어농도는 2.83$\times$104$\textrm{cm}^2$/V-sec이었다. 적외선 분광기로 측정한 InSb박막의 광학적 에너지갭은 기판온도가 증가할수록 InSb의 에너지갭에 해당하는 값으로 이동하였으며, 기판온도 30$0^{\circ}C$, 열처리온도 5$25^{\circ}C$일 때 측정한 값은 0.173eV였다.

용접잔류응력과 그 제어

  • X선응력측정법은 결정의 각자간 거리를 표점으로 하는 각자변형도를 X선회절현상을 이용하여 직접규정하여 응력을 구하는 것이다. 따라서 비교재의 교정곡선으로 부터 간접적으로 응력을 측 정하는 자기법이나 초음파법 등의 비파괴측정법에 비하여 X 선응력측정법은 잔류응력과 같은 내부응력의 비파괴측정법에 알맞고 지금까지 많은 연구자에 의하여 용접부에 적용시키기 위한 시도가 행해졌었다. 앞서 말한 국제회의에서도 X선응력측정법을 취급한 논문이 6편이고 그 가운 데서 3편이 용접구조물 또는 이음부에 이 방법을 적용한 것이다. 그래서 본고에서는 먼저 용접 잔류응력의 발생기구와 계산법, 측정법에 대하여 기술하겠다. 똔 잔류응력이 용접이음부의 파괴 강도 및 용접균열에 미치는 영향, 용접잔류응력의 대책과 이용법에 대하여 일본에서의 연구를 중심으로 소개하겠다.

비정밀접근절차 체크리스트 개발연구 (Development of Non-precision Approach Procedures Checklist)

  • After a thorough investigation of aviation accidents involving Korean national carriers both inside and outside of Korea and also after reviewing catastrophic events involving foreign carriers in Korea, we found numerous accidents that caused fatalities and serious personal injuries. Although the aircrafts involved were found to have no specific defects, many of the accidents were caused by the pilot's misjudgement according to previous studies. Our research is to find an new procedure to help the prevention of similar accidents by focusing particularly on CFIT accidents during the procedural operations of Non Precision Approach, Circling Approach and Visual Approach. Therefore, we emphasize the significance of this research on the development of the new checklist that will help achieve a safe and effective procedural operation for non precision approaches.
