Z축 선형 영구자석 동기전동기의 초기각 추정 알고리즘 (Initial Pole Position Estimation Algorithm of a Z-Axis PMLSM)

  • This paper deals with the estimation method on the initial pole position of a z-axis permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) without magnetic pole sensors such as Hall sensors. The proposed method takes account of the z-axis conditions such as the gravitational force and also the load conditions. The algorithm consists of two steps. The first step is to estimate the initial q-axis approximately by monitoring the movements at predefined different test q-axes. The second step is to estimate the real q-axis as accurately as possible based on the results at three different test q-axes. Experimental results on the z-axis PMLSM show good estimation characteristics of the proposed method.

  • Detent force produced in permanent linear machines generally causes an undesired effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper analyzes detent force and thrust in Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) by using various detent force minimization techniques. A two dimensional Finite Element Analysis(FEA) is used to Predict detent force and thrust due to structural factors and non-linearity.

  • A linear induction motor conveyance system with longitudinal and transverse rails is manufactured. which is controlled by programmable logic controller(PLC). The linear induction motor has a cage-type secondary and the total number of the installed primaries is 10. Four secondaries are installed on the below surface of the moving carrier. In this paper, the developed conveyance system is introduced and its PLC control characteristics for the longitudial and transverse moving directions are presented.

  • A aluminum recycling industry is one of new application of Linear Induction Motor(LIM). As the example a melting furnace. which is using LIM, to melt conductor which is chipped and scrapped is supposed for the aluminum recycling industry. So, in this paper, the LIM for melting furnace are designed. And a electro-magnetical characteristic of designed model is analyzed by 2D-FEM.

  • It is difficult to realize the complicate SUM which is applied vector control system, but widely used in AC motor vector motor control system or servo control system because of its high performance in current control. In this paper, we use the dynamic characteristic analyzing methode that can calculate efficiently the end effect by using equivalent circuit methode in the operating SLIM system modeling and doing simulation of output characteristics of vector controller.

  • The Response Surface Methodology is frequently used for building an approximation model. However, its approximation errors often occur in engineering problem, because of the use of the Least Square Method. Therefore, this paper introduces the Moving Least Square Method to obtain the more accurate Response Surface Model, and then the detent force of a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor is applied to verify the accuracy of the introduced method.

  • Because most LIM is driven by inverter, input voltage is involved with the time harmonics. Therefore the equiLlQ/ent circuit for an inverter-fed LIM has to be modified to represent every harmonics present in supply voltage. This paper analyzes the characteristics and loss of LIM to construct the equivalent circuit for each time harmonics through the static test and theoretical analysis. To make an analysis of nonsinusoidal supply waveforms, it is developed the simulation program to calculate the RMS, peak value and THD for any waveforms expressing Fourier series.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new method which does not need no load test for the characteristics analysis of linear induction motor. A new equivalent circuit of LIM is chosen and a method of determining its constants from results of the lock test is discussed. The calculated results were satisfactorily agreed with experimental results and conventional method.

  • This paper deals with the dynamic characteristic analysis of a linear synchronous motor with surface type permanent magnets using time-stepped finite clement method. The secondary back-iron conductivity is considered in the field analysis. As a result, we can investigate dynamic characteristics as well as some performances like attractive force and input power.

  • Vector control schemes are used in inverter-fed induction motor drives to obtain high performance. Crucial to the success of the vector control scheme is the knowledge of the instantaneous position of the rotor flux. However, the position of the rotor flux change with temperature and magnetic saturation of the motor. This variation cause deterioration of both steady state and dynamic operation of the motor drives. Performance degradation is in the form of input-output torque nonlinearity and saturation of the motor. Analytic expressions are derived to evaluate the effects due to parameter sensitivity. Also, dynamic response is shown by speed command with the variation of stator and rotor resistance.
