선형 동기 전동기가 있는 축소형 자기부상열차의 추진 제어 (Propulsion Control of a Small Maglev Train with Linear Synchronous Motors)

  • In this paper, the propulsion control of a high-speed maglev train is studied. Electromagnetic suspension is used to levitate the vehicle, and linear synchronous motors (LSM) are used for propulsion. In general, a low-speed maglev train uses a linear induction motor (LIM) for propulsion that is operated under 300[km/h] due to the power-collecting and end-effect problem of LIM. In case of the high-speed maglev train over 500[km/h], a linear synchronous motor (LSM) is more suitable than LIM because of a high-efficiency and high-output properties. An optical barcode positioning system is used to obtain the absolute position of the vehicle due to its wide working distance and ease of installation. However, because the vehicle is working completely contactless, the position measured on the vehicle has to be transmitted to the ground for propulsion control via wireless communication. For this purpose, Bluetooth is used and communication hardware is designed. A propulsion controller using a digital signal processor (DSP) in the ground receives the delayed position information, calculates the required currents, and controls the stator currents through inverters. The performance of the implemented propulsion control is analyzed with a small maglev train which was manufactured for experiments, and the applicability of the high-speed maglev train will be explored.

  • In this paper, High performance torque control based on the flux mapping of 48V Wound Rotor Synchronous Motor has been studied to improve torque control. Flux map considering MTPA (Maximum Torque Per Ampere), MFPT (Minimum Flux Per Torque), Maximum efficiency point at the same torque command and flux command for each field current was produced. Current map using flux mapping of Each field current was applied to the MTPA, MFPT. Generating a current vector locus was to determine the characteristics of the operation region. Through the Matlab/Simulink simulation, difference between speed-torque map and flux map was represented. The suggested flux map was tested actual experiments on a dynamometer.

  • Rotating machines are using gears to change the rotary motion into the linear motion, on the other hand, linear motors have a accurate position control and excellent dynamic characteristics because of generating a thrust force directly. But the important problem, one of the linear motor is a high thrust force ripple. Thrust force ripple has a bad effect on the position accuracy and the dynamic characteristics, so it is necessary to reduce the thrust force ripple. Cogging is one of the cause that affect thrust force ripple. Cogging has some connection with the GCD between pole pitch and teeth pitch It is proposed method to reduce a thrust ripple of the linear motor that chamfering, skew, and so on. In this paper, the module phase set shift(MPSS) is used to reduce a thrust force ripple that has a similar effect to skew. And propose a method that reduce a thrust force ripple more by use of chamfering.

  • 본 논문은 IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 센서리스 운전을 위해 확장 칼만 필터를 기반으로 하는 속도와 위치 추정기의 설계방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 상태 추정의 정밀도를 향상시키기 위해서 시스템 모델의 상태추정구간을 더욱 세분화하여 나누고, 세분화한 각 구간을 테일러급수 전개하여 일차항만 사용하여 추정하였다. 제안된 상태 추정기는 2차 확장칼만필터에 비해 사전추정의 연산의 양을 크게 하지 않고, 상태추정의 정밀도가 증가함을 시뮬레이션을 통해 보일 수 있었다.

  • A linear synchronous motor (Linear Synchronous Motor, under LSM) is suitable for Maglev train. This is 500km/h or more for running high-speed propulsion system of high-efficiency, high-output characteristics. Also, as high-speed running, it is needed solution to reduce output ripple component cause bad riding like noise and vibration. So this paper was designed 500km/h-class Maglev train and analyzed characteristics of the LSM base model using finite element analysis method. Further, improved model is designed to improve characteristics of thrust and levitation force by enforcing design parameters analysis and sensitivity analysis. And it was applied skew on field in order to reduce the ripple component still remaining. Skew interpretation of the two-dimensional is proposed and this is verified by carrying out three-dimensional finite element analysis comparing two values. It proved to be valid of skew of the two-dimensional analysis.

  • This paper presents the characteristic analysis and experiment of force characteristics in permanent magnet linear synchronous motor for accuracy prediction of linear motion machine tools. In particular, the pitching moment resulting from attraction force ripple has been analysed and tested. Firstly, we analysed the characteristics of detent force, attraction force, and pitching moment in permanent magnet linear synchronous motor according to the design techniques such as auxiliary teeth, chamfering, and permanent magnet skewing. In addition, we suggested the experimental set for measurement of pitching moment. Finally, the results from measurement shows the good agreement with those obtained from finite element analysis results.

  • This study deals with the design and characteristics analysis on a linear synchronous motor (LSM) with a long stator and phase concentrated winding (PCW) to apply for a propulsion system such as a roller coaster for leisure facilities. First of all, the required propulsion force of LSM is computed and its design with double sided permanent magnets (PMs) and a phase concentrated winding is processed. The phase concentrated winding is composed of a module with each A, B, and C phase unlike an conventional concentrated winding (CW). It has an advantage of the installation and manufacture, compared to the conventional concentrated winding in the propulsion system for leisure facilities that have a long acceleration area and stator configuration placed on rail continuously. Thus, the design for the propulsion system and characteristics comparison between the phase concentrated winding and concentrated winding are carried out in this paper. Also, the analysis on dynamic characteristics is conducted to confirm the performance at operation.

  • 본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터에 적합한 새로운 데드타임 보상방법을 제안한다. 최근 PWM 인버터는 교류전동기, 분산전원용 계통연계 시스템, 정지형보상기 등의 다양한 산업에 사용되고 있다. 그러나 사용되는 전력용 소자의 비선형적인 특성과 데드타임에 의해 전력의 품질이 저하되고 전류에 고조파가 발생하게 된다. 데드타임에 의한 고조파는 정지좌표계상에서는 제 5, 7 고조파가, 동기좌표계상에서는 제 6 고조파가 가장 현저하다. 본 논문에서는 동기좌표계상에서 공진제어기를 사용하여 제 6 고조파를 보상하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 시스템의 안정도를 유지하면서도 데드타임에 의한 전류의 고조파를 억제하여 전력품질을 향상시킬 수 있고, 제 6 고조파를 검출하기 위한 별도의 연산이나 외부적인 하드웨어, 추가적인 실험이 필요하지 않다는 장점이 있다.

  • Nowadays, small quantity batch production, which is so-called a flexible manufacturing system, is a major trend in the modern factory automation industry. The demands for new transportation system are increased gradually, with which multiple passive carriers carrying materials and semi-products are precisely and individually controlled along a single closed rail. Thus, a new type of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), which consists of state coils on a single rail and PM movers as many as carriers, is proposed in this paper. The rail can be segmented as modules with pairs of coils and a current amplifier, which makes the transportation system simple; therefore, the rail can be easily extended and repaired. A design method of the new PMLSM with a single carrier is proposed, which can be thought as a new version of PMLSM, a coil-segmented coreless PMLSM (CS-CLPMLSM). Experimental setup for it is made, and propulsion results show that with the help of a new effective coil selection and switching algorithms, the conventional current-based vector control is sufficient to fulfill the position and velocity control of the new PMLSM. The proposed PMLSM is expected to fulfill seamless servo-control of multiple carriers also in process line, such as a new generation of flat panel display manufacturing line.

  • 고속전철 부하는 동기 전동기를 제어하기 위해 컨버터와 인버터를 포함한 많은 비선형 부하를 가지고 있다. 고조파 측정 결과로 고조파는 시간에 따라 변하는 특성이 관측되었다. 순시치 측정에 의한 고조파 평가는 측정 순간에 따라 고조파가 다를 수 있으므로 모호한 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 시간에 따라 변하는 고조파를 해결하기 위해 쓰이는 가장 보편적인 방법은 누적확률을 사용하는 것이다. 고조파 시뮬레이션은 사례연구 시스템의 전압 및 전류 왜곡을 평가하기 위해 이용되었다. 본 논문에서는 고속전철 부하의 고조파 현장 측정, 국제 고조파 관리 기준인 IEC 61000-3-6과 IEEE Std. 519에 의한 고조파 평가, EDSA 프로그램을 사용한 시뮬레이션을 심도있게 다루고자 한다.
