항로표지 정보의 스마트화 전략 연구

  • IMO, IALA는 e-Navigation 전략과 해사 서비스를 개발하고, 해상자원에 대한 유일 번호체계 도입을 위한 해상자원명 지침을 개발하고 있으며, 항로표지 등의 해양정보를 해사안전 국제 공통 표준(S-100)에 기반한 정보 표준 및 관련 서비스 표준을 개발 중에 있다. 해상교통시설을 기반으로 항로표지, 해양기상 정보 등 다양한 정보를 수집/관리 하고 있으므로, 항로표지 관련정보를 효율적으로 관리하고 육상 및 해상 사용자로의 활용 증대를 위해 항로표지 정보의 스마트화 전략이 요구 된다. 본 연구에서는 항로표지 스마트화 전략의 핵심 요소인 항로표지 정보 표준에 기반한 체계 구축, 유일번호 부여 및 활용을 위한 해상자원명 적용 방안을 소개하고, 이러한 핵심 기술을 활용한 항로표지 정보의 스마트화 전략을 제시 하고자 한다.

A Study of the Automatic Berthing System of a Ship Using Artificial Neural Network (인공신경망을 이용한 선박의 자동접안 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, Artificial Neural Network(ANN) is applied to automatic berthing control for a ship. ANN is suitable for a maneuvering such as ship's berthing, because it can describe non-linearity of the system. Multi-layer perceptron which has more than one hidden layer between input layer and output layer is applied to ANN. Using a back-propagation algorithm with teaching data, we trained ANN to get a minimal error between output value and desired one. For the automatic berthing control of a containership, we introduced low speed maneuvering mathematical models. The berthing control with the structure of 8 input layer units in ANN is compared to 6 input layer units. From the simulation results, the berthing conditions are satisfied, even though the berthing paths are different.

  • In the past, the scenario of VTS simulator was made by instructor's manual operation using waypoint definition of target ship. but in this study, we use automatic scenario creation technology with AIS data and Port-MIS data. The created VTS simaulator scenario also can be modified, added, and saved by instructor's manual operation. VTS simulator display target ship on the Electronic Navigation Chart based on S-57 format. A instructor can easily open this scenario and start, pause, stop operation wirth VTS simulator. A new modification also can be applied immediately to current scenario and can be saved new scenario file. VTS simulator using this technology can create many scenarios for a specific purpose and can be easily used for various application fields.

  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted the Circular 101 (MSC / Circ. 1604) as an interim guidelines for MASS trials at the 101st Maritime Safety Committee. This guideline will be used as a guideline for the sea trials of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships(MASS) in the future and will be used by government authorities and stake-holders to secure infrastructure for MASS safety, environmental protection and remote operation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Interim Guidelines for MASS Trials adopted by IMO and to clearly classify the responsibilities and obligations of governments of stake-holders, and to present the main points of risk management necessary for maritime test operation from the perspective of human factors.

  • Route Design & TSS(Traffic Separation Scheme} establishment are often used to improve the maritime traffic safety in the heavily congested traffic area. There are several domestic and international route design guidelines, but there is no guideline of TSS design As a result, TSS is usually designed based on the subjective opinions of professionals in this field. Until now, there exist a few papers dealing with the effects of TSS on the reduction of maritime accidents, however, it is hard to find a paper on the design guidelines of TSS. In this paper, TSS design guidelines are proposed based on the quantitative assessment of navigational difficulty felt by mariners, which is expected to improve navigational safety of vessels in congested area.

  • A mis-handling of the ship operators show high rate among the whole marine accidents. Since the port conditions have been getting worse. also as her size and speed increase, collision risk has been increased so that ship needs the automatic control system for collision. From that purpose, this research has been proceeded. The research has based on the MMG mathematical model, used Surge-Sway-Yaw motion equation, the information from the position and estimated time of collision point (DCPA and TCPA) to determine the collision risk with Fuzzy theory. To verify this system, ship was simulated when the ship encountered multitude of ships around the coast. The simulation result shows good application in avoiding ship collisions around the coast.

There are several domestic and international route design guidelines, but there is no guideline of TSS design. So, TSS is designed by specialist's subjective opinion. Until now, when TSS is designed there are a few paper about the easiness effectiveness of marine accident, but there is no paper to design TSS guideline. This paper proposes the design guideline about TSS to improve the safety of navigation vessel by the quantitative assessment in the viewpoint of mariner.

등부표 최적배치 원칙을 결정하기 위한 방법

  • 출입항로에서 중요한 역할을 하는 등부표는 주로 항로를 표시하거나 위험 장소를 표시한다. 등부표를 적절한 간격으로 배치하여 항해자가 자연스럽게 이용할 수 있도록 하는 것이 다른 항법시스템이 없더라도 안전을 확보할 수 있는 길이 될 것이다. 이런점에 고려하여 이 논문에서는 동부표의 적절한 배치(이하 '최적 배치'라 한다.)를 하기 위한 원칙을 제시하려고 한다. 이 원칙을 먼저 항만의 수역 설계와 관련한 규정을 검토하고, 면담 및 설문 조사에서 얻은 결론, 실측한 등부표 시인거리, 마지막으로 개개의 항만에 어떻게 적용되는가를 탑 혹은 풀미션 선박조종시물레이터으로 검증하는 방법으로 진행하려고 한다.

  • 미국 해안경비대 및 영국 해양사고조사국에 의하면 해양사고에서 인적과실의 원인중 상당부분 선원 피로에 기인하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 스웨덴에서의 연구 결과 약 73% 정도 선박 당직근무자들이 당직 근무 시간 중 최소 1회 또는 그 이상 졸음에 빠져 있는 것으로 보고하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 연안선 항해당직자들을 대상으로 Workload를 분석하였으며, 효율적으로 Workload를 측정할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • RadarBeacons are navigational equipment that helps the navigators avoid dangerous rocks, such as heavy fog, nighttime, etc. when ships operate, or when visibility is bad. The existing antenna was researching the development of the advanced radar eacon (Enhanced Radar Beacon) for improving the development of the next generation racon with the AIS (Automatic Identification System) function.
